It makes me emotional every time I see these
photographs as I can relate to what I wanted to achieve.
Since birth it was my passion to do creative stuff but
couldn’t figure out what I should do exactly.
As I grew, my mind constantly shifted from one thing to
another (Fashion Designer, Arts & Painting, Makeup Artist,
3D Artist, & so on)
But now I can relate to the essence of everything together
i.e., creativity..
And this led to my first trial into 3D makeup art.

Meet our Budding Poets@Resdev
Once upon a time, I lost myself
in a place, which I saw in my dreams.
The place where fog is thick and threads through the seams of
street lights and streetcars.
I tell you I lost myself in the tongue of insanity who
gulped my soul to feed its humanity.
I lost myself
in a city that found me;
The people, the people, the people.
What can’t be said about the near million faces sleeping
on warm pillows or cold stones,
wearing top hats & expensive dresses because
not every night are people thriving
But they’re still surviving, getting busy living or getting busy dying.
In their eyes are stories being told
once you wipe those windows into their souls, deep.
You see it all,
Just like every star in the fall when the sun goes to sleep.
I gave a homeless man a dollar who gave it to another homeless man who then gave it back to me
Like we were passing a love note that said, “You need this more than me.”
So which of us was the one without the home?
Home I soon found in the art of every step taken,
one foot in front of the next.
I can’t walk through that city discounting the side effects.
I was drunk,
but not from bottles or cans
I was drunk from the hands that
told tales with graffiti art to camera pans.
and countless other melodies massaging
bricks into the landmarks that spanned.
Culture sprinkling up and down the hills and between the cracks
Painting colors in the sky as the rainbows stacked,
Finding pots of gold by merely lifting my eyelids back.
There is so much to say about this city in the bay,
that is held in place by the people of race
and the vessels of art that encompass in its space
like stories and attitude,
survival and gratitude,
muse and expression
in delight or depression.
I tell you I lost myself in that city.
But I know now that being lost is sometimes the only way to be truly found.

As dark as moonless night, our dear holy might
Curly haired, lotus eyed, has a flute by his side
As frangrant as sandal wood, on his left leg he stood
Yellow attire bright, peakcock feature on forehead, is a sight
Enchanting are his hyms of flute, mesmerizes the entire route
The illuminous, steals and lies, dissolves us in his eyes
Spreads a kind of love, we keep yearning for
The magic he spreads, we keep looking for
The god of love, makes u dance on his musical songs
Forgeting, the world, the rights and the wrongs
Son of yashoda and beloved of radha
The bearer of flute, lord kanha

~Mast Magan~
In the world full of people falling in and out of love, Mast Magan is an amazing
love track showcasing sweet and tender love between Krish and Ananya.
The song truly depicts that love is not only restricted to dating but it is more of
being together at the times of need.
Being able to be together and endure what all comes your way makes your
love udoubtly more intense and lasting.
The song beautifully exhibits a fully grown love which yearns acceptance.
~हो शीश-महल ना मुझको सुहाए
तुझ संग सुखी रोटी भाए
मन मस्त मगन
मन मस्त मगन
बस तेरा नाम दोहराए~
This aphorism made me realize that having the right person by your side is
what all we need and it's adequate too.
The idea of no matter what, I'll Stay, actually restores one's faith in true love
and potrays the Love that lasts forever.
The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells
Published: 1897
Genres: Classic, Science Fiction
Review: - I really liked the writing in The Invisible Man, but I thought the
storytelling was awful. H. G. Wells has a way with words and I really enjoyed
his turn of phrase. Phrases like “the inhuman bludgeoning of all tentative
advances of curiosity (p. 19),”violently firing out its humanity (p. 33)” and “The
Anglo-Saxon genius for parliamentary government asserted itself; there was
a great deal of talk and no decisive action (p. 28).” And he uses the word
“hobbledehoy” which had the Downton Abbey fangirl in me grinning. But the
story itself moved at a snail pace. It took me a week to read 30 pages.
I thought it was told from the least interesting perspective possible –from the
outside observers instead of the invisible man’s view and what he was
struggling with.
These outsiders noticed something was not quite right (“Look how much time
he spends alone!”) but not to the point that I found it very interesting. When
the plot finally picked up, instead of some much needed action the cool stuff
was recapped in a conversation where he just describes all the action in the
dullest way imaginable. I had to make myself finish this book and keep
pencils far, far away from my eyes.
The science behind the invisibility was pretty interesting. It was based on the
idea that our world is an illusion of light. I thought that was a fascinating way
to look at the world. (See I didn’t hate everything about it).
I found the main character interesting if not likable. He’s an anti-hero. I’m
pretty sure his antagonist was all the stupid people in the whole world. He was
kind of arrogant. Obviously he learns the bad things about invisibility. I was
surprised about the little things that he struggles with, though. I could tell a
lot of thought went into what it would really be like. For example, the fact that
he can’t sleep because his eyelids are invisible. The crappy thing about being
invisible is that it’s easy to get things, but hard to enjoy them. And you get
kind of lonely. H. G. Wells did have a good point that the only really good use
for invisibility is murder.
I’m not sure if I was supposed to get something out of this book. At the end I
felt like the moral was “Mean people suck but it’s better than being alone.”
Overall, I found it tedious but the writing was good. I enjoyed War of the
Worlds so much more.

To break the monotony and to dance away
the pandemic stress, privilege team
decided to recharge themselves by
organizing a virtual dance party through

them lift up team spirit and togetherness
along with getting motivated towards work

“We never knew a pandemic would impact our way

Still, we changed the course & met, which made us
all feel so refreshing after so long. The room was full

our meal together, shared laughs, spoke about a lot
of interesting topics and finally wrapped up to meet
again. Office or party? Well, let’s leave it to the time

Fundoo Friday
“Fundoo Friday Events” is a series of tasks/fun activities to tell
how we are living our core value of fun during these testing
times. Whilst we Work from Home, we also made sure of Work,
Fun and Home.
Friday is mostly considered as fun day and the ResDev Team did
not let go the legacy of Fundoo Friday at home. Our team
participated in MS Teams for the Fundoo Friday Event, which this
week was “Dumb Charades”.
Dressing up in exuberant “Black & White” Dress-code and with
active participants from all the people in the event, we guessed
the name of movie & words while one of us acted it very
entertainingly. We hope to organize & participate more of these
events in coming months to encourage team bonding while
being away from each other.
