HOW TO USE THE POWER GUIDE
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. I John 5:14-15
The Power Guide is designed as a tool for study, reflection and prayer. Each prayer is written based on the model of the Lord’s Prayer (see Matthew 6:9-13).
In order to maximize the use of your guide, please follow the listed instructions.
1. Set aside a few minutes each day to pray individually, with your family or prayer partner(s). Gradually build your prayer time with the Lord to at least thirty (30) to sixty (60) minutes each day. You can split up your prayer time, if necessary, and pray a few minutes in the morning and evening. You choose the time of day that is good for you. Find a comfortable place to pray and turn off any distractions. If you have small children who need most of your attention, pray the daily prayer with them. Let God’s Word saturate their hearing.
2. Refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar on page 7 for the specific prayer for the day. Only pray for the prayer topic that is assigned to that day so that we are unified in our daily praying. Please do not get ahead of the prayer for the day. Before praying the “Scriptural Prayer,” first read the Scriptures listed for “Scripture Reading.”
3. Pray the assigned prayer out loud. There is power in your verbal expression. Parents, please encourage your children to pray their prayer topics in the Children’s Power Guide out loud. Youth (ages 13-17) may use the Adult Power Guide.
4. These prayers are intended to be a springboard to help you with your prayerful conversations. Trust the Holy Spirit to
4

help you to expand upon the prayer that you are praying for the day. If you speak in tongues, please pray in tongues over each prayer topic. Relax, listen and enjoy the Lord.
5. Record any reflections, revelations, or inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in the Prayer Expectation section at the end of the Power Guide.
6. Believe that the Lord is hearing your prayer and know in your heart that your praying will produce God’s results for the prayer topic you are praying for.
7. After praying, make your daily power confession by using the Daily Power Confessions located on page 53 in the back of your Power Guide. When you speak God’s Word over your life, you activate the power of His Word to work in your life and produce God’s results for your life. Expect God’s Word to transform your life. I also recommend that you speak the Power Confessions over your family.
8. All members are asked to attend Victory Wednesday on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at The KBC. Please refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar for your assigned Wednesday to attend Victory Wednesday. Assignments are listed based on the first letter of your last name.
9. Enjoy your time spent with the Lord and thank you for helping to implement God’s plans for our Church Family.
God Bless You!

FALL FEASTS 2019 PREPARATION REMINDER:
Dear Fellow Kingdom Builders,
What an exciting time in the Lord! God continues to perform His miraculous works through our Church Family. We will celebrate the Fall Feasts consisting of the Feast of Trumpets (sundown, September 29th through sundown, September 30th), Day of Atonement (sundown, October 8th through sundown, October 9th), and the Feast of Tabernacles (sundown, October 13th through sundown, October 21st). In Leviticus 23, God instructs us to meet Him at appointed times to celebrate His love and faithfulness.
The Fall Feasts begin with a 40-day period called Teshuva. Beginning at sundown on September 1st through October 8th, we will enter into a season of reflection, repentance, and reconciliation. During this time, begin to look inwardly and assess your life. Over the past year, what has improved in your life? What needs to be changed? What could you have done better? What do you need to repent for? Did your relationship grow with the Lord? Did you spend adequate time with the Lord? These are some questions that may be asked during this period. The Lord also requires us to work on broken relationships. Is there someone in your life that you need to talk with and ask for their forgiveness? Do you need to forgive a loved one, friend, or co- worker for a wrong that was committed?
During Teshuva, we will reflect, repent, reconcile, remember, and rejoice. Mark your calendars for our Church Family Fast (sundown, September 30th through sundown, October 9th) and the Fall Feasts. Our time under God is NOW!
Psalm 5:12,

Prayer Topic #1:
A Prayer of Preparation for the Fall Feasts
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 19, Leviticus 23:23-44
Reflections of the Heart:
God has appointed times to celebrate with His people. As we make preparations during the Fall Feasts to meet Him, let us reflect on His goodness. Take a retrospective of the past year to repent and also remember the wonderful things He has done for us. Our time under God is NOW!
Scriptural Prayer:
Our Father, thank You for Your appointed times and seasons. We thank You for demonstrating Your unfailing love towards us. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us from the power of the evil one. We are thankful for Your presence in our lives. Great is Your faithfulness; Your mercies begin afresh each day. Lord, the earth is Yours and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.
Loving Father, by faith, we anticipate the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles to experience Your love, power, and presence. On the day of the Feast of Trumpets, when the trumpets sound, we as a Church Family will assemble together and respond to the call to honor Your faithfulness. During the Day of Atonement, we will afflict our souls with prayer and fasting. We will re-evaluate our lives, repent for our sins, and draw closer to You. As we prepare for these special observances, we will also remember that the blood of goats or calves no longer atones for our sins; but it is the blood of Jesus Christ, who through the eternal Spirit, offered Himself to You to cleanse our consciences from dead works. During the Feast of Tabernacles, we will remember that Christ has become our High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands. Jesus Christ, our big brother, has secured our redemption forever.
Father God, please extend Your mercy toward us as we prepare for this consecrated season. During this time, please help us to
9

