ABSTRACT
The luminescence and scintillation properties of LuxGd3-xAl2.4Ga2.6O12:Ce (x = 0.2,
0.4, 0.6 and 0.8) garnet crystals were investigated. These crystals were grown by the
micro-pulling down method. The Ce3+ 5d1-4f luminescence was blue-shifted with
increasing Lu content due to a decrease in crystal field splitting of the 5d levels. With
increasing Lu content in LuxGd3-xAl2.4Ga2.6O12 compounds, the scintillation decay
time accelerated with an expense of LY value. Radioluminescence (RL) spectra were
measured at various temperatures between 10 and 350 K. The RL yield at room
temperature is almost 30 - 35 % lower than the value below 150 K. Low temperature
thermoluminescence was also recorded to characterize the luminescence quenching
at lower-temperature region.

ABSTRACT
Mg2+ - codoped Lu3-xYxAl2Ga3O12:Pr (x = 0, 1, 2, and 3) garnet crystals were grown
by micro-pulling down method. Absorption spectra, light yield, and scintillation
decays were measured at room temperature (RT). Temperature dependence of X-
rays excited radioluminescence (RL) spectra were recorded at different temperatures
between 10 and 350 K. The Pr3+ 5d1 → 4f luminescence was red-shifted with
increasing Y content due to an increase in crystal field splitting of the 5d levels. All
samples showed RL yield at RT around 40 - 60 % lower than its maximum one at
low temperatures. LuY2Al2Ga3O12:Pr,Mg showed light yield value of 10,130
photons/MeV and fast scintillation decay time of 17.5 ns (92%).

ABSTRACT
This paper presents the design of thin layer directs solar drying cabinet with
automation assist for controlling moisture and temperature inside the cabinet. High
temperature may cause the damage on dried products and in drying process need low
humidity to carry the water out from products. Two motors with ArduinoTM
microcontroller were used to control the air inlet and outlet of solar drying cabinet.
The fan speed at the two motors were controlled from the temperature and relative
humidity conditions which were detected from thermometer and relative humidity
sensors. The electric power of motors and controller supplied by PV-cell with battery
for low light and night time drying. The cabinet could reach the air temperature from

ABSTRACT
The Gd2Y(1-x)DyxAl2Ga3O12 phosphors were prepared by the solid state reaction to
study in the structure, photon absorption, photoluminescence and radioluminescence
properties. The XRD represents a crystalline cubic as the main structure of phosphor.
The Y atomic position were successfully replaced by Dy in phosphor with Dy
concentration (x) in a range of 0.25 - 1.00 mol. This phosphor absorbed the photons
with various wavelength in the UV, VIS and NIR region, shown by the absorption
spectra. Both direct Dy3+ and indirect through Gd3+ excitation caused the strong
photoluminescence around 481 and 581 nm under the 4f-4f transition of Dy3+ ion.
The photoluminescence decay times of phosphors are around 0.12 – 0.74 ms. The
developed phosphors perform a good response to the X-rays in the
radioluminescence spectroscopy.

ABSTRACT
Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) is one of the popular medicinal plant that is widely
used and consumed in Thailand. In particular, it is taken to mix with curry and used
as an herbal medicine for the general public. In this study, the specific activities of
natural (226Ra, 232Th and 40K) and anthropogenic (137Cs) radionuclides which were
accumulated in rhizome of fresh Turmeric plant, were measured and analyzed by
using high purity germanium detector (HPGe) and gamma spectrometric analysis
system. Total 2 0 samples of fresh turmeric were collected from Lan Khoi sub-
district, Pa Phayom district, Phatthalung province and then were prepared with the
standard methodology following IAEA manual. It was found that the range values
of 226Ra,232Th, 40K and 137Cs were < 1.48 - 4.36, 7.78 - 17.65, 719.52 - 974.43 and
< 1.40 - < 2.31 Bq/kg with the average values the range was 1.89 ± 0.07, 10.30 ±
0.37, 818.03 ± 22.85 and <1.82 Bq/kg, respectively. According to the asymmetrical
distribution of specific activities of all required radionuclides, the median values of
226Ra, 232Th and 40K were used to evaluate some related radiological hazard indices
which are annual radionuclide intake (Da), annual effective dose (Deff), total annual
effective dose (Dtotal) and Excess Lifetime Cancer Risk (ELCR). Furthermore, the
results would also be presented and compared to national and international
recommended data. Moreover, it was clearly found that all measured and evaluated
values still save to consumption lesser than recommended data from UNSCEAR.

