WEEK 1

TOPIC
Introduction To Teaching and Microteaching

On the first day of class, our
PICTURES lecture starts briefing about
the SOW. The lecturer
explained the project,
project 2, ESL blog teaching
aids, mock teaching, 2 test,
and the last assessment the
portfolio.

In this lesson, I learned what
the differentiation between
microteaching and teaching.
Other than that I learned the
teaching process of
21-century learning, types
of microteaching skills, and
the principle of
microteaching. I also know
the between pedagogy and
methodology, when is no
pedagogy there is no
methodology.

At the end of the lessons,
I know how to teach the
students in class in the right
method with the CEFR guided.

WEEK 2

TOPIC
Introduction To Taching and Microteaching

to write the right learning
objective, learning outcome,
and learning standard. A
lesson plan with no objective
will bring consequences. Every
learning outcome must sync
with the learning standard.
Based on my understanding
of learning outcomes what
do you expect and what do
you want to achieve in the
classroom. While for the
learning objective what do
you intend?
At the end of the lessons,
I know how to write learning
objectives based on A
(audience), B (behavior), C
(condition), and D (degree).

TOPIC
Set Induction amd Lesson Plan

PICTURES In this lesson, I learned how
the set induction should be,
Set induction or the other
name is anticipatory set.
When do set the induction
stage make sure to link with
the next stage. Good set
induction strategies when the
teacher makes the
attention-getting an example
when the teacher walk in the
classroom greet them and the
other strategy is interest with
the student must be gain.

Learning Objective and Mockteaching I

Project 1 (A) - Microteaching II

PICTURES For week 5 I and my group
have to present project 1
about 5 types of teaching
aid visual aid, realia, audio-
visual, audio materials, and
online teaching tools. We
choose Form 3textbook about
Family Ties (People and
Culture) as our topic for
teaching aids. After e choose
the topic we have to do 15
activities with 4 skills using
the 5 types of teaching aids.
After that, we have to do
second mock teaching with
our friends each of us has to
evaluate when our friends are
done with the mock teaching.
We also need to record all
the sessions and submit them
to google drive.

TOPIC WEEK 6
Stimulus Variation
DATE In this lesson, I learned
23 March 2022 stimulus variation is an
important skill which helps to
PICTURES keep students attentive in the
class and to sustain their
motivation. This skill involves
using various attention
producing behavior patterns
from the part of the teacher,
in order to sustain theinterest
and attention of the students.
An efficient teacher
intelligently switches
overbetween different stimuli
during the class. The
significance of stimulus
variation is directly
proportional to attention
span of students.

Questioning Technique

PICTURES In this lesson, I learned to ask
a question to the students
with the right technique and
what a good question should
be. Few techniques when
asking the student a question
I have to engage with the
student first. Make sure the
question develops with critical
thinking.
To develop good question
make sure the
question clearly stated and
do no impromptu the question
and the question also have to
be short because English is
the second language that
students are not familiar with
lastly don’t forget to apply
bloom taxonomy when
develop the question.

Project 1 (B)

PICTURES For week 8, I and my friend
have to present an ESL blog
for teachers blog teaching
English. We choose form 1
textbook chapter 10 gadget
and gizmos. In the blog, we
cover 4 skills activities. We
have to create a friendly
blog for the students. The
activity is also suitable for
independent learning. For
each skill we have to create 2
activities.
After that, we have to do
second mock teaching with
our friends each of us has to
evaluate when our friends are
done with the mock teaching.
We also need to record all
the sessions and submit them
to google drive.

TOPIC
REINFORCEMENT STRATEGIES

reinforcement strategies can
be used to help students
develop and maintain
appropriatebehaviors both
in the classroom. When using
reinforcement strategies, it
is important to know what a
student’s preferred
reinforcer is. Teachers can
use a reinforcer assessment
to identify and individualize
reinforcersfor students.

TOPIC
lesson Plan and Microteaching III

11 May 2022 - 13 May 2022

PICTURES In this lesson, I learned to
write a lesson plan for each
skill. The first skill that has to
start first is listening
because this skill is the first
thing that has to requires then
move on to speaking,
reading, and writing. The l
ecturer also tells us that all
skills must be the same
concept and the same topic
on the day.
For the last mockteaching, the
lecturer divides us into the
breaking room and do the
mock teaching with our
friends, each of us has to
make an evaluation when our
friend do the mockteaching.
