- - - Immersed into dream and a world of memories and longing, I find the delicacy in everything that surrounds me. The ephemeral in nature holds everything: life, death, the passage of time; it reveals its strength and sensitivity. I'm fascinated by its imperfect beauty, simplicity and harmony; its textures, organic shapes, and subtleties. Combining design and artistic process I transform materials through experimentation, capturing the sensitive, leading to the unpredictable. Intuitively, by repeating small elements, each piece comes to life, grows. I explore the interaction between the jewel and its wearer, their corporal, intimate and emotional bonds. Through the fragile, ethereal and vulnerable, intimacy becomes immediate and conscious: in the way they are worn, contemplated, cared and felt unique and present.
Broken
Only when the piece breaks we have the opportunity to complete our knowledge about it. Fracture reveals us the fragility of materials and the interior nature of objects. Contemporary jewelry as a vehicle to curiosity, discovery, contemplation, acceptance and reassessment.
Each piece is unique, the result of a long craftsmanship process, which begins with the collection of branches. After drying, they are immersed several times into a handmade colored paper clay porcelain. I construct, break and reconstruct in an attempt to highlight the beauty of imperfection of broken edges and discover the inner layers.