ABSTRACT
Iron and zinc are important elements for plant and human growth. In this study,
Pathum Thani 1 (PTT1) rice seeds (M3 generation) were studied for isotopic
composition using Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) technique for iron and zinc
concentration. NAA was conducted at Thai Research Reactor (TRR-1/M1). The
samples were divided into two groups (non-irradiated and irradiated with 300 Gy
gamma). SRM 1568a (Rice Flour) was used as the standard to verify iron and zinc
concentration values. The localization of iron and zinc was determined by using
histochemical techniques (determined using Prussian blue staining for iron and
dithizone staining for zinc). The results were statistically analyzed using Python
code. From NAA analysis, zinc was found in all samples while iron was not detected
in some samples. The concentration of iron and zinc that was found in irradiated
seeds were different from non-irradiated seed. Zinc concentration was significantly
increased in irradiated seed. The histochemical results show that iron and zinc were
mostly accumulated in the embryo and aleurone layers. There is no difference
between non-irradiated and irradiated seed.

ABSTRACT
This study simulated the radiation shielding parameters for nickel-based
superalloys: Inconel 600, 718 and 725 superalloys. The partial interactions, mass
attenuation coefficients (m), effective atomic numbers (Zeff), effective electron
densities (Nel), and half value layer (HVL) at photon energies ranging were
estimated theoretically by WinXCom software program. Moreover, buildup factors
(EABF and EBF) were determined using geometrical progression (G-P) fitting
method for energies ranging 0.015-15 MeV at deep penetration 1-40 mfp (mean
free path). Lastly, fast neutron removal cross sections (R) were simulated by
partial density method at energies 2-12 MeV. The results found that nickel-based
superalloys Inconel 725 had excellent radiation shielding. Also, these sample were
compared with some standard concrete too.

ABSTRACT
In this research, a series of (70–x) TeO2: 30BaO: xWO3 glass systems (where x =
10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 mol%) have been simulated in terms of radiation shielding
behaviors. The simulation of mass attenuation coefficients (μm), effective atomic
numbers (Zeff) and effective electron densities (Nel) were calculated by WinXCom
software program at energies ranging from 1 keV–100 GeV. The method of
geometric progression (G–P) fitting have been used to calculate at wide energies
ranging from 15 keV–15 MeV and up to 40 penetration depths (mfp) for buildup
factors: exposure and energy absorption buildup factors (EBF and EABF). The
simulated data reports that WO3 partial replacement of TeO2 in glass system which
increases behavior of radiation attenuation and shown the excellent shielding

ABSTRACT
The market of edible films and coatings has been growing exponentially and
continuously. A gelatin material was selected for the development of edible films in
this research. Plasticizers; glycerol, propylene glycol, PEG400 and PEG4000 were
chosen for comparison. Dehydrothermal treatment (DHT) crosslink process were
used for crosslinking gelatin film. The effect of plasticizers on physical
characteristics, thermal properties and the moisture absorption of crosslinked and
non-crosslinked gelatin films were study. The results showed that the addition of all
plasticizers did not change the color of the gelatin film, except PEG4000. The color
of plasticized crosslinked gelatin films became more yellowish compared to those of
non-crosslinked plasticized gelatin films. In the case of non-plasticized gelatin fim,
Tg and moisture absorption of crosslinked gelatin film was lower than non-
crosslinked gelatin film. The addition of plasticizers affected the moisture absorption
of films.

ABSTRACT
This work presents a facile synthesis of ZnO and barium-doped ZnO (ZnO:Ba) via
precipitation for photocatalytic application. Scanning electron microscope and
transmission electron microscope images showed that both ZnO and ZnO:Ba were
nanoparticles. The ZnO:Ba had lower particle sizes than ZnO around one-half. X-
ray diffraction pattern and selected area electron diffraction pattern analyses revealed
hexagonal wurtzite polycrystalline structures for ZnO and ZnO:Ba. Additional to the
crystal size calculation, the ZnO:Ba had a reduction in crystal sizes. It is well-known
that small sizes can increase the surface-to-volume ratio of ZnO:Ba, which should
suitably promote the reaction rate for photocatalytic application. Moreover, the
existence of surface chemical defects, detected from Fourier-transform infrared
spectroscopy, imply that photocatalytic activity might be accelerated because the
defects also act as interaction centers. ZnO and ZnO:Ba were utilized as
photocatalysts to test the carbaryl degradation under UV irradiation. ZnO:Ba
exhibited a higher degradation rate constant of 17.3410-2 min-1 in comparison with
ZnO (12.4010-2 min-1), indicating that ZnO:Ba had higher photocatalytic
performance than ZnO.