prepare our hearts and minds in the way that is pleasing to You. Holy Spirit, help us to reflect, repent, and remember. Please help us to slow down during this season and spend quality time with You. Show us what needs to be changed or improved in our lives. Continue to touch our hearts about Your will for our lives. Cause Your peace to settle into our hearts.
I am committed to preparing myself for the Fall Feasts by:

Faithful Father, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness including: idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, homosexuality, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, and revelries. Forgive us not spending enough time with You. Forgive those who do not choose to observe Your appointed Feasts. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive; and we will be quick to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, there is none like You. You are great and Your Name is full of power. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? That title belongs to You, alone! Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like You. You are the only true and living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at Your anger and the nations hide before Your wrath. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving Scripture Reading:

Reflections of the Heart:
How thankful are you? Have you expressed your thankfulness to the Lord by telling Him how grateful you are? If not, tell Him today!
Scriptural Prayer:
Eternal Father, we thank You for giving us Your Name and making us Your children. Thank You for giving us a future and a hope. Thank You for being our Shepherd and protecting us. Thank You for protecting our children and blessing them to grow in Your wisdom and stature. Thank You for providing us with our daily bread. Lord, we give thanks to You, for You are good. Your faithful love endures forever. We give thanks to You, the Lord of lords. Your faithful love endures forever. To You, who alone does mighty miracles. You are the God who made the heavens so skillfully. You laid out the earth above the waters. We thank You, Father, for forgiving our sins, healing all of our diseases, redeeming us from death, crowning us with Your loving-kindness and tender mercies, filling our lives with good things and renewing our youth like the eagles. We are blessed to have You as our Father.
Glorious Father, we thank You for establishing Your will on earth as it is in heaven through our lives. Father, it is Your will for us to give thanks to You always and in all things. We thank You for: (List 7- 10 things you are thankful for. Think about your family, career, church, friends, yourself, etc.)
Triumphant Father, we magnify Your Name. You are an excellent Father and we love You. Holy Spirit, please help us to always walk in an attitude of thankfulness. Help us to daily look for things to praise and thank the Father for. Help each parent to cultivate a spirit of thankfulness in their child. As a Church Family, help us to
12

always remain thankful and to not take any of the things that You are doing within and through our congregation for granted.
Loving Father, forgive us for being ungrateful and unappreciative. Forgive us for acting spoiled and arrogant. Forgive us for always wanting more and not counting our blessings. Forgive us for acts of rebellion and disobedience. Father, thank You for not dealing with us according to our sins nor punishing us according to our iniquities. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, as a Church Family, help us all to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.
Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to You, Lord, who sits on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #3:
A Back-to-School Prayer
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 111, Daniel 1
Reflections of the Heart:
A new school year brings with it new opportunities to grow, learn and develop new relationships. We expect great and wonderful things this school year for the students and educators of our public and private schools.
Scriptural Prayer:
Our Father, we praise and thank You for our educators and students. Thank You for each school and school district. Thank You for surrounding each educator and student with favor like a shield. We exalt You, our God and King and praise Your Name forever and ever. We will praise You every day and forever. Lord You are great and most worthy of praise; no one can measure Your greatness. Each generation will tell its children of Your mighty acts and proclaim Your power. Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains and Your justice like the ocean depths. As a Church Family, we come clapping our hands and shouting to You with joyful praise. You are the Lord, Most High, and You are awesome! You are the great King of all the earth.
Triumphant Father, we confess that like Jesus, our students will grow in wisdom, stature and favor with You and all people. We declare that we will focus on our studies during the school term and not grow distracted or complacent. Each student will work willingly in our classes as though we were working for You. Lord, we declare that no evil will conquer us, nor will any plague come near our homes. We expect for You to order Your angels to protect us wherever we go. We decree that the wisdom of God will enter and rule in our hearts. We confess that we will respect and obey the instructions of our parents, teachers and school administrators. We declare that the wise instruction of the teachers will be like a life- giving fountain to each student. In Jesus’ Name, each parent will direct our children onto the right path, and when we are older we will not leave it. Our students will have good success because we will meditate daily and obey Your Word.
14

