ประวัติความเปน็ มา

ธนาคารโลกได้จัดโครงการเงินกู้เพ่ือพัฒนาการจัดการศึกษาทางด้าน
วิทยาศาสตร์และวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ (USEEP) ให้แก่มหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ ในปี
พ.ศ. 2544 โดยคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ได้นางบประมาณมา
จัดซ้ือครุภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์เพ่ือใช้ในการเรียนการสอน และต่อมาในปี พ.ศ.
2547 ได้มีการจัดตั้ง ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการวิทยาศาสตร์ (Science Lab Centre)
เพ่ือให้บริการเครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นสูง โดยเน้นให้บริการในการเรียนการ
สอนของนิสิตในระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท ปริญญาเอก และบริการตรวจ
วิเคราะห์ด้านงานวิจัยของคณาจารย์ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย และหน่วยงาน
ภายนอกมหาวิทยาลยั

ท้ังนี้ เพ่ือเป็นการสนับสนุน งานวิจัยของคณาจารย์ นิสิต และ
ผ้ปู ระกอบการอตุ สาหกรรม และนาความรดู้ ้านวิชาการและงานวจิ ัย สู่การเรียน
การสอนนาไปสู่ความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ ตลอดจนสร้างความร่วมมือกับ
หน่วยงานอื่นๆ เพื่อการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี และถ่ายทอดสู่ภาคเอกชน ชุมชนและ
เพอ่ื การพัฒนาประเทศไทย

วิสัยทัศน์

ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการวิทยาศาสตร์เป็นศูนย์บริการเครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์ช้ันสูง
ทางด้านการวิเคราะห์ทดสอบทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อให้งานบริการ วิชาการและ
งานวิจัย สู่สากล ส่งเสริมงานวิจัย ตลอดจนการเรียนการสอน ของนิสิต อาจารย์
บุคลากรของคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และหน่วยงานภายในมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรและหน่วยงาน
ภายนอกภาคของรัฐและเอกชนให้พัฒนาความรู้ ความสามารถ และประสบการณ์ด้าน
งานวิชาการและงานวิจยั