ABSTRACT
The oxidation behavior of reactive DC magnetron sputtered TiN thin films were
investigated under annealing temperature ranging from 400 to 700 oC in the ambient
atmosphere using X-ray diffraction, Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and
Field – emission scanning electron microscopy techniques, respectively. The
oxidation rate and oxidation activation energy of the films were also calculated from
parabolic and Arrhenius relations. The as-deposited film was polycrystalline TiN
structure. After annealing at 450 oC, the TiO2 rutile structure was found in the XRD
spectra and the relative integrated intensity of the oxide phase increased gradually
with temperatures. The EDS analysis was good confirmed the XRD patterns in which
the increase of the O content. The grain growth resulting from grain coalescence
occurred through the annealing temperatures. The cross-sectional analysis showed
that a very thin dense oxide overlayer was present at 400 °C and the oxide thickness
increased gradually with temperatures. Moreover, the films were fully oxidized into
a porous structure after 650 oC. The results reveled that the films showed an oxidation
rate from 400 °C and the oxidation activation energy of films was 156.56 kJ/mol.

XRD and FTIR, respectively. The mechanical, electrical, and electrostrictive
properties of all the samples were also studied. The P(VDF-HFP)/PANI composite
nanofibers exhibit the uniform fibers without any bead formation, high dielectric
constant and electromechanical response. The results indicate that the PANI filler in
P(VDF-HFP) nanofiber can improve the electrostriction behavior attributed to the
crystalline, phase structure, dielectric properties and interfacial charge distributions.
The electrostrictive coefficient increases related to the PANI contents. Moreover,
electrostrictive strain response improve under low electric fields. The above results
provide great possibilities for achieving in actuators, microelectromechanical
systems, sensors based on electrostrictive phenomena.

ABSTRACT
Flexible dielectric films made by polymer composites are considered to be a potential
candidate for the energy conversion and sensors. In this study, poly(vinylidene
fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) P(VDF-HFP) film filled with various mass
fractions (wt%) of calcium chloride salt (CaCl2·xH2O) was prepared through a
solution casting method. Three kinds of CaCl2·xH2O loadings, i.e., CaCl2,
CaCl2·2H2O and CaCl2·6H2O were employed. The detailed structure and properties
of all samples were characterized by inspection of scanning electronic microscopy
(SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
(FT-IR) and x-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), tensile
testing and LCR meter. From the scanned SEM and AFM images, the P(VDF-
HFP)/CaCl2·xH2O composite films exhibit the porous structure on the surface. The
FTIR and XRD spectra confirmed the presence of electroactive -phase on the
composite films in which relative -phase fraction reaches up to 80%. Furthermore,
high dielectric constant is also observed in the P(VDF-HFP)/CaCl2·xH2O composite
films.

ABSTRACT
In this report, we demonstrate the structure, morphological, and optical properties of
BiVO4 nanoparticles doped with different contents of rare earth Erbium (Er) element
prepared by one-step sonochemical process. The structural and morphological
characterization were carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray
diffraction technique (XRD) and Raman spectrometer. X-ray diffraction and Raman
spectra reveal the structural transition from monoclinic to tetragonal structure with
Er. Optical properties of the prepared samples were investigated by diffuse
reflectance technique and the corresponding optical band gaps were calculated by
using Kullbelka-Munk equation. It is found that Er dopant has significant influence
on the change of optical absorption and optical band gap of BiVO4 host material.
Further details of results and discussion will be represented.

ABSTRACT
This paper presents a facile process to fabricate light-guide plate with high intensity
of light from LED based milled silica particles. Silica powder was first prepared via
high energy ball milling process and then distributed in epoxy resin for molding
light-guide plate. Effects of silica powder content embedded in the light-guide plate
on morphology, distribution and optical properties are investigated. The increment
of the silica powder content also leads to the formation of aggregated particles and
decreasing light illuminating intensity. Furthermore, the light guiding mechanism of
the light-guide plate in term of light scattering is proposed when light passes through
the interface of epoxy/silica. Further details of results and discussion will be
presented.

ABSTRACT
The objective of the study was to forecast rainfall from the amount of water vapor in
the air. The relationship between the upper air data and the surface data from 2005
to 2018 was used to create a mathematical model at the same station to determine
the amount of water vapor. The findings indicated that, the relationship has a
relatively high level of reliability, the correlation coefficient was 0.891. The amount
of water vapor from upper air data nearly was equal to the value from the model. The
difference in the root mean square error was 0.428 cm. The results showed that the
rainfall is related to the amount of water vapor in the air in mathematical models
which are different for each region. The models were tested with an independent data
set for 2019. It was found that the monthly average rainfall from the model were
consistent with the measured values, which are not significantly different at the level
of 0.05. The root mean square error was 43.62 mm. The correlation coefficient was
0.841.