Holy Spirit, I will pray for the following educators and students in my family and community: ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, impart into our students Your spirit of excellence, like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego. Bless our educators for our service to the Houston community and surrounding communities. Help us to remain committed to our educational “calling.” Keep us safe in our classrooms and lead and guide us as we teach. Grant each teacher wisdom, creativity, and grace to teach each child according to his or her needs, level of intelligence, and learning capabilities. Increase the wisdom and understanding of each parent on how to partner with the schools to achieve success in our student’s education. Bless the homes of each student to be a place of love, peace and support. We ask You to increase the capacity of the students to learn, comprehend and excel in all areas of our education including: reading, mausatics, sciences, arts, and all required testing. During our extracurricular activities, please protect us from injury. Help each student to develop Godly friendships this school year. Holy Spirit, create within each student, teacher, and administrator an excitement, passion and academic desire as we enter the new school year.
Merciful Father, forgive the sins of our educators and students (list the specific sins). Forgive those of us in the Body of Christ, for being negligent in teaching our students to first reverence You, which is the foundation of true knowledge. Forgive those parents for sacrificing our students to excessive television, video games, music and to the ways and customs of the world. Forgive us, as a nation, for devaluing the worth of teachers and education. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our educators and students of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
15

Holy Spirit, help our educators and students not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Exalted Lord, You are worthy to receive glory, honor and power. You created all things, and we exist because You created what You pleased. Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #4:
A Prayer of Salvation
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 99, Ephesians 2:1-10
Reflections of the Heart:
“The Blood of Jesus washes away our past and the Name of Jesus opens up our future.” Pastor Jessie Duplantis
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your tender mercies and unfailing love. Thank You for providing a way for sinners to be reconciled back to You. Thank You for enlightening our hearts to say “yes” to You when You called us. Lord, You are very great and Your power is absolute. Your understanding is beyond comprehension. We come clapping our hands and shouting joyful praises to You, our God. Most High, You are awesome. You are the great King of all the earth. We meditate on Your unfailing love as we worship in Your temple. Your Name will be praised to the ends of the earth. We honor You as our Lord and Savior.
Our Father, it is Your desire that all people be saved and understand the truth. We confess that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the only gate by which people are saved. We commit to sharing the Gospel with our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies. We will not be afraid or intimidated, but we will share the Good News of Jesus Christ with boldness, confidence and love. We declare that when our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies confess with their mouths, the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead, they will be saved. Father, we declare that they will know the truth, and the truth will set them free. As the Body of Christ, we gladly take the great commission and go into the world preaching the Good News to everyone You place in our paths. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because we know that it is Your power that is at work, saving everyone who believes.
List the people that you know who are unsaved or backslidden. Ask the Holy Spirit for the wisdom to witness to these people.
17

Trust Him to give you the courage to approach them and the words to say to them. ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Gracious Father, we cry out to You to clear the way so that Your Gospel may be preached in every city, state, country, and continent. Since the harvest is plentiful, continue to send laborers to proclaim Your Word of salvation to the unsaved. We ask You to remove the scales that keep the unsaved from seeing Your goodness and faithfulness. Surround them with the counsel of the Godly so that they may be washed in the water of Your Word; stripped of the old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds, and put on their new nature so that they will be renewed as they learn to know their Creator and become like Him. Holy Spirit, we ask You to circumcise the hearts of those who are in a backslidden state. Like the prodigal child, help them to come to themselves and return to You, their first love. Remind them that nothing can ever separate them from God’s love; not death, life, angels, demons, fears for today or worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate them from the Father’s love. Help us, the Body of Christ, to present the Gospel with compassion, hope and patience.
Precious Father, forgive the unsaved and backsliders for not acknowledging You or Your Son. Forgive them for disobedience, hatred, rebellion, idolatry, and rejection of Your Gospel. Please have mercy upon them and extend Your grace toward them. Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for not sharing Jesus and the Gospel with more people. Forgive us for being timid and reserved about sharing the Gospel. Forgive us for not reaching out to those who we know are in a backslidden state. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind the unsaved and backslider of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
18

