THE SPRING FEASTS SUMMARYAnd the Lord spoke to Moses saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: the feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.” Leviticus 23:1-2The Spring Feasts consist of four festivals: Passover, The Feast of Unleavened Bread, The Feast of Firstfruits and Pentecost (The Feast of Weeks). These feasts are extremely important because they teach us to honor God for who He is and for what He has done for us. In addition, they teach us about God’s plan for humankind and how He powerfully intervenes in human affairs! Revelation 21:3 says “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God, Himself will be with them and be their God.”THE FEAST OF PENTECOSTThe Feast of Pentecost celebrates the giving of the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament and the Holy Spirit in the New Testament. This feast is to be filled with joy and thanksgiving for God’s bountiful blessings of the harvest. During the celebration ofPentecost, believers will bring the firstfruits of any financial income since the Passover. This offering is called the latter firstfruit offering and symbolizes our thanksgiving to God for providing the “latter” spring harvest. The Church Family will offer its latter firstfruits at the Pentecost Worship Celebration, Sunday, June 8. Things You Need to KnowPentecost begins sundown, May 21 to Sundown, May 23.We will celebrate Pentecost during Friday Night Fire on May 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. in The Great Room. HOW TO USE YOUR KINGDOM BUILDERS’ POWER GUIDENow this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the topics that we have asked of Him. I John 5:14-15The Power Guide is designed as a tool for study, reflection and prayer. Each prayer is written based on the model of the Lord’s Prayer (see Matthew 6:9-13). To maximize the use of your guide, please follow the listed instructions.1. Set aside a few minutes each day to pray individually, with your family or prayerpartner(s). Gradually build your prayer time with the Lord to at least thirty (30)to sixty (60) minutes each day. You can split up your prayer time, if necessary, and pray a few minutes in the morning and evening. You choose the time ofday that is good for you. Find a comfortable place to pray and turn off anydistractions. If you have small children who need most of your attention, praythe daily prayer with them. Let God’s Word saturate their hearing.2. Refer to the Prayer Topics Calendar on page for the specific prayer for the day.Only pray for the prayer topic that is assigned to that day so that we are unifiedin our daily praying. Please do not get ahead of the prayer for the day. Beforepraying the “Scriptural Prayer,” first read the Scriptures listed for “ScriptureReading.”3. Pray the assigned prayer out loud. There is power in your verbal expression.Parents please encourage your children to pray their prayer topics in theChildren’s Power Guide out loud. Youth (ages 13-17) may use the Adult PowerGuide.4. These prayers are intended to be a springboard to help you with your prayerfulconversations. Trust the Holy Spirit to help you to expand upon the prayer thatyou are praying for the day. If you speak in tongues, please pray in tonguesover each prayer topic. Relax, listen, and enjoy the Lord.5. Record any reflections, revelations, or inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in thePrayer Expectation section at the end of the Power Guide.6. Believe that the Lord is hearing your prayer and know in your heart that yourpraying will produce God’s results for the prayer topic you are praying for.7. After praying, make your daily power confession by using the Daily PowerConfessions located on page in the back of your Power Guide. When you

speak God’s Word over your life, you activate the power of His Word to work in your life and produce God’s results for your life. Expect God’s Word to transform your life. I also recommend that you speak the Power Confessions over your family.8. Enjoy your time spent with the Lord and thank you for helping to implementGod’s plans for our Church Family.God Bless You!WV Leadership Team

Prayer Topic #1: A Prayer Declaring God’s ProtectionScripture Reading:Psalm 92:1-8, John 17:11-19Reflections of the Heart:“The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” Psalm 121:7-8 (NLT)Scriptural Prayer:Almighty Father, thank You for watching over us day and night. Thank You for assigning Your angels to guard our comings and goings. Thank You for being faithful to Your promise to guard and protect us. We love You, Lord! You are our strength. You are our rock, our fortress, and our Savior, in whom we find protection. You are our shield; the power that saves us. We will call upon You, for You are worthy of praise, and You will save us from our enemies. We bless Your Holy name because You arm us with strength, and You make our way perfect. Father, we know that it is Your right hand that supports us. Through Your help, we are made great.Beloved Father, the world we live in is full of dangers and pitfalls, many of which we cannot even see. But, as the people of God, we declare that our eyes will continue to look for our help to come from You. As a Church Family, we commit to always pray for one another so that we will remain inside Your hedge of protection at all times. We confess that we will lie down and sleep in peace because it is You alone who will keep us safe. We declare that You are our hiding place where we can be protected from trouble. Lord, as we go to our various daily destinations, we will trust You to guide us along the best pathway for life. We will trust You to advise us and watch over us. We will not leave our families exposed to unnecessary risks, but we will be responsible and diligent to discuss safety rules with our children. We confess that we are excellent stewards over our earthly possessions, and we take all proper precautions to secure that which You have entrusted us with. We declare that we will not fall into the dangerous trap of fearing people, but we will always trust in the safety that is found in You, our Lord.Think back on a specific time in your life when God protected You or a loved one and give Him praise:_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Holy Spirit, where would we be without You? It is You who warns us when we are in danger. It is You who helps us make wise choices that lead to life and safety. Show us how to improve our discernment when forming new relationships and keep us from

