HOW TO USE THE POWER GUIDE
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. I John 5:14-15
The Power Guide is designed as a tool for study, reflection and prayer. Each prayer is written based on the model of the Lord’s Prayer (see Matthew 6:9-13).
In order to maximize the use of your guide, please follow the listed instructions.
1. Set aside a few minutes each day to pray individually, with your family or prayer partner(s). Gradually build your prayer time with the Lord to at least thirty (30) to sixty (60) minutes each day. You can split up your prayer time, if necessary, and pray a few minutes in the morning and evening. You choose the time of day that is good for you. Find a comfortable place to pray and turn off any distractions. If you have small children who need most of your attention, pray the daily prayer with them. Let God’s Word saturate their hearing.
2. Refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar on page 7 for the specific prayer for the day. Only pray for the prayer topic that is assigned to that day so that we are unified in our daily praying. Please do not get ahead of the prayer for the day. Before praying the “Scriptural Prayer,” first read the Scriptures listed for “Scripture Reading.”
3. Pray the assigned prayer out loud. There is power in your verbal expression. Parents, please encourage your children to pray their prayer topics in the Children’s Power Guide out loud. Youth (ages 13-17) may use the Adult Power Guide.
4. These prayers are intended to be a springboard to help you with your prayerful conversations. Trust the Holy Spirit to
4

help you to expand upon the prayer that you are praying for the day. If you speak in tongues, please pray in tongues over each prayer topic. Relax, listen and enjoy the Lord.
5. Record any reflections, revelations, or inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in the Prayer Expectation section at the end of the Power Guide.
6. Believe that the Lord is hearing your prayer and know in your heart that your praying will produce God’s results for the prayer topic you are praying for.
7. After praying, make your daily power confession by using the Daily Power Confessions located on page 53 in the back of your Power Guide. When you speak God’s Word over your life, you activate the power of His Word to work in your life and produce God’s results for your life. Expect God’s Word to transform your life. I also recommend that you speak the Power Confessions over your family.
8. All members are asked to attend Victory Wednesday on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at The KBC. Please refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar for your assigned Wednesday to attend Victory Wednesday. Assignments are listed based on the first letter of your last name.
9. Enjoy your time spent with the Lord and thank you for helping to implement God’s plans for our Church Family.
God Bless You!
Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell

FALL FEASTS 2019 PREPARATION REMINDER:
Dear Fellow Kingdom Builders,
What an exciting time in the Lord! God continues to perform His miraculous works through our Church Family. We will celebrate the Fall Feasts consisting of the Feast of Trumpets (sundown, September 29th through sundown, September 30th), Day of Atonement (sundown, October 8th through sundown, October 9th), and the Feast of Tabernacles (sundown, October 13th through sundown, October 21st). In Leviticus 23, God instructs us to meet Him at appointed times to celebrate His love and faithfulness.
The Fall Feasts begin with a 40-day period called Teshuva. Beginning at sundown on September 1st through October 8th, we will enter into a season of reflection, repentance, and reconciliation. During this time, begin to look inwardly and assess your life. Over the past year, what has improved in your life? What needs to be changed? What could you have done better? What do you need to repent for? Did your relationship grow with the Lord? Did you spend adequate time with the Lord? These are some questions that may be asked during this period. The Lord also requires us to work on broken relationships. Is there someone in your life that you need to talk with and ask for their forgiveness? Do you need to forgive a loved one, friend, or co- worker for a wrong that was committed?
During Teshuva, we will reflect, repent, reconcile, remember, and rejoice. Mark your calendars for our Church Family Fast (sundown, September 30th through sundown, October 9th) and the Fall Feasts. Our time under God is NOW!
Psalm 5:12,

