#YOURBOERNECHAMBER
INTRODUCTION
2022 has been a year filled with exciting milestones and growth at The Greater
Boerne Chamber of Commerce. We have added new events and educational
opportunities for our members, and are continuing to improve and expand our
programs and facilities. We were proud to be ranked as the number 3 chamber
of commerce in the greater San Antonio-area by the San Antonio Business
Journal, with one of the fastest growing memberships in our region.
The Boerne Chamber is grateful for our membership and their confidence in our
organization. In 2022 we had 273 new members join, 15% membership growth,
and a retention rate of 83%. Our Chamber currently represents nearly 1,000
members with approximately 23,000 employees. These numbers are a direct
reflection of our community’s confidence in our organization, and we are
thankful to be the hub of a flourishing business community.
Bringing people together and providing educational resources are pillars of our
mission, and we were able to create new avenues for our members to engage
and learn this year. Our inaugural pickleball tournament was held in October,
and we were able to bring back the popular Boerne Business Conference in
November. Additionally, we expanded our workshop offerings this year, with a
variety of topics that were relevant to changing needs of businesses in our
area.
In the coming year, we look forward to offering many improvements for our
members and the community. Our conference room will be remodeled with new
technology to offer a more collaborative and inviting meeting space. We also
plan to make exterior improvements to our building on South Main Street, and
revamp our existing website to drive more exposure for our growing
membership.
Your support is the reason for our success. We will continue to build lasting
relationships, create opportunities to learn, and advocate for your business as
we enter another year. We thank you for placing your trust in us to serve you
and your organization.
Sincerely,
Kimberley Blohm
