The situation experienced by the impression of a water crisis in Malaysia
6
Causes of the water crisis in Malaysia
Deforestation in water catchment areas
Weather phenomena such as drought and El-Nino
Malaysia's rivers are heavily polluted due to waste and industrial
waste
High demand from the industrial sector (ex: factory)
The use of chemical and pesticides in agriculture
An increase in population causes the demand for water to increase
7
Water-saving Control waste Replacement of
campaign disposal, logging old pipes to avoid
Advancing the source activities and water wastage
of soil water is forest exploration due to pipe leaks
because it is easy and Measures can be
cheap to use taken to address the
shortage of water
supply in an area
Cloud seeding to
produce artificial

catchment areas

THE AVERAGE WATER CONSUMPTION IN MY HOUSE Pelajar TIDAK PERLU
SALIN SLIDE INI!!!
EXAMPLE:
1
1
1 . Water usage/Penggunaan air (m³)
= 1218-1197
= 21.00
22
2 . 20.6660 m³ X RM 0.80 = RM 16.53
0.3340 m³ X RM 2 = RM 0.67
3 . Current water charge amount /
Jumlah caj air semasa
3 RM 16.53+RM0.67 = RM17.20

*The water bill must
be 2 months in row
Is there water wastage happens in my house? Choose A or B
A. Yes because the water usage in February exceeded January by …….
m³ (Feb – Jan = ? m³) 10
B. No because the water usage in February is less than January
(Jan - Feb= ? m³)