Prayer Topic #1:
A Back-to-School Prayer for Educators and Students
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 111, Daniel 1
Reflections of the Heart:
A new school year brings with it new opportunities to grow, learn and develop new relationships. We expect great and wonderful things this school year for the students and educators of our public and private schools.
Scriptural Prayer:
Our Father, we praise and thank You for our educators and students. Thank You for each school and school district. Thank You for surrounding each educator and student with favor like a shield. We exalt You, our God and King and praise Your Name forever and ever. We will praise You every day and forever. Lord You are great and most worthy of praise; no one can measure Your greatness. Each generation will tell its children of Your mighty acts and proclaim Your power. Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains and Your justice like the ocean depths. As a Church Family, we come clapping our hands and shouting to You with joyful praise. You are the Lord, Most High, and You are awesome! You are the great King of all the earth.
Triumphant Father, we confess that like Jesus, our students will grow in wisdom, stature and favor with You and all people. We declare that they will focus on their studies during the school term and not grow distracted or complacent. Each student will work willingly in their classes as though they were working for You. Lord, we declare that no evil will conquer them, nor will any plague come near their homes. We expect for You to order Your angels to protect them wherever they go. We decree that the wisdom of God will enter and rule in their hearts. We confess that they will respect and obey the instructions of their parents, teachers and school administrators. We declare that the wise instruction of the teachers will be like a life-giving fountain to each student. In Jesus’ Name, each parent will direct their children onto the right path, and when they
9

are older they will not leave it. Our students will have good success because they will meditate daily and obey Your Word.
Holy Spirit, I will pray for the following educators and students in my family and community: ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, impart into our students Your spirit of excellence, like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego. Bless our educators for their service to the Houston community and surrounding communities. Help them to remain committed to their educational “calling.” Keep them safe in their classrooms and lead and guide them as they teach. Grant each teacher wisdom, creativity, and grace to teach each child according to his or her needs, level of intelligence, and learning capabilities. Increase the wisdom and understanding of each parent on how to partner with the schools to achieve success in their student’s education. Bless the homes of each student to be a place of love, peace and support. We ask You to increase the capacity of the students to learn, comprehend and excel in all areas of their education including: reading, mathematics, sciences, arts, and all required testing. During their extracurricular activities, please protect them from injury. Help each student to develop Godly friendships this school year. Holy Spirit, create within each student, teacher, and administrator an excitement, passion and academic desire as they enter the new school year.
Merciful Father, forgive the sins of our educators and students (list the specific sins). Forgive those of us in the Body of Christ, for being negligent in teaching our students to first reverence You, which is the foundation of true knowledge. Forgive those parents for sacrificing their students to excessive television, video games, music and to the ways and customs of the world. Forgive us, as a nation, for devaluing the worth of teachers and education. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our educators and students of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).”
10

Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help our educators and students not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Exalted Lord, You are worthy to receive glory, honor and power. You created all things, and they exist because You created what You pleased. Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #2:
A Prayer of Salvation for Families
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 105:1-8, Romans 10:1-13
Reflections of the Heart:
Through salvation, our past has been forgiven, our present is given meaning and our future is secured. --Rick Warren
Scriptural Prayer:
Glorious Father, thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for showing families just how great Your love is by sending Christ to die for them while they were still sinners. Thank You for adopting them as Your children. Lord God, thank You for the precious gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Your majestic Name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens! Families will praise Your Name forever and ever, for You have all wisdom and power. They will put their hope in You, Lord; You are their help and shield. Father, You have performed many wonders for them. Your plans for families are too numerous to list. You have no equal! If they tried to recite all Your wonderful deeds, they would never come to the end of them.
Triumphant Father, we know according to Your Word that You want everyone to be saved and understand the truth. We confess that if families openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. When they do, as Your Word promises, they will not perish but have everlasting life. They will have the right to become Your children. They will see themselves as Your masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus so that they can do the good things You predestined for them. Our families will proclaim the good news that You save, publish Your glorious deeds among the nations and tell everyone about the amazing things You do. We declare that they will worship Christ as Lord of their lives. And if someone asks about their hope as believers, they will always be ready to explain in a gentle and respectful way. We confess that families
12