leaving our families exposed to impending dangers from others. Keep us alert and aware of our surroundings wherever we go. Help us to be consistent in communicating with our family members, co-workers, and friends so that we all look out for one another as we should. Comfort those who have been violated in some way that has caused them to feel vulnerable to the threat of danger. Remind them that they are not alone and that the Father loves and cares for them. Help us to build our faith so that we will not condone fear in our hearts, for we know that the Father has not given us a spirit of fear.Loving Father, please forgive us for not trusting You as we should. Forgive us for at times not being as observant and diligent as we should be. Forgive us for allowing ourselves to become too distracted to practice safety as we should. Forgive those of uswho have left loved ones unprotected. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive.(Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show You names or faces of people that You may need to forgive. As He shows You, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in Your soul caused by unforgiveness.)Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Now all glory to You, Our God, who is able to keep us from falling and who will bring us with great joy into Your glorious presence without a single fault. Prayer Topic #2:Prayer for Our GraduatesScripture Reading:Psalm 92:1-4, Jeremiah 29:11-14Reflection of the Heart: Romans 12:15 tells us to rejoice with those who are rejoicing. We celebrate with each graduate on this day. The best is yet to come!Scriptural Prayer: Gracious Father, we thank You for our graduates. Thank You for being the source of all wisdom. Thank You for the plans that You have for each of their lives; plans for good and not evil, so that they will each have a future and a hope. We give thanks to You, Lord. We call upon Your name and make Your name known among the people. We will sing psalms to You, Lord, and talk about all of Your wondrous works. Blessed Father, we declare that our graduates will not turn away from Your Word. They will meditate on it day and night so that they will be successful in everything they do. As they continue their education or enter the job market, we confess that they will trust in You with all their hearts and not depend on their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all they do, so that You will direct their paths. We declare that they have been taught to choose the right path, so now that they are older, they will remain on that path. They will choose Christ over culture and holiness over worldliness. Godly wisdom will lead and guide each graduate so that in all they do, they will not gain the world and lose their souls. We expect favor to surround each of our graduates as they enter this new phase in life.List the names of those persons you know who are graduating. Ask the Holy Spirit how you should intercede for them:____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Loving Father, encourage our graduates and their families. Holy Spirit, please remind them that the decisions they make today will have an impact on their future. Open doors for them that no man can shut. Help them to identify and take advantage of scholarships, grants, internship opportunities, and job leads. As they begin this new season in their lives, remind them to continually seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously so that the Father will provide them with all that they need.

Merciful Father, please forgive our graduates for any acts of sinfulness that they have committed. Forgive them if they have made poor decisions during their time in high school or college that are now limiting their future. Thank You, God, for guiding their feet into the way of peace. Thank You, Lord, for the Kingdom Ambassadors who are committed and dedicated to the Kingdom work You are manifesting through the Windsor Village Church Family. Father, Your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. You have taught children and infants to tell of Your strength, silencing Your enemies and all who oppose You. Prayer Topic #7: A Prayer for a Successful National Day of Prayer (NDP)Scripture Reading:Psalm 97, Joshua 1:6-9 Reflections of the Heart:What an amazing opportunity to gather with other believers on one accord to adore our Heavenly Father and proclaim His will over our city! As the nation embarks on the National Day of Prayer, keep this extraordinary event in your prayers. Scriptural Prayer:Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous is Your name. You are a great God, and a great King above all other gods. You are our God and we are the people of Your pasture, and the sheep of Your hand. Lord, You are our source and in You we place our trust. Father,we thank You for the observance of the National Day of Prayer (NDP) in our nation. Thank You for calling our nation to pray. Thank You, Lord, for all persons who will join in prayer. We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good. Your mercy endures forever. Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our nation through the National Day of Prayer. We confess that we will worship and give You glory. We declare that all NDP events will be extraordinary experiences of powerful praise and prayer. We declare that the Spirit of the Lord will rest upon all speakers, musical artists, and ministry teams that may gather in small groups. As a result, we expect Your anointing to fall upon believers as we gather to pray. Lord, it is our expectation that people from all denominations and cultures throughout the United States and the world will respond to the call to pray as they hear the advertisements and public service announcements about the National Day of Prayer. We declare that Your Word, which we speak with boldness and faith, will interrupt the airwaves and destroy every word that is spoken by the media and unbelievers that does not align with Your will for National Day of Prayer. In Jesus’ name, we take authority over the Prince of the Air and command the airwaves to submit to God’s will. Lord, we confess that mercy and truth will not forsake all participants; they will bind them around their necks and write them on their hearts. As they do this, they will have favor with You and men. We declare that as each of them commit their works to You, their plans will succeed. We confess that we will pray without ceasing for the success of the National Day of Prayer. Lord, we expect Your blessings to abound in the lives of all persons who will unite in prayer. What specific things would you like to occur during National Day of Prayer? List and pray about them:

Prayer Topic #8:A Prayer for Overflow Scripture Reading: Psalm 23, Ephesians 3:20 Reflections of the Heart: God has promised the Windsor Village Church Family multiple years of overflow. Overflow means filled to capacity and running over. As we continue this era of overflow, let us confess and decree this Word over every area. Together, we will overflow in winning souls for Christ, faith, wisdom, finances, relationships, opportunities, righteousness, the supernatural, and so forth. Scriptural Prayer: Loving Father, we thank You and praise You with all our hearts, for this is the day that You have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You for pouring Your extravagant love upon our Church Family. Thank You for the promise of OVERFLOW and the manifestation of that Word. You are good and Your mercy endures forever, and we testify that Your faithfulness reaches all generations. We offer to You the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to Your wonderful name. We honor You; we bless You, and we exalt Your holy name, for there is none like You in all the earth. Faithful Father, we declare according to Ephesians 3:20 that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to Your power working in us. We stand on Malachi 3:10 that as we have been faithful stewards, You are opening the windows of heaven and pouring out Your blessing without measure. We will not worry about provision for You are our God who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. As we seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, you are giving us everything we need and allowing us to overflow. Every good and perfect gift comes from You. Therefore, we rest in your promise: overflow is our portion in every area of our lives. We confess that as your Church, we prosper and are in good health even as our souls prosper. We also declare overflow in our giving. As we give, it is given back to us, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. We declare overflow in our faith, our finances, our obedience, our good health, and overflow in relationships for the glory of God. Take a moment and write down the areas where you have experienced overflow: _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Holy Spirit, we ask You for overflow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Just as You gave wisdom abundantly to Solomon, let the spirit of wisdom and revelation rest upon us. Grant us understanding in all things according to 2 Timothy 2:7. Let Your Word dwell in us richly and establish our steps in truth. We also ask for Your divine protection,