ABSTRACT
Reversible thermochromic inorganic materials have recently attracted tremendous
attentions due to their durable, reversible, and controllable temperature-responsive
color-change behaviors. These materials are normally used in temperature-indicating
applications that requires a reversible sharp visual color change. Garnet structures
have been reported as a host structure for reversible intermediate-to-high temperature
thermochromic materials. However, most of them are based on rare-earth garnets or
an expensive Ga-based garnet such as Y3Fe5O12, Ca14Zn6Ga10O35, and Sm3Fe5O12.
In this research, we reported the thermochromic behavior of Ca14Zn6Al10-xMnxO35 (x
= 0, 0.5,1.0, 1.5, 2) garnet structure prepared by a high-temperature solid-state
reaction method. The effects of Mn content and calcination temperatures were
investigated. Thermochromism of all samples showed gradual tunability of color.
However, the optimal thermochromic performance was observed for Ca14Zn6Al10-
xMnxO35 samples with x = 0.5 and 1 and sintering temperature of 1200°C. The
resultant samples showed the reversible change in color from green to pink at around
400-500°C, which was due to the co-contribution of Mn4+ and Mn5+ in the tetrahedral
sites.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to study the effect of Sb2O3 addition on the properties of BaTiO3
ceramics. The ceramic powders were synthesized by the mixed oxide method using
BaCO3 and TiO2 as starting materials, and the Sb2O3 was added with x wt% (x= 0-
2). These mixing powders were calcined at 1200 °C for 4 hours with heating/cooling
rates of 5 °C/min. Then, the ceramics were prepared from these ceramic powders by
solid-state sintering. The ceramic powders were molded into pellets and sintered at
1250 °C for 4 hours with heating/cooling rates of 5 °C/min. The crystal structure and
microstructure of all samples were investigated by X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and
scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The density and dielectric constant of
ceramics were investigated by Archimedes immersion technique and LCR meter.
Results indicated that the ceramic powders showed pure BaTiO3 phase with
tetragonal structure (JCPDS no. 05-0626). While Sb2O3 additions affect the
overlapping of (002) and (200) peaks of the BaTiO3 structure and the decreasing of
particle size of ceramic powders Both bulk densities and dielectric constants at 10
kHz of ceramics showed the highest values at 0.4 wt% of Sb2O3 addition.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this work was to analyze the effect of using rice husk ash and shell as
raw materials glass-ceramic based on the SiO2-Na2O-CaO-P2O5 system on physical,
mechanical properties and bioactivity. All of the investigated compositions were
prepared by melting at 1300C. The resulting glass samples were heated at different
temperatures ranging from 800 to 1000C with fixed dwell-time for 2 h. The
crystalline phases were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning
electron microscope (SEM) techniques. Differential thermal analysis (DTA) showed
that the glass transition occurred at 500C. The main crystalline phase is a sodium
calcium silicate. The optimum heat treatment temperature, at which the maximum
mechanical value could be obtained, is around 1000C.

ABSTRACT
In this work, Zn1-xMnxO (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) nanoparticles were successfully
synthesized by a precipitation method. Their nanostructures were characterized by
X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission
electron microscopy (TEM), and Gas absorption techniques. Additionally, the
electrochemical behavior of the electrodes was performed in 3 M aqueous KOH
solution using cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) and
electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The influence of the Mn-doping on
their nanostructures and electrochemical properties was investigated. The increasing
of the Mn content can affect nanostructures and electrochemical properties of the
electrodes. Therefore, the Mn-doped ZnO nanoparticles can be considered as a good
candidate for development as electrode materials in the energy storage applications.

ABSTRACT
Electroactive polymer thin films have gained tremendous attention from researchers
worldwide due to their excellent piezoelectric, pyroelectric, ferroelectric, and
dielectric properties. In this study, the poly (vinylidene fluoride-
hexafluoropropylene) P(VDF-HFP) film is facilely prepared by the solution casting
technique. The effect of aluminum nitrate nonahydrate (Al(NO3)3·9H2O) on the
crystalline phase and dielectric behavior of P(VDF-HFP) composite films is
systematically investigated. Experimental results founded that the P(VDF-HFP)
composite films exhibit the micro-pores structure on the top surface. Addition of the
Al(NO3)3·9H2O filler is found to enhance the electroactive phase by about 20%.
Furthermore, the dielectric constants of pure P(VDF-HFP) and P(VDF-HFP)/1.5
wt.% Al(NO3)3·9H2O films are derived as 8 and 28, respectively. These results
indicate that the Al(NO3)3·9H2O hydrated salt acts as the nucleation agent to produce
the crystallization of the phase resulted in improved dielectric constant in P(VDF-
HFP) composite films.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to evaluate the tannin compounds extraction from the fresh
banana peel and investigate the optimal condition of using the banana peel extraction
as a biomordant in the dyeing process of cotton fabrics with marigold flower dye .
The cotton fabrics were dye with banana peel extraction by pre-mordanting, meta-
mordanting and post-mordanting methods. In the case of meta-mordanting, the ratios
of mordant to the dye solution were also varied. Thee colour strength (K/S), the wash
fastness and the light fastness of the control fabric and the dyed fabrics were also
inspected. It was found the optimum condition for tannin extraction from the fresh
banana peel was at 90C for 60 minutes. When dyeing cotton fabrics with marigold
flower dye by the pre-mordanting and post-mordanting method, the optimal
mordanting condition was achieved at 60C, 120 minutes as the dyed showed the
highest K/S value .However, the optimal condition of the meta-mordanting was
showed at 30C and the K/S of the dyed fabrics were also influenced by the ratio of
the mordant to the dye solution .The wash fastness and light fastness of the dyed
cotton fabric were improved, especially, the post-mordanting method .