will never stop praying and being thankful in all circumstances, for this is Your will for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Holy Spirit, reveal how I can pray for families who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Ask and trust the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom when witnessing to others today. ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, send disciples families throughout the world who need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Help those who have been saved to embrace fully the gift of salvation from the Father. Provide family members with continued opportunities to grow into the knowledge of God through spiritual wisdom and guidance, whether they are new or seasoned believers. Stir up their gifts and give them the desire, courage and discernment to proclaim Christ, follow His teachings and do good works. And when they sin, as humans sometimes do, such as being judgmental and envious of one another, help them to repent. Give each individual in the family the endurance to continue on the path You have established just for them.
Precious Father, forgive families for all acts of sinfulness, including disobedience, rebellion, pride, arrogance, selfishness, hatred, lying, perversion and gossiping. Forgive those who have heard the Gospel but refuse to accept it and those who have accepted the Gospel and refuse to share it. Forgive family members who devalue their unsaved relatives. Lord, forgive me for (list the sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind families of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help families not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides You. There is no Rock like You, our God. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. You are awesome in Your sanctuary. You are the God of Israel, who gives power and strength to His people. Praise be to You, O God! May Your glory shine over all the earth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #3:
A Declaration of Kingdom Praise and Worship
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 147, II Chronicles 5
Reflections of the Heart:
Worship always involves the offering of gifts (time, talent, money, praise) to The King, indicating the citizen’s awareness that everything (s)he enjoys is at the pleasure of The King. ~ Dr. Myles Munroe
Scriptural Prayer:
Almighty Father, we thank You for the exuberant praise and worship during our weekend Worship Celebrations. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, who makes our worship experience possible. Holy Spirit, we thank You for Your manifested presence saturating the sanctuary and our congregation as we gather to exalt the Name of the King of kings and Lord of lords. You are great and perform wondrous deeds. You alone are God. We praise You for Your loving kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness. Father, through all generations You have been our home! Before the mountains were born, before You gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, You are God.
Royal Father, as Kingdom citizens, we shout with joy to You. We worship You with gladness and come before Your presence with joyful singing. You are the Lord, our God! You made us, and we are Yours. We are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture. We enter with thanksgiving and come into Your courts with praise. We give thanks to You and praise Your Name. Lord, You are good; Your unfailing love continues forever and Your faithfulness to each generation. We enter into Your sanctuary with our thanksgiving and praise. We declare that our worship and praise will produce spectacular sounds like the Levites who praised You in Your holy temple. As You inhabit our praises, we declare that salvation, healing, restoration and deliverance will come forth. By faith, we declare that every member of the Body of Christ will worship You in Spirit and Truth. By doing this, we will become the true worshippers You are seeking.
List three praise scriptures that honor the Father. Meditate on these scriptures throughout the week and come prepared to offer high praise to Him when you come to church. On your way to church, begin to declare God’s glory!:
15

Holy Spirit, since our worship is a direct reflection of our relationship with the Father, help each of us to examine that relationship and make whatever adjustments are needed so that our praise may be pleasing to our King. Let Your glory fill us and our churches. Help us to live lifestyles of praise and not wait until we get to Church to begin to exalt our King. Sanctify and purify our hearts so that our worship is a sweet aroma to God, our Father, as we sing melodious songs of praise to Him.
Merciful Father, forgive us for allowing our emotions and circumstances to dictate the level of praise that we offer to You. Forgive those who intentionally arrive late to service in an attempt to miss praise and worship. Forgive those who do not actively participate in praise and worship. Forgive those who are not living lives that reflect their love for You. Lord, forgive me for (list the sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Sovereign Lord, God Almighty, You are glorious! You are the Rock; Your deeds are perfect. Everything You do is just and fair. You are the faithful God who does no wrong. Now to You, the King, eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #4:
A Declaration of God’s Provision
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 115, Deuteronomy 28:8-14
Reflections of the Heart:
“We can be certain that God will give us the strength and resources we need to live through any situation in life that He ordains. The will of God will never take us where the grace of God cannot sustain us.”
~ Billy Graham
Scriptural Prayer:
Divine Father, we thank You for Your grace. Thank You for knowing exactly what we need before we even ask. Thank You for never abandoning us or leaving our children begging for bread. Thank You for being our faithful source. We have always been able to depend on Your goodness. We take delight in You, Lord. We commit everything we do to You because we know we can trust You to help us. You direct our steps and You delight in every detail of our lives. Even though we sometimes stumble, we will never fall because You hold us by Your hand. You love us with an unfailing love and Your faithfulness endures forever. We find comfort in knowing that the very hairs on our heads are all numbered. Therefore, we are not afraid because we know how much You value us. We praise You Lord, for You have shown us the wonders of Your unfailing love!
Almighty Father, as a Church Family, we declare that we will not worry about what we will eat, what we will drink, or what we will wear. We trust that You already know our needs, so we will simply commit to seeking Your Kingdom above all else and living righteously. Then, we can expect everything we need to be added to us. We decree that we will keep the gates of provision open by giving cheerfully and not reluctantly. We know that if we continue to be obedient in our giving that You will generously provide all that we need. Not only that, but we will have plenty to share with others. We declare that we will learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others. We confess that our love for You, Father, will not be overshadowed by a love for the material things Your goodness provides for us. We believe that You will faithfully answer our prayers
17