Holy Spirit, help the unsaved and backslider not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to You, the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #5:
A Prayer for Our Families
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 145:1-13, Deuteronomy 6:1-9
Reflections of the Heart:
“You know God will give favor to anyone who will believe in Him. Every day you should confess that you have favor everywhere you go. God will begin to open doors that you wouldn’t believe.” ~ Joyce Meyer
Scriptural Prayer:
Awesome Father, our souls honor You! Thank You for creating families and for Your Word that instructs husbands and wives, parents and children how to treat each other. Thank You for surrounding our families with favor like a shield. Thank You for opening doors for us so that Your plans and purposes for us can be realized. Lord, You are great and Your power is absolute. Your understanding is beyond comprehension. When we look at the night sky and see the work of Your fingers – the moon and the stars You set in place – what are mere mortals that You should think about us, human beings that You care for us? We exalt You, our God and King, and praise Your Name forever and ever!
Glorious Father, we confess that You are a sun and a shield for our families; You bestow favor and honor. No good thing will You withhold from those who do what is right. And as we approach You confidently for good things, we will keep on asking, and we will receive what we ask for. We will keep on seeking and we will find. We will keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to us. For Your promise is everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. By faith, we declare that our families will not forget to do good and to share with those in need, for these are the sacrifices that please You. The love of God will reign supreme in our homes and our families will obey Your Word, with our children and grandchildren reverencing You, Lord, as long as we live. As we obey all Your decrees and commands, You will bless us to enjoy long lives and all will go well with us. We will always be humble and gentle. We
20

will be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of Your love.
Holy Spirit, show me which family member I should specifically pray for today: ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, we ask that You give our families one heart and put a new spirit in each member. Help us to understand through God’s Word His love for our families, His will for our success and His wisdom regarding family unity and responsibilities. Show our families how to trust God through the challenges and changes of life and how to support and show favor to each other. Encourage our parents and help us to make wise choices that lead to daily achievements. Bring comfort, peace and healing to those families that are mentally and physically divided and, when needed, guide us towards appropriate counseling. Show our parents how to treasure and train our children. Remind us to especially protect the hearts of our children during times of separation, divorce and death to ensure we feel loved no matter what happens or how the family structure changes. Help children to respect and obey our parents. Motivate families to balance schedules so that we may spend quality time together; give us creative ways to connect and have fun.
Merciful Father, please forgive families for all acts of sinfulness, including strife, anger, envy, jealousy, gossiping, idolatry, adultery, neglect, addictions, and verbal or physical abuse within our homes. Forgive us when we allow responsibilities such as jobs, school and extracurricular activities to have greater priority over our families. Forgive us when we take Your blessings as well as our loved ones for granted. Forgive those who do not pray for our families consistently. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind families of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals us say, “I forgive name
21

of person (s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help families not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Sovereign Lord, You are King! You are robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Your throne has stood from time immemorial. You are from the everlasting past. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #6:
A Prayer for God’s Favor
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 103:1-8, Isaiah 61
Reflections of the Heart:
It is the Lord’s good pleasure to bless us. So, “may the Lord, the God of our ancestors, multiply us a thousand times more and bless us as He has promised!” Deuteronomy 1:11 (NLT)
Scriptural Prayer:
Our Father, we give thanks to You for You are faithful even when we have been faithless. You are the Most High God, the only true and living God. You are excellent in all of Your ways. The heavens are Your throne and the earth Your footstool. Lord, You are good and Your faithful love endures forever. You are the great I Am, the Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. You are our Creator and Savior. We will continually sing praises to You and declare that You are the King over all of the earth!
Righteous Father, we declare that favor surrounds us like a shield! We will stand on Your Word and speak Your truth. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path. Lord, it is Your will that we live life abundantly. Therefore, we confess that we will walk by faith and not by sight as we trust in Your precious promises. Lord, we trust and believe that no good thing will be kept from us as we walk uprightly before You. Lord, we expect You to put a wall of protection around us so that we will prosper in everything we do.
God’s favor is upon my life in the following areas?
____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, please show us Your ways, teach us Your paths and lead us in Your truth. Help us to consistently demonstrate our gratitude to the Father for the abundant blessings in our lives and
23

to always bring Him glory. Give us wisdom and vision so that our relationships bring honor to You. Strengthen us as we tell of Your favor to encourage our families and all those who are not seeking You. Lord, protect us from hurt and harm, fill our hearts with Your joy.
Holy Spirit, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness including jealousy, rivalries, violence, injustice, hatred, oppression, greed, idolatry, pride, slander, lewd behaviors, selfish ambition, abuse of any type and division. Forgive those who choose not to trust in You. Forgive those who are Christians for not sharing Your Gospel with their family members, co-workers and others with whom they interact. Holy Spirit, remind us of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