ABSTRACT
ZnO thin films were successfully coated on fluorine-doped tin oxide substrates using
the co-preparing technique of electrolysis and thermal oxidation. Firstly, a zinc metal
layer was deposited on the substrate by electrolysis of zinc nitrate aqueous solutions
for different deposition times. Then, the metal layer was oxidized to transform as
ZnO thin films by thermal oxidation at 450 C under ambient air pressure. Finally, a
post-treatment of the film was performed by calcination a furnace at 500 C. X-ray
diffraction patterns of ZnO thin films indicate the hexagonal wurtzite structure.
Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy results confirm chemical structure of the
film is ZnO without residue. The average optical transmittance values in the visible
region are over 80%. The calculated band gap energy is in the range of 3.13 - 3.43
eV. The four-point probe measurement reveals various sheet resistance values of
165.48 - 666.51 /sq. For electro-optics property evaluation, the optical
transmittance and sheet resistance values were considered to calculate the figure of
merit. It is found that the highest value reaches 2.7810−3 −1, which indicates that
ZnO thin films have a potential application for electro-optics devices.

ABSTRACT
A large amount of waste dust is produced from finishing processes such as shaping
planning, and cutting in cement wood manufacturing. This waste, which usually is
in dust form, causes the higher cost of cement wood products by waste disposal
regulations and it needs to be reduced. In this study, the cement wood waste dust
addition was applied to the cement wood composite production. The characteristics
of the cement wood waste dust were carried out via Scanning Electron Microscope
(SEM) and X-Ray Diffraction Technique (XRD). The effect of the cement wood
waste dust on the cement wood composite mechanical properties were investigated
by MOR and Compressive test. It was found that the cement wood waste dust
consists of calcium hydroxide, calcite, calcium silicate hydrate, and cellulose.
Furthermore, the small amount addition of the cement wood waste dust could
improve the mechanical properties of the cement wood composites and the further
cement wood waste dust addition would decrease both MOR and compressive
strength.

ABSTRACT
This study focuses on an enhancement dielectric and electrostrictive properties of
Poly (vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene), P(VDF-HFP) nanofibers added
with conductive polymer polyaniline (PANI). The composites nanofibers were
fabricated by electrospinning method with 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 3 and 5 wt% PANI. The
surface morphology, crystallinity and phase structure were investigated by SEM,
XRD and FTIR, respectively.

ABSTRACT
Failure of the CMOS Schmitt-trigger inverter open-fault and capacitor open-fault in
the case of a CMOS Schmitt-trigger inverter oscillator circuit will cause a self-
fluctuation of the device causing the high-frequency to be emitted on the output side.
Because the balance of internal latent capacitance and smaller capacitance
approximately 5-20 pF. In this article present, the risk reduction of Failure of the
CMOS Schmitt-trigger inverter open-fault and capacitor open-fault in the case of a
CMOS Schmitt-trigger inverter oscillator circuit is presented by adding a capacitor
between Gate pin and Drain pin of Q1 by illusion of equivalent circuit. Which causes
the internal latent capacitance unbalance, so that it does not cause self-oscillation in
the case of input open-fault, and in the case of a oscillator circuit, the feedback
resistor is not combined with the internal latent capacitance, but is combined with
the add capacitance, so that the higher frequency self-fluctuation does not occur. The
circuit was tested with a computer simulation program and experimental circuit.

ABSTRACT
This paper presents the design of an FIR filter applied to a procedural speech
recognition system using a vector machine supported classification technique. By
testing with the vowel recognition in the Thai language it is also possible to compare
the precision results of the speech recognition. By adjusting the frame size, time and
the overlap time of the signal filtering with the window function. The characteristics
were determined for 1 to 3 frequency recognition. The results of the experiment
demonstrated that the Thai language vowel recognition using a vector-machine-
supported classification algorithm was used this In comparison to filter applications,
the window function yielded different precision values, and it was found that the
adaptive filter FIR yielded the accuracy, but was similar to that of other functions.
However, the adaptive filter FIR was found to be of good fidelity in both long and
short vowels.