with awesome deeds. You crown the year with a bountiful harvest. Even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. We decree that You are our sun and shield, giving us grace and glory. You will withhold no good thing from us when we do what is right.
Reflect on the goodness of God and praise Him for what He has provided for you this year: ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, help us to acknowledge our motives when we ask for things. Help us to seek the Father only for what belongs to us, not to covet what doesn’t. Help us to trust the Lord completely with our needs. Remind us that the Father causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for them. Help us to keep a generous heart even when times are tough. Show us areas where we need to fortify our faith in God’s faithfulness to us. Help us to teach our children to honor the Lord for all that He does for us. Remind us that we are not to compete with one another, chasing after status and possessions. Keep our feet firmly planted on the ground. Remind us to keep a Kingdom perspective in all that we do. Sharpen our discernment to recognize opportunities to sow seed into good ground. Deliver us from being fearful about how our needs will be met.
Faithful Father, forgive us for being greedy, selfish, arrogant, rude, impatient, and thoughtless. Forgive us for murmuring and complaining while we wait for manifestation in our lives. Forgive us for our lack of good stewardship over what we already have. Forgive us for lying, cheating, and even stealing to get ahead. Forgive us for withholding our best gifts from You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us of all those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.
18

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
We praise You, Lord! How amazing are Your deeds! Everything You do reveals Your glory and majesty. We know Your greatness, Father; that You are greater than any other god. You do whatever pleases You throughout all heaven and earth, and on the seas and in their depths. Your Name endures forever. Your fame is known to every generation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #5:
A Declaration of Joy
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 119:57-64, Psalm 16:7-11
Reflections of the Heart:
“I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” John 15:11
Scriptural Prayer:
Omniscient Father, we thank You for being our God. We thank You for saving us through the sacrifice of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. We thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to instruct, guide, teach and comfort us. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering us and filling our lives with joy. Hallel YAH! Awesome Father, You are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Lord, Your works are wonderful. You are our help and shield. In You, do our hearts rejoice because we trust in Your holy Name. Let Your unfailing love continue to surround us Lord, for our hope is in You alone.
Wonderful Father, as a Church Family, we declare that as we keep Your commands and abide in Your love; Your joy will remain in us and our joy will overflow. We know that the joy of the Lord is our strength, so we decree that we will not allow the cares of this life to cause us to stray from You, Your Word or our faith in Your promises. We will maintain our Godly joy on a daily basis because greater is the Holy Spirit in us, than any spirit that lives in the world. Today, we confess that we will count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. We will let patience have its perfect work in us so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Lord, we confess that instead of shame and dishonor; we will enjoy a double share of honor. We boldly declare that in the land we will possess a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy will be ours.
20

What is keeping you from walking in God’s joy? Jot those things down, and then talk to God about them: ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, please instruct us in our families, relationships, ministries, careers and finances. Make our hearts strong, blameless, and holy as we stand before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His holy people. Remind us daily of the Word which tells us that a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Holy Spirit, please help each of us to develop a joyful disposition. Help us all to enjoy life and laugh more.
Loving Father, forgive us for any acts of sinfulness, including strife, discord, jealousy, rivalries, gossip and any abuse of power. Forgive us for allowing the cares of life to cause us to momentarily lose our joy. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).
Immortal Lord, You are the blessed and only Almighty God. The King of kings, and the Lord of lords. You alone can never die. You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No human eye has ever seen You, nor ever will. To You belongs all honor and power forever and ever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #6:
A Prayer for Godly Friends for Our Children and Youth
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 95:1-7, I Samuel 18:1-4
Reflections of the Heart:
“The only way to have a friend is to be one.” Ralph Waldo Emerson, American philosopher and poet.
Scriptural Prayer:
Gracious God, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Jesus Christ to be our Lord, Savior and Friend. Thank You for creating the gift of friendship and blessing us with Godly relationships. Thank You for calling us Your friends. We are honored to be Your friend. Abba Father, Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how we praise You! We will praise You as long as we live, lifting up our hands to You in prayer. We will praise Your Name with singing, and we will honor You with thanksgiving. We give thanks to You because You are near. People everywhere will tell of Your wonderful deeds.
Heavenly Father, we confess that it is Your will that our children and youth develop and maintain Godly, healthy friendships. Your Word declares that two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one falls, the other can reach out and help; but someone who falls alone is in real trouble. We declare that our children and youth will have Godly friends who will seek first Your Kingdom above all else, and live righteously so that they will receive from You all that they need. We decree that their friends will love You, Lord, with all of their hearts, souls, minds and strength and they will love our children and youth as they love themselves. We decree that the parents and guardians of our youth and children will model friendships that are wholesome and Godly so that they will understand what friendship really looks like. In Jesus’ Name, we cancel every toxic friendship and destroy the assignments of the devil against our children and youth. We confess that our young people will not follow the advice of the wicked, stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.
23