for You are our refuge and fortress, for no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Surround us with Your favor as with a shield; guard our minds and hearts and cause Your wisdom and protection to overflow in every household. Position us for overflow and help us to be prepared as You bless us so that we may be good stewards. Father, we petition You for an overflow of strength. Strengthen our bodies, our minds, and give us tenacity to be Your witness that we may see an overflow of souls turning to You and new believers in our Church Family. We ask that you send an overflow of laborers into Your harvest field. Holy Father, forgive us for the times we have not been faithful stewards of the overflow and the resources You have entrusted to us. Forgive those of us who have lied, complained, stolen, or refused to give. Forgive us for waste, neglect, and disobedience, and wipe our slates clean as we confess our sins, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Create in us clean hearts and renew a right spirit within us. Teach us to be trustworthy in little so we may be faithful in much and honor You with every blessing You place in our hands. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. Thank You for lifting us up when there was no one else there. Thank You for being everpresent and reminding us that You did not give us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline. For this, we will be forever grateful to You. We will not bow down to any form of phobias because You said, “As surely as You live every knee will bend to You, and every tongue will declare allegiance to You.” Therefore, we are not bound by any idiosyncrasies in this world that cause us to have phobias. With loud voices, we will stand together and proclaim that all strongholds are broken, and victory will reign supreme in our lives over everything. Prayer Topic #14: A Prayer for Health ProfessionalsScripture Reading:Psalm 136, Mark 16:15-20Reflections of the Heart:“To array a man’s will against his sickness is the supreme art of medicine.” ~ Martin H. Fischer, German-American Physician and AuthorScriptural Prayer:Divine Father, thank You for showing us the wonders of Your unfailing love. Thank You for hearing our cry for mercy and answering our call for help. Thank You for all those in the Body of Christ who serve in the health profession. We thank You for doctors, nurses, researchers, scientists, hospital administrators, therapists, pharmacists, medical assistants, paramedics, and medical technicians with discernment, understanding, knowledge, and courage. What a blessing they are to all of us! By Your wisdom, You have strategically equipped and anointed men and women with expertise in medicine, science, nutrition, pharmacy, surgery, rehabilitation, and counseling. Lord, You made the heavens Your throne; You rule over everything from there. Your angels praise You, Lord. Your mighty ones who carry out Your plans listen for each of Your commands. Lord, everything that You created will praise You; everything in Your Kingdom! Let all that we are praise You! All-wise Father, we decree that just as the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah, feared and obeyed You, our healthcare professionals will not succumb to the pressure to compromise; but they remain committed to their oath to “do no harm.” We believe that You are working wonders in the healthcare profession right now. We confess that our healthcare professionals believe in the promises of Your Word, and as they ask You, You will tell them remarkable secrets about things to come in their profession. They will be pioneers in discovering cures and medical breakthroughs for our generation. We decree that the health professionals in our Church Family will seek Your wisdom and knowledge and always pursue excellence in their chosen fields. They are dedicated to the proper care and treatment of all their patients and they will remember to show their patients mercy, just as You have shown mercy to them. Now, ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of the names of those you know in the healthcare field and pray for their specific needs:_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, remind our health professionals not to trust in human wisdom, but in the power of God. Please comfort the hearts of those who have recently lost a patient who was under their care. Help them to heal from the emotional wounds that come along with their jobs. Give them the boldness they need to stand up for their patients’ rights and to contribute significantly to the pursuit of healthcare reform in our country. Remind our healthcare professionals that they represent the Kingdom of God in the healthcare industry, so their demeanor and behavior should reflect Kingdom principles. Please continue to bless the covenant partnerships that our ministries have formed with the medical community, including Texas Children’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and TIRR Memorial Hermann. May we continue to work together to bring the best healthcare to more underserved communities.Beloved Father, forgive those among our healthcare professionals who have been prideful and arrogant, taking Your glory for themselves. Forgive those who have been more concerned with financial gain than being a servant. Forgive those who have neglected to do their jobs in excellence and who have placed the lives of others in jeopardy by cutting corners and taking shortcuts. Forgive those who have failed to show compassion while working with the loved ones of their patients. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our healthcare professionals of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)Holy Spirit, help our healthcare professionals not to yield to temptation but deliver themfrom the evil one. Lord of Glory, You alone are God. You are the First and the Last. It was Your hand that laid the foundations of the earth. Your right hand spread out the heavens above. When You call out the stars, they all appear in order. You alone can never die and You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No human eye has ever seen You, nor ever will. All honor and power is Yours forever, Lord! Prayer Topic #15: A Prayer for the State of Texas Scripture Reading: Psalm 89:1-8, Romans 13:1-7 Reflections of the Heart:There is a rich cultural, professional, educational, medical, and religious tapestry in the state of Texas. The strength of our state is contingent upon the unity of the residents and our commitment to the Lord. Let’s keep our great state in prayer. Scriptural Prayer:Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your tender mercies and loving-kindness towards the City of Houston. Thank You for the bountiful blessings You have given to us. Thank You for the state of Texas. Thank You for uniting the Christians within our state. Lord, no pagan god is like You, our Lord. None can do what You do! All the nations You made will come and bow before You; they will praise Your holy name. You are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God. Lord, You are good and Your faithful love endures forever. Glorious Father, we declare that the state of Texas belongs to You and that it is You who will cause prosperity to overflow in our communities and cities. We decree that justice will run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream within the political, judicial, and educational systems in our state. We commit to praying for those who are in authority over us; Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and Mayor John Whitmire. We pray for all civic, business, and community leaders. As we do this, we expect to live peaceful and quiet lives marked by Godliness and dignity. We declare that the righteous in our state will be called priests of the Lord; ministers of You, our God. We will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonor, the residents of Texas will enjoy a double share of honor. We will possess a double portion of prosperity in our land, and everlasting joy will be ours. Holy Spirit, how should I pray specifically for the needs of the state of Texas?_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rise up, O God, in Texas and scatter Your enemies! Let crime, murder, and lawlessness be scattered. Let homelessness, unemployment, and corporate greed be scattered. Holy Spirit, fill the halls of the schools in our state so that our children and youth will be safe and will obtain a quality education. Father, please open doors for economic increase within our communities. Lord, cause the rent and property taxes to cease and be lowered. Help the homeowners in Texas to successfully maintain their property and pay their mortgages and taxes on time. Let equality and justice flow through the Medical Center so that everyone receives quality, affordable health care. Let Your perfect love and peace preside over our state. Holy Spirit, help Texas to stand as a beacon of light and hope for our nation to see what a Godly state looks like.

Righteous Father, forgive the people of our state for hypocrisy, injustice, oppression, greed, racism, sexism, ageism, elitism, deceit, lying, lewdness, pornography, selfish ambitions, lawlessness, rebellion, violence, hatred, partiality, sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, and slander. Forgive us for not equipping and preparing the next generation with the tools, knowledge, and self-confidence they will need to be effective, efficient leaders for tomorrow. Lord, forgive the Body of Christ for not praying consistently for our leaders, city, state, and nation. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)Holy Spirit, help the residents of the state of Texas not to yield to temptation but deliverus from the evil one.Eternal Lord, You are Holy. You are the blessed and only Almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords. You alone can never die, and lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach You.