ABSTRACT
Since graphene which possesses ultra-high carrier mobility due to its Dirac
semimetal state was insightfully characterized in 2004, other members of Dirac
semimetals have been extensively investigated to extend this class of materials for
new emerging application. Among all the experimentally and theoretically
discovered Dirac semimetals, TiB2 and ZrB2 are the promising two-dimensional
(2D) materials as they exhibit Dirac cone and Dirac point at Fermi level, leading to
very high carrier mobility. In this work, ternary 2D materials TiZrB4 has been
proposed as a novel 2D Dirac materials. The material's 2D structure has been
designed by transform the TiB2 and ZrB2 's hexagonal unit cell to orthorhombic
system. Thus, number of atoms in the unit cell is double and allows Ti and Zr atoms
to be placed in the same layer. Using density functional theory calculation as
implemented in Quantum-Espresso package, our designed 2D structure of TiZrB4
was clarified to be dynamically stable. The obtained results indicate that the 2D
TiZrB4 is metallic even though both TiB2 and ZrB2 are semimetals. However, by
applying uniaxial strain of 4% in x-direction (zigzag direction of boron honeycomb),
the 2D TiZrB4 becomes Dirac semimetal. Therefore, a strain-induced metal-to-
semimetal transition has been observed in this materials. In addition, the negative
Poisson’s ratio was found in the wide ranges of strain imposed in y-direction
(armchair direction of boron honeycomb). The 2D structure design method used in
this work might be considered as a strategy of how to obtain a novel Dirac semimetal
with unusual and superior properties, which will be applicable for new emerging
technologies, such as high-energy-density and low-cost alkaline-ion battery.

ABSTRACT
Business operations are looking for a way to reduce their costs as much as possible.
At the same time, they are trying to satisfy their customer as much as possible as
well. Furthermore, finding the best route for transporting goods and raw materials is
also another quest that business operations are seeking to achieve. Therefore, this
paper aims to study and develop a vehicle routing system for a case where vehicles
travel to destinations without return. This paper will try to determine the best routes
using both the Greedy Algorithm and Excel Solver (Microsoft Excel). Many
scenarios have been created to test the two methods. Namely, goods must be
transported from the starting city to the destination city. Between the two, there are
other cities that the vehicle must pass. The number of passing-by cities are varied
from 2 to 10 cities, and in each case, the connection of the cities and the distance
between them are randomized to create ‘5’ maps. Therefore, there are in total 45
scenarios (9 cases with 5 maps each). The finding shows that the routes provided by
Excel Solver has equal to or shorter distance than the routes provided by Greedy
Algorithm. On the average, the distance of the routes from Excel Solver is shorter
by 5.77%.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays plastic pollution is becoming a threat for the creatures of the world. In
Nakhon Si Thammarat, the amount of plastic waste is 42687 ton/year and for this
reason it is important to control plastic usage. For doing this, we need to know
peoples’ daily plastic usage. In this study, we prepared questionnaire and asked 300
people about their daily plastic usage (i.e., types and numbers of plastic products).
The people were categorized by their sex (male/female), age (young/old) and
occupation (student/housewife/farmer/Government officer/seller/cleaner/Songtaew
driver). We observed that people used plastic bags, glasses, straws, boxes,
styrofoams, spoons, food-packages, and bottles. However, plastic bags were used the
most (P<0.05). Usage of different types of plastic products was not different between
sexes (P>0.05). On the other hand, young people used more glasses, straws, boxes,
spoons, and food packages than old people (P<0.05). Among people from different
occupations, students and Govt. officers used more glasses, straws, boxes, spoon,
and food packages than other occupational groups (P<0.05). This study shows that
sex does not but the age, and occupation of people affect their daily plastic usage.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to 1) design and construct a variable speed electric roaster
prototype for development of paddy roasting method for Khao-Mao production of
Khao-Mao community of Ban Nong Phak Top in Nakhon Phanom province and 2)
study the effectiveness of the variable speed electric roaster prototype. The
participatory action research (PAR) was completed with Khao-Mao community
technicians of Ban Nong Phak Top, Phon Sawan District, Nakhon Phanom Province.
Research procedures comprised data collection of the construction and the
performance testing of the paddy roaster prototype. It was showed that the prototype
reduced the labor time of stirring by 85.7% compared to the labor-based or traditional
roasting and also reduces the roasting time from 56 minutes to 40 minutes for 4
rounds of roasting, resulting in 28.6% faster roasting, could reduce estimated labor
cost 3,300 baht/month/person. The physical properties of roasted paddy and Khao-
Mao obtained from the prototype and traditional method such as moisture, Water
Activity (aw), color and texture, provide corresponding values. After evaluating
acceptance using the 9-point Hedonic scale method, the Khao-Mao community was
more satisfied with color, smell, taste and texture of the Khao-Mao obtained from
traditional roasting. However, the acceptance and satisfaction level of the community
to the prototype was found to be at the highest level. This research result will lead to
the expansion of the credibility towards the Khao Mao community of Ban Nong Phak
Top and neighboring communities, causing the spread of innovation created by
community technicians.

