THAI STYLE ROTI

"ROTI – NST"

If anyone has visited Nakhon Si Thammarat or 04
resided in Nakhon Si Thammarat, you must never
miss a taste. Roti is considered a popular dish in YUMMY! | JAN 2020 | ISSUE 01
Nakhon Si Thammarat that is liked by people of all
ages from kids, teens, to adults. I am a citizen of
Nakhon Si Thammarat and have tried many types of
Roti in many restaurants, so I would like to share my
experience on delicious and interesting Roti that I
have ever had.

Columnists: Soraya Kongchuay

First of all, tissue roti, is THAI STYLE YUMMY! | JAN 2020 | ISSUE 01
ROTI
very strange and interesting
by its name. It is a thin crispy 05
sheet like tissue paper,
almost as large as A4, ROTI
sprinkled with sweetened @NST
condensed milk and sugar.
However, the taste is not too
sweet.

Secondly, Roti Mataba

is an Arab food that is made
of Roti flour, soft, sticky, and
stuffed with stir fry chicken
with various ingredients.
Eaten with dipping sauce to
cut the greasy flavor, Roti is a
perfect combination
between savory and sweet
food. However, this menu
may not be suitable for
children as it has some spicy
ingredients.

Finally, Roti Lava looks

interesting, isn't it?  The roti
flour is wrapped in a large
amount of butter and then
fried until crispy.  Roti will
swell like a balloon, and the
butter inside will melt.  To
eat this type of Roti, you have
to drill the roti sheet so that
the lava from the butter
flows out like a volcanic lava.
Topped with condensed
milk and sugar,  this menu is
especially for people who
like butter.  Children like it
because it looks interesting.

THAI STYLE ROTI:
"ROTI – NST"

Roti restaurants in Nakhon Si Thammarat 06
are not difficult to find at all.  Two big, old
restaurants are “Roti Pa Nom” and "Nam Cha YUMMY! | JAN 2020 | ISSUE 01

ancestors.  These restaurants have expanded to
many branches especially in Nakhon Si
Thammarat city. As you know, if, at any night,
we want to sip tea and eat Roti, these two
places are our destinations.