A Prayer for Physical Healing
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 145:3-21, James 5:13-16
Reflections of the Heart:
Jesus personally carried our sins in His body on the cross, so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds (stripes), we are HEALED! I Peter 2:24
Scriptural Prayer:
Righteous Father, we thank You, for sending Your Word to heal us, and for snatching us from the power of death. Thank You, Jesus, for shedding Your blood so that people may be healed. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering the Word to provide healing when we speak it. Father, we praise and honor Your Name. Your Name is Lord and we will rejoice before You. You have been our home through all generations. We praise You, Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Lord, what a variety of things You have made. In wisdom, You have made them all. The earth is full of Your creatures.
Lord Jesus, You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. Therefore, by Your wounds, we are healed. According to the authority that You have given us to heal the sick, we command Your Word to be operative in our bodies. Lord, we command our cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, exocrine, lymphatic, immune, muscular, skeletal, nervous, renal, urinary, reproductive, respiratory and sensory systems to operate perfectly. We command our red blood cells to carry the appropriate oxygen throughout our bodies and our white blood cells to form a protective shield against all sicknesses. Your Word will penetrate deep into our hearts and bodies.
If you are personally experiencing sickness, declare this Word over your life today. If you are not, maintain your health by daily declaring Healing Scriptures that can be downloaded from https://www.prayerinstitute.com/prayer/ healing-scriptures/

Holy Spirit, please help them to guard their hearts and minds from doubt and unbelief. Holy Spirit, please give us all comfort and help us to walk by faith.

Prayer Topic #9:
A Declaration of Kingdom Financial Blessings
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 113, I Kings 17:8-16
Reflections of the Heart:
“As a king of the King, I will make choices so that my God-given domain positions me for blessings, delight, provision and prohibition. I choose to get ready for my new life as a king!” ~ Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your eternal love and unmerited grace. We thank You for Your love for us that never ceases and Your mercy which never comes to an end. Your mercies are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Thank You, Father, for being our strength, our shield, our provider and our Savior. You are great and You do wondrous things. You are God alone. Lord, You are in Your Holy temple; You are on Your heavenly throne. You closely watch everyone, examining every person on earth. We will praise You, Lord, every day and forever.
Righteous Father, as Kingdom citizens, it is Your will that we excel in the area of our finances. We recognize that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Therefore, we will earn, save, spend and invest money in obedience to Your perfect plan for our lives and our families. We confess that as You bring financial blessings into our lives, we will remember that it is You who gives us the power to get wealth so that the covenant which You swore to our fathers will be established and we will be positioned as instruments to build Your Kingdom. Father, we confess that all that we set our hands to do is blessed because You have commanded blessings on our storehouses, including savings, investments and retirement accounts. Lord, we declare that as Your blessings overtake us, we will be able to lend money to many and not have to borrow from anyone. We confess that as we bring the tithes into Your house, we are expecting You to pour out blessings that we will not have room to receive and You will rebuke the devourer for our sakes. Lord, because we will be faithful stewards of Your financial blessings, we expect You to confirm Your Word and make us rulers

over abundant wealth. We call forth a release of a new anointing of entrepreneurship, new ideas and new businesses upon our lives. We command promotions and financial increase to manifest in the life of every member of the Body of Christ during this year according to God’s Word. Lord, we call forth a spirit of excellence and abundance in all aspects of our lives.
Reflect on the goodness of God and praise Him for what He has provided for you this year: ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, we ask that You shift our focus from spending to saving and from consuming our income to building wealth. We ask You to help us to bind mercy and truth around our necks and write them on our hearts; causing us to have favor in Your sight and in the sight of man. Lord, help us to study Your Word, to meditate on it day and night and observe to do the things written within it, so that we may make our way prosperous and have good success. Holy Spirit, help us to build business and personal relationships with other Christians. Help us to begin to love people and use money, rather than loving money and using people. We pray for a breaking of old mindsets and generational curses of poverty and lack within the families of our congregation.
Forgiving Father, forgive us for our sins. Forgive us for repeating patterns of financial failures such as living beyond our means and misusing credit cards. Forgive those in our congregation and our communities for our heavy dependence on payday loan outlets and pawn shops. Forgive us for failing to develop financial plans that include debt reduction, savings and investments. Forgive many of us for entertaining thoughts that we are supposed to have the most of the worst and the least of the best. Forgive those in our congregation who contributed to poverty-like conditions for many of our children by refusing to make court-ordered child support payments. Forgive us for words and thoughts of doubt and unbelief. Father, forgive us for walking by sight, rather than walking in faith. Lord, forgivemefor(listanysinsthatyouhavecommitted). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quicktoforgive. (TakeamomentandasktheHolySpirittoshow 32