I will pray for the following children and youth to find and maintain healthy, Godly friendships: ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Loving Father, some of our children and youth struggle when it comes to making friends. Holy Spirit, please help them to walk in the love of Christ and draw Godly friends to themselves. In their quest for friendship, help our children and youth to love themselves. Instruct our parents and guardians on how to help their child or youth to see themselves through the Father’s eyes. Give them the words to be able to help their child or youth to understand how precious Your thoughts are towards them. As they grow in self-esteem and self-worth, help them to grow in boldness and confidence in the way that they carry themselves so that they will attract Godly, positive people into their lives. Help our children and youth to be kind, fair, and friendly.
Merciful Father, forgive our children and youth if they have intentionally isolated other students or made others to feel inferior. Forgive them for succumbing to peer pressure in their desire to fit in with a certain group of people. Forgive our parents and guardians for not teaching their children how to be good friends and affirming them in Your Word. Forgive them if they have belittled or made light of their child or youth’s desire to have friends. As for me, Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our children and youth of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them to you, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help our children and youth not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Glorious King, You are honored in Judah; Your Name is great in Israel. You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains. You are the King of Glory; the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord invincible in battle! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Blessings for Our Windsor Village Church Family Scripture Reading:
Nehemiah 9:6-7, Isaiah 62
Reflections of the Heart:
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)
Scriptural Prayer:
Faithful Father, we thank You for the Pastors and members in the Windsor Village Church Family. Thank You, Lord, for Your blessings upon our church, homes, and jobs. Thank You for Your amazing presence in our lives, both corporately and individually. Father, may Your glorious Name be praised! We exalt Your Name above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord; You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship You. We will give to You, Lord, the glory You deserve. We will bring our offering as we come into Your presence. We will worship You in all of Your holy splendor.
Exalted Father, let it be unto us according to Your Word. As a Church Family, we confess that as we come close to You, You will come close to us. We expect that all Your blessings will come upon us and overtake us because we are committed to obeying Your voice. We confess that our towns and our fields are blessed. Our children and the works of our hands are blessed. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we are blessed. We declare that we are refreshed by the autumn rains as well as the rains of spring. Lord, we decree in our lives that which was lost is restored and we will eat plenty and be satisfied. According to Your Word, we declare that we will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonor, we will possess a double portion of honor. We will possess a double portion of prosperity in the land and everlasting joy will be ours. Lord, we always expect You to pour out Your Spirit upon us and show wonders in the heavens and on the earth. We

Help us understand that it is God who gives us the power to be successful so that the covenant He made with our ancestors will be confirmed. Lord, please help us to be faithful to the vision of our church and the steadfastness of Your Word.
Generous Father, please forgive us for the sins of disobedience, hypocrisy, selfish-ambitions, pride, gossip, and perversion. Forgive us where we have misappropriated Your blessings in the past. Forgive us for not studying Your Word like we should and neglecting our prayer life. Forgive us for depending on our own strength and intellect instead of Your supernatural power and authority. Prayer Topic #8:
A Prayer for Our Ailing/Sick Family Members
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 144:1-3,9-10, James 5:13-16
Reflections of the Heart:
In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus said, “These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.” Therefore, let us do what Jesus did as we pray for our sick family members!
Scriptural Prayer:
Glorious Father, we thank You for salvation, the greatest miracle of all. Thank You for Your eternal love and unmerited grace. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to break the power of the devil and to bring us hope, health, and healing. We give thanks because You are near. People everywhere will tell of Your wonderful deeds. Lord, You are good and Your unfailing love endures forever. You are great, and You perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God. How great are Your signs and how powerful are Your wonders!
Awesome Father, Jesus Christ, Your Son, turned water into wine, cleansed lepers, healed the sick, raised the dead, and fed five thousand people with two fish and five loaves of bread. Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples so that we would believe that He is the Christ, the Son of God, and have life in His Name. We believe Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Therefore; Father, we expect You to display Your glory in the lives of our ailing/sick family members who are in need of healing and deliverance. With You, nothing is impossible! We expect diseases to be dissolved, broken relationships to be mended, and those who are held captive in their minds and souls to be set free. As we pray for them, we confess that Your healing power will operate through us.
29