ABSTRACT
Public health profession Has developed more concrete profession by the provisions
of the law, which is the Community Public Health Professions Act, BE 2556 in this
way. In fact, there are still some problems that need to be developed in accordance
with the professional role of the profession. Public health context where the focus is
"health promotion and disease prevention" on the standards Professions still have a
problem of role conflicts that overlap with other health professions. And build
acceptance in both health professions To facilitate the work Equilibrium between the
public health professions together (Wasin Phiphatanachat, 2016) Thailand The
public health profession has evolved over the centuries. First established in 1942, in
the early stages there was only work in midwifery and sanitation. And the work
context has been increased With an emphasis on health promotion and disease
prevention objectives Especially during the year 1988, there was an initiative in
primary health, making the mission of public health scholars comprehensive. Health
risk factors both inside and outside the person have increased, such as nutrition,
hygiene education, environmental health. Oral hygiene, mental health, family health
and accidents, etc., and in the latter, additional medical care and rehabilitation
missions of patients in primary care units have been increased. As a result, the public
health profession has more missions, especially in areas where there is a shortage of
doctors and nurses circulating in the area (Wasin Phiphatanachat, 2016). And plays
an important role in the district hospital and health promoting hospital Monitoring
the situation of distribution of health workforce between regions It is an issue of
equality in access to health services. Especially the equality between areas with
different economic conditions, such as between Bangkok and the Northeast. There
is also an issue of distribution of the health workforce between service levels. In
particular, the distribution of doctors between different hospital levels. And issues of
impact on the workload of the health workforce Especially doctors That care for
outpatients and inpatients during different levels of hospital Health workforce
distribution Between regions It consists of 6 personnel: doctors, dentists,
pharmacists, professional nurses, technical nurses and personnel working at the
Tambon Health Promoting Hospital (SSO) (National Health Development Plan No.
12, 2019) from the data on the personnel capacity in public health facilities. In
Chaiyaphum In the primary care unit of 2018, it was found that public health scholars
115
/ community health officials who should have 598, but there are only 304 people, of
which 294 are absent, and compared with all primary care personnel, 665 are
considered to be public health scholars / 46% of all health personnel in primary care
units (Chaiyaphum Province Public Health, 2018)
The current public health profession is a profession that emphasizes the
practice of health promotion, prevention and disease control. And among those who
perform duties in the sub-district health promotion hospital There are also additional
missions in the area of primary care, first aid and rehabilitation, where those who
work in the field The public health professions in all institutions must learn the theory
and practice of knowledge. Concepts and practice these skills. To prepare for the
assigned work The graduates of this profession are able to work throughout the
region in the primary care unit. Health Promotion Department in hospitals at the
secondary and tertiary levels. District Health Office Provincial Health Office Or in
central departments in various departments according to graduate fields such as
environmental health Family health, community health, epidemiology, biostatistics,
nutrition, health education, etc. However, the field of occupational health and safety.
There have been previous attempts to differentiate their professionalism from
Professional health (Insights into the health system, 2016)
Roles and responsibilities of public health scholars Which can be categorized
into 5 areas: health system administration Public health research The organization of
public health information system Academic services, academic advising Personnel

health promoting hospitals. The position of public health scholar is a position that
the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) has set up a framework for community health
centers since 1994, the roles and duties of public health scholars (Feb.) have been
established. It consists of 4 areas, which have roles as follows. 1) The role of

ABSTRACT
Calculate the velocity of a motorcycle while driving with animations from a mobile
phone video file. Test for motorcycle velocities of 40, 60, and 80 km/h. Record
movies with video from a mobile phone 2 positions: high angle and perpendicular
angle of movement. Convert video files into image files and count the number of
frames on all 3 levels. It was found that the image from the high-angle camera on the
floating bridge can find frame rate values equal to 36, 23, and 17, and the permanent
angle camera with frame rate movements of 25, 15 and 11. Calculate road distance
speed and compare it to Google Earth distance. Experiments showed that because of
the high-angle camera tolerances from the floating bridge, there were fewer
tolerances than cameras present to movement. the location of the camera mounting
distance affects the calculation of the speed of the motorcycle.