Prayer Topic #10:
A Prayer for Our Communities
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 103, Hebrews 8:6-11
Reflections of the Heart:
Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success. ~ Henry Ford
Scriptural Prayer:
Awesome Father, thank You for Your provisions for residents and businesses in our communities. We thank You, Lord, for safety and protection for every family. We thank You for having plans for good and not disaster for us, to give us a future and a hope. Thank You for blessing us with Your perfect peace as we keep our thoughts fixed on You. We sing praises to You, our Father, and declare that You are the King over all of the earth!
Wonderful Father, You are the Light and Salvation for all in our communities, so we will not be afraid. You are our fortress, protecting us from danger so we will not tremble. By faith, we declare that we will live peacefully and safely in our dwellings and that our homes will be places of rest and relaxation. We will be kindhearted neighbors, working together to maintain a peaceful community. Lord, we expect You to place a wall of protection around us, our homes and properties. When our enemies come against us like a flood, we are confident that You will raise up a standard against them. Lord, we trust and believe that no good thing will be withheld from us as we walk uprightly before You.
Holy Spirit, how can I pray specifically for my community?
Holy Spirit, help us to share Christ with our unsaved neighbors. Incline their hearts to seek You first and search Your Word for wisdom as we all live peaceably among one another. Impress upon us to extend our gifts and talents to community opportunities, such as nearby schools and businesses. Unify our communities and help 34

us to stand against violence, crime and injustice. Remind us to watch out for our neighbors, especially the children and seniors; let Your Spirit of love permeate our communities.
Holy Spirit, forgive our communities for all acts of sinfulness including gossiping, lying, fornication, adultery, idolatry, profanity, deception, drunkenness, gluttony, drug abuse, theft and all other sins. Forgive us for rebellion and selfishness. Lord, please help us to forgive any past mistakes and hurts caused by neighbors so that You can heal us. Remind the people of our communities of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help our communities not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Eternal Lord, You are the blessed and Sovereign One; the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man can see. Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #11:
A Prayer about Materialism
Scripture Reading:
I Chronicles 16, Matthew 6:19-34
Reflections of the Heart:
“A materialistic culture implies that superficial things are fulfilling and bring happiness. We may experience happiness for a short period, but it will not fulfill our deepest needs. Our needs can be met in only one way and that is through a relationship with Christ. He is the constant in a world filled with so many lies and inconsistencies.” Christian Paths to Health and Wellness
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our source and supply. Thank You for meeting all of our needs from Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Thank You for being our Shepherd so we will not want for anything. We will exalt You and praise Your Name forever and ever. Lord, You are great and most worthy of praise! No one can measure Your greatness. You always keep Your promises, and You are gracious in all that You do. Father, You help the fallen and lift up those who are bent beneath their loads. We look to You in hope, and You give us our food as we need it. When You open Your hand, You satisfy the hunger and the thirst of every living thing.
Faithful Father, we confess that we will store our treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust can destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. We agree with Your Word that our lives are not measured by how much we own; therefore, we will beware of and resist covetousness. Father, we cannot serve two masters, so by faith, we will not worry about everyday life. We know that life is more than food and our bodies are more than clothing. Therefore, we will seek Your Kingdom above all else and live righteously, knowing that You will give us everything we need. Lord, we confess that we will not trust in uncertain riches, but we will trust in You, the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. We will use our money to do good and be generous to those in need, ready to share with others. By doing so, we will store up our treasures as a good foundation for the future so that we experience true life.
36

Holy Spirit, show me where materialism is in my life.
Holy Spirit, please help us to be Godly and wise consumers. Please break the bondage of conspicuous consumption within our nation. Help us to be better stewards of the resources with which we are blessed. Rewire our thinking as it pertains to saving, investing and spending. Help us to be more disciplined with our lifestyles. Enlighten our hearts to Your wisdom and self-control so that we can begin to build wealth for the next generation. Teach us how to be content with what we have instead of always wanting more. Give guidance and favor to those who are in financial trouble.
Merciful Father, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness including, greed, selfish ambition, idolatry, conceit and arrogance. Forgive us for loving things and placing them over You and for not being good stewards of Your blessings. We repent for bowing to the gods of materialism. Holy Spirit, remind us of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them to you say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, the Almighty; the One who is and who always was. You have assumed Your great power and have begun to reign. Lord God Almighty, Your works are great and marvelous. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations. Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your Name? You alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship before You; for Your righteous deeds have been revealed. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #12:
A Declaration for Justice
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 118:1-9, Psalm 140
Reflections of the Heart:
“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19
Scriptural Prayer:
Eternal Father, we thank You for being the just Judge. Thank You for hearing us when we call to You for help for our nation. Thank You for moving on the hearts of Your people to establish peace, justice and righteousness in the earth. Lord, we will praise You with all of our hearts. Your love for us is so very great, we will give glory to Your Name forever! Lord, You have rescued us from the depths of death. We will sing of Your unfailing love forever. Young and old will hear of Your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.
Immortal Father, we command justice to run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream within our judicial system in America. Your Word says that justice and righteousness are more acceptable to You than sacrifice. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne. We confess that justice and righteousness will prevail in our nation, homes, workplaces, churches, schools and communities. You are the Lord who loves all of humankind; You are no respecter of persons. Lord, You created us in Your image and it is Your desire that we, Your creation, love each other as we love ourselves. Lord, we believe that You will raise us above the injustices of racism that our nation has witnessed lately. And because Your Spirit dwells within us, the Body of Christ, we confess that we will walk in righteousness and integrity. We will not discriminate against anyone because of their race, their sex, or their age. We will not pay back evil with more evil, but we will always do things in such a way that everyone can see that we are honorable.
Holy Spirit, as I watch the news, show me how to pray about the injustices in our nation:
39

