EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY PRAKRIT
LANGUAGE ONLINE

India is considered the land of a number of languages. A few of
them are still spoken and a few of them disappeared in due
course of time. Prakrit is one of the disappeared ancient
languages of India. A number of literature, inscriptions and
plays are available in different dialects of the Prakrit language,
and their study is a must for the complete knowledge of
ancient Indian history and culture. Keeping this fact in mind,
ISJS organised an online course on Prakrit language in
November-December 2022 and received an overwhelming
response from enthusiastic Prakrit learners. Due to limited
seats, we could not accept all applications and ISJS promised
to re-announce the course. ISJS offers a 3-month online course
on “Fundamentals of Prakrit Language” from March 3 – June 2,
2023. Last date for registration is February 10, 2023.
