Veterans Support Presentation

Windsor Village Veterans Support Ministry Veterans Helping Veterans and their families

WVCF-VM was established in the early 2000's • A group of Windsor Village Veterans presented a plan to Pastor, Kirbyjon H. Caldwell to start a Veterans Ministry and he approved. The mission statement was Veterans Helping Veterans.

The Plan • The ministry was set up in a way that excluded any special consideration of prior military rank and duty assignments. We mobilized a leadership team and not to any one person. This would ensure that every member's opinions and ideas would be valued.

Our Desire • We wanted to contact the V.A.'s Regional Office to request a representative to attend our meetings to provide current VA information, answer questions and process Claims for benefits. • The VA did supply us with claim adjustors that filed claims for us during our meetings.