____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, please help our nation to heal from the wounds that the instances of injustice have inflicted on the American people. Remind the members of the Body of Christ to not sin by letting anger control them. Grant each of us the desire and commitment to daily walk in Your justice and righteousness without prejudice or partiality. Deal with the hearts of those Christians who practice this ungodliness. Remind them to walk in Your Spirit and not in their flesh. Guide parents on how to talk with their children about this subject in a way that will not instill fear, anger, or hatred. Holy Spirit, I ask that You search my heart for areas of hidden discrimination or bias and remove it immediately from me.
Abba Father, forgive us for any acts of racism, sexism, and ageism. Forgive our nation for its injustice, prejudice, and oppression. Forgive our nation for loving power and things instead of people. Please forgive those persons who are presently practicing racism, sexism, and ageism. As the Body of Christ, we renounce the gods of racism, sexism, and ageism. Forgive me, Father, for not acknowledging that when I make blanket statements about race, sex, or age that I am discriminating. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Prayer Topic #13:
A Prayer for Love in the United States of America
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 105:1-10, Psalm 133
Reflections of the Heart:
Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, let the Lord be magnified in our nation. He has pleasure in the prosperity of His people! Psalm 35:27
Scriptural Prayer:
Omniscient Father, we thank You for the United States of America. Thank You for our elected officials, first responders, public works employees and everyone who helps with the day-to-day operation of our nation. Thank You for the citizens of our great nation. You are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Lord, Your works are wonderful. You are our hope and shield. In You, do our hearts rejoice because we trust in Your holy Name. Let Your unfailing love continue to surround us, Lord, for our hope is in You alone.
Redeeming Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in the United States of America as it is in heaven. We declare that as the people of God, we will love You with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength and we will love our neighbor as ourselves. As citizens of this great nation, we declare that we do not see Jew or Gentile, male or female, black or white. But, as Your children, we have all put on Christ, like putting on new clothes and we will walk in unity and love with one another. It is because of this love that we will exhibit for each other that people will know that we are Your disciples. Your Word tells us that if we love You, we must also love our neighbors. Therefore, we declare by faith that the Body of Christ in the United States of America does not stand and declare our love for You with hate in our hearts for people. We do not look out only for our own interests, but we take an interest in the needs of others. We will live in harmony with each other and resist racial, social, and
42

economic division. We declare that we are of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
Ask the Holy Spirit to use you as an agent of change regarding gun violence in America? Write it down and take action: ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, please heal our nation. Continue to draw the unsaved people in our nation to the Father, so that they will confess Jesus Christ and receive Him as their Savior and Lord. Mobilize and send us and other believers into our nation to share the Gospel, causing Your power to prevail throughout our nation. Holy Spirit, please unify our nation and help us all to stand for justice and righteousness. In regards to the change of gun laws in America, we ask that Your Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, and power rest upon our political leaders. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will and give them a thirst for Your Word so that enact stricter gun laws for the protection of all Americans. Help them to make righteous decisions and operate with honesty and integrity. Lord, please bless the United States of America to be a beacon of light and hope for all nations of the world.
Righteous Father, forgive our nation for any acts of sinfulness, including strife, discord, jealousy, rivalries, violence, theft, injustice, hatred, oppression, greed, idolatry, pride, slander, racism, sexism, ageism, bigotry, apathy, and any abuse of power. Forgive those people in the United States of America who do not trust in You. Forgive those of us who are Christians for not sharing Your Gospel with our neighbors. Marvelous Father, we thank You for Your love and compassion. Thank You for keeping Your covenant with us throughout the ages. Thank You for making us Your people. What a joy it is to be one of Your children. Father, You are good and Your faithful love endures forever. Lord, we bless Your Holy Name. Your unfailing love toward those who fear You is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. Let the whole world fear You, Lord.
Mighty God, today, we reverence and honor You. You are our God and we submit our loyalty and adoration to You. You are the First and the Last. You existed before time and created everything that exists. We acknowledge that You are the only living God. There are no other gods. Father, You are merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. You are good to everyone and You shower compassion on all of Your creation. All of Your works will thank You, Lord and we, Your faithful followers, praise You. You are so awesome! We confess that we will obey Your commands, walk in Your ways, and fear You. Father, we confess that Your instructions are perfect, reviving our souls. Your decrees are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Your commandments are right, bringing joy to our hearts. Your commands are clear, giving insight for living. Revering You is pure, lasting forever. Your laws are true and each one is fair. Father, Your Word is more desirable than gold, yes, even the finest gold. Your Word is sweeter than honey dripping from the honeycomb. Your Word warns us and we expect great reward as we obey it. Father, You are great and most worthy of praise. We will praise You at all times and constantly speak of Your praises.
Omnipotent Father, please let Your ears be attentive to our prayer. Holy Spirit, teach us how to reverence and adore our Father in true holiness every day. Please touch the hearts of those who do not