ABSTRACT
This evaluation research evaluated education program in Retail Business Management,
which established under Work Integrated Learning concept and under the collaboration
between Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University (MCRU) and CP All Public Company
Limited (CP All PCL). Specifically, objectives of the study were: 1) to examine policy,
objectives, goals, and mechanisms set up to implement the program; 2) to find out how
implementation of the program was done, including its problems and difficulties; 3) to
investigate if the stated objectives and goals have been achieved so far; 4) to provide
recommendations useful to fine-tune the program to make it more efficient. Combination of
document analysis, interview and focus group of program implementers and stakeholders
were used to collect and assemble the data.
Evaluation results revealed the followings.
1) The education program has been established since 2006 under the collaboration between
MCRU and CP All PCL to carry out graduate employability policy by involving
employment sector to collaborate with educational institute in managing education program.
The main objective was to offer the 4-years Business Administration Bachelor Degree
Program in Marketing to produce graduates in retail business management that their
qualifications can not only conform to the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher
Education (TQF: HEd) but can also meet expectations of modern retailing business
employers. The goal was students could be employed once graduated. To accomplish the
objective and goal, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) concept was adopted, designed, and
implemented by cross mechanisms structure from MCRU and Public Affair Coordination
Office, Department of Human Resource Management, CP All PCL. Implementation of the
program can be seen as an integration of 2 vital parts of the WIL concept, work and learning.
120
Formally planned and clarified in the form of curriculum, an academic year consisted of two
– six months semesters. Each semester students enrolled had to register to attend classroom
teaching at MCRU for three months and had gone to work at CP All CPL for three months.
Under supervision of CP All CPL while working, students also received work site visits and
supervision from MCRU supervisors. Completion of this 4 years - bachelor degree required
students to accomplish the work – learning structure without having long semester break.
2) Since academic year 2005, there were 125 students enrolled into the program, within
which 30 were graduated, 31 were dropped out and the rest are still studying. Problems or
difficulties were found in input, process and output aspects of the program. Problem of input
was amount of students enrolled into the program in each semester was lower than target
and the problem was bigger with a crucial amount of them were dropped out during studying.
Problem of process was mainly on coordination for working together among related parties.
Problem in the aspect of output was qualification of graduates could not meet all competency
indicators required by employers.
3) Considering an achievement of the program, the study found that number of students
enrolled to study under the program was lower than target goal in every academic year. For
those enrolled, however, they could earn wage money of 9 , 4 0 0 – 11,000 Baht per month
during work period, the amount of money they could not earn if enrolled into ordinary
curriculums. On the aspect of graduate qualifications, graduates got highest level score of 5
from assessment conducted by authority for the TQF: HEd and got a medium level in
working capacity from assessment conducted by working supervisors. However, when
consider an employment goal, all 30 graduated students (100 %), although 3 of them
graduated later than the groups, could be recruited into CP All Public Company Limited. In
the aspect of human resource development, staff of both parties and students have been
subjected to attend or participate in training programs, meetings or seminar sessions, and
contest activities at least 3 times each semester.
4) Recommendations to fine-tune the program are as follows. 1) Specific strategies to be
able to outreach student target groups, high school guidance staff, parents and community
leaders to introduce the program must be initiated in addition to what have been done under
university guidance program. 2) Both parties examine to build more help and support
channels for students to decrease the dropping out rate. Developing positive attitude toward
the WIL should also be partly done in classroom teaching. 3) Both parties must create more
channels to facilitate working relationship and communication. 4) Student competency
evaluation procedure must be improved to cover real working circumstances and once any
discrepancy of student competency from employer expectations does exist, the issue must
be informed for finding immediate and correct solutions.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to develop a task designed to help pre-service teachers prepare themselves
to anticipate student difficulties in the analysis of scientific data. We have conducted the
study through a methodology for investigating pre-service teachers performance on both
pedagogical content knowledge—knowledge of student ideas and physics content
knowledge—analysis of experimental results from arithmetic mean or graph plotting in a
specific topic of gravity. The experimental group consisted of 33 pre-service teachers
enrolled in program of general science, faculty of education, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat
University. The instrument used in this study was a worksheet for an experiment to
determine the magnitude of the Earth's gravitational acceleration in Bangkok. The results
presented that our work provides pre-service teachers with help to anticipate student
response; in particular, seeking of answers in a variety of ways contributes a better
understanding of where the student's answers come from. We highlighted the advantage of
this work that encountering alternative ways of thinking and understanding of students might
affect the views and roles of pre-service teachers on students in the classroom.
