41 4.3. POST PRODUCTION The post-production process is the final step in creating a film, and it is split into two main parts: digital and print. The digital aspect involves creating video trailers and teasers for the short documentary, as well as the final edited version of the film. On the other hand, the print aspect includes designing promotional items and poster. This final stage of post-production can be quite costly, especially when it comes to the print materials. Students often need to search for a store that can provide the necessary items for this part of the process. The first item in the post-production process is the digital teaser. This teaser is a short clip taken from the full video for marketing purposes. In the realm of advertising and marketing, teasers are used to generate interest and curiosity about a product, service, or upcoming event. They are designed to create anticipation and excitement without giving away too much information. FIGURE 4.3.1: Teaser

51 CHAPTER FIVE CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION 5.1 CONCLUSION This research shows graffiti art as a term refers to images or text painted usually onto buildings, typically using spray paint. Other than that, graffiti is a form of visual communication, usually illegal, involving the unauthorized marking of public space by an individual or group. Although the common image of graffiti is a stylistic symbol or phrase spray-painted on a wall by a member of a street gang, some graffiti is not gang-related. Graffiti can be understood as antisocial behaviors performed in order to gain attention or as a form of thrill seeking, but it also can be understood as an expressive art form. Each 5th semester students of diploma in media digital must choose a majoring. I have selected video production as my major, which consists of three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. I decided to create a brief documentary focusing on graffiti artists in Malaysia for my final year project because each element serves a distinct purpose, collectively enhancing our comprehension and appreciation for the art of graffiti. This project was a bit challenging for me but for my own good and to grow my knowledge. Furthermore, to share valuable and useful insights to educate people and to give some inspiration. As the documentary sector continues to expand quickly and uncover the distinctive and impactful methods through which documentaries are able to educate at the same time can entertain to target audiences.

52 While in the process of making graffiti art that shows the enthusiasm and commitment of the graffiti artists, this documentary demonstrates graffiti should be expressive and the creativity with limitless ideas. This provides for the audiences to gain inspiration, appreciation and knowledge the value of the artwork and dedication of the artists that includes history and cultural of the context that has more behind to it. In addition, the peak of this documentary variety of topics that graffiti has the ability to portray this documentary able to cultivate a sense of belonging and acknowledge their artwork. Eventually, with the documentary that able to provide such impact and not just a mere documentary; it provides the powerful of documentary and how creativity can bring a far better way to life that inspire and much more. While making this documentary that showcase a multiple of advantages and a few of disadvantages to reflect on. The documentary's reach and audience engagement might be limited due to the subject matters. These subject matters might not receive wide audience but it serves main purpose. Graffiti art is easy to make but the process and to identify and creating your own style of graffiti to make it appealing might be hard because it’s not just a mere writing on walls. Nevertheless, a high-quality documentary on graffiti art can still make a strong impression on its audience.

53 5.2 RECOMMENDATION Based on the findings and conclusion of the study, here are several recommendations to be considered: 1. Provide educational insightful of information that include history, cultural and impact of graffiti. Additionally, provide context and the dedication and passion of the artist’s artwork in order to receive appreciation from the audience. 2. Create a thorough plan to market and reach out to the appropriate audience for the documentary. This includes street art lovers, people with hobbies and people who’s trying to pursue their hobbies as their job. 3. Pay careful attention to cinematography, lighting, noise and editing to show the artwork. It is also important to consider adding subtitles or translations to cater to viewers from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. 4. Ensure the documentary can be easily accessed by a large number of people by making it available on different platforms like streaming services, online channels, exhibition and any other alternatives. 5. Included other graffiti artists but have the main artist to storytelling, styles, background and to provide information about graffiti in hope of this inclusivity will not only enhance the viewers' appreciation of the art form but also attract a more diverse audience.