revere and adore You, and help them to love You with all their hearts, souls, and strength. Holy Spirit, place in us a hunger and thirst for Your righteousness so that we will be filled.
Compassionate Father, forgive us for sins of pride, rebellion, disobedience, selfishness, hatred, and idolatry. Lord, forgive us for half-hearted worship. Forgive us for disrespecting Your Name and treating You irreverently. Forgive those of us who are parents for not teaching our children to reverence and adore You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind each of us of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help us to not yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the God who is, and who was, and who is still to come – the Almighty One. All honor and glory belongs to You, God, forever and ever! You are the eternal King, the unseen One who never dies; You alone are God. Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #15:
A Feast of Trumpets Prayer
Scripture Reading:
Jeremiah 16:19-21, Colossians 1:15-23
Reflections of the Heart:
The Feast of Trumpets initiates the beginning of the Father’s Cycle of Redemption with a “wake up call” to all His children. In ancient times, this was done with the loud blowing of the shofar. But now, it is done through the Holy Spirit’s prompting inside us to look within and examine our ways. Let’s thank God for the opportunity to release our sins and start fresh!
Scriptural Prayer:
Holy Father, we thank You for bringing us through the journey of the past year. We thank You for giving us a hope and a future. Thank You for redeeming our souls through the Blood of Jesus. Thank You for new beginnings and Your redemptive power at work in us through the Holy Spirit. Together, as a Church Family, we rejoice in the celebration of the Feast of Trumpets. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May Your glory shine over all the earth. Our hearts are confident in You, Father. No wonder we can sing Your praises! We will thank You, Lord, among all the people. We will sing Your praises among the nations, for Your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Majestic Father, we are grateful to enter into this season humbly and soberly. We understand that only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols, and who never tell lies, can stand in Your holy presence. We thank You for making us holy, blameless, and above reproach through Jesus Christ. It is through His blood, our hearts are made pure and our hands are made clean. Therefore, we decree that our Church Family stands together in deep appreciation for the gift of Your grace. We know that our righteousness was not secured by the good things we’ve done. We cannot boast or take any credit, Jesus, You are the source of our redemption. We will use this time during this season to examine ourselves to see if our faith is genuine. As part of the Feast of Trumpets, You have directed us to reconcile with persons who may have wronged us during the past year. We commit to mending our

relationships. Father, You have begun a good work in us and we are confident that You will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
As I review the past year (Sept. 2018 - Sept. 2019), I am thankful for:
Father, this year I commit to reconcile with (List the names of those who may have wronged you):
Holy Spirit, lead those within our Church Family who still do not celebrate the feasts into a deeper revelation of the blessing in obeying the Father’s commandments. Remind us all of the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness to us and to our families throughout the past year. While we observe the Feast of Trumpets, alert us to anything that may be keeping us from experiencing true intimacy with You. Teach us to search for the Lord and for His strength; to continually seek Him. Help us to remember the wonders He has performed, His miracles, and the rulings He has given. Give us a strong conviction about the kind of example we are setting for our children as we begin the new year.
Our Father, forgive us, as a Church Family, for our past sins. Forgive us for offering sacrifices, rather than obedience. Forgive those who continue to hold onto grudges and past offenses by refusing to reconcile and move on with their lives. Please forgive the Body of Christ for rejecting Your Feasts during the early centuries of the Christian faith. Forgive us for not acknowledging You in all our ways and for leaning to our own understanding. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. We will not take past offenses into the new year. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals

them, say, “I forgive name of person (s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Sovereign Lord, You are great and most worthy of praise! You are to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but You made the heavens. Honor and majesty surround You. Strength and joy fill Your dwelling. Let the whole world fear You and let everyone stand in awe of You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