List the names of your ailing/sick family members who are in need of healing; encourage them to pray scriptures of healing located at http://myprayerinstitute.wordpress.com). ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, as believers, please help us to be bolder about praying for our family members. Help our family members who are in need of healing to trust in You with all of their hearts and not depend on their own understanding. Holy Spirit, please open the eyes of their understanding so that they will understand the confident hope given to those Christ has called. Remind our family members to look to You for help, strength, and power. Father, cause Your healing power to be experienced throughout our families, church and community.
Merciful Father, forgive our family members who have doubted Your Word and Your works. Forgive them for acting Godly, but denying Your power to perform healings, signs and wonders in their lives and in the lives of others. Lord, please forgive them and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and please help us to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, You are the Almighty! Only You can open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf. You cause the lame to leap like deer and those who cannot speak to sing for joy. You cause springs to gush forth in the wilderness and streams to water the wasteland. You cause the parched ground to become a pool and springs of water to satisfy the thirsty land. Great and awesome is Your Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #9:
A Prayer of Preparation for the Fall Feasts
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 19:1-11, Leviticus 23:23-44
Reflections of the Heart:
Teshuva begins at sundown, for the next 40 days, take an introspective look of your life over the past year. What needs to change in your life? What will you do differently? What will you continue to do that will add value? As you look back over your life, remember the wonderful things God has done for you. Our time under God is NOW!
Scriptural Prayer:
Incredible Father, we thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us from the power of the evil one. Thank You, for Your appointed times and seasons. Thank You for setting aside special times to celebrate Your goodness and faithfulness in our lives. We are thankful for Your presence in our lives. We love You, Father. The earth is Yours and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.
Majestic Father, as a Church Family, we make preparations to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles and we expect to experience Your love, power, and presence. On the day of the Feast of Trumpets, when the trumpets sound, as a Church Family, we will assemble and respond to the call to honor Your faithfulness. During the Day of Atonement, we will afflict our souls with prayer and fasting. We will re-evaluate our lives, repent for our sins, and draw closer to You. During the Feast of Tabernacles, we will remember that Christ has become our High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands. Jesus Christ, our big brother, has secured our redemption forever.

Thank You for using The Power Center to attract businesses, wealth, health and hope to this community. This is Your doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Lord, please open new revenue streams for The Power Center. Holy Spirit, touch the public and private sectors to continue to invest resources into The Power Center. Lord, build a hedge of protection around The Power Center that cannot be penetrated by vandalism or theft.
Forgiving Father, forgive us for taking The Power Center for granted. Forgive the clients and the staff of The Power Center for all acts of sin, including racism, injustice, lying, stealing and mediocrity. Prayer Topic #12:
A Prayer for Business Leaders in Our Communities
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 135:1-6, Genesis 41:3-57
Reflections of the Heart:
God believes in economic development. He wants a community to thrive and a nation to flourish. Psalm 33:12 states, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
Scriptural Prayer:
Almighty Father, we thank You for providing for us. Thank You for being the source of our supply. We thank You for taking care of us and supplying all of our needs from Your glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Father, You created the heavens and the earth and everything in it. You give breath to everyone and life to everyone who walks the earth. We will praise Your mighty deeds, O Sovereign Lord. We will tell everyone that You alone are just. We praise You, Lord! Father God, we are joyful because we fear You, Lord, and delight in obeying Your commands. We are blessed to be Your children.
Heavenly Father, we expect business leaders in our communities to honor Your Word and live by Your precepts. We command light to shine in the darkness for the Godly. We declare that they are generous, compassionate, and righteous. Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. We claim the radical redistribution of wealth in our communities. We decree that the merchants in our communities will not fear bad news; they confidently trust You, Lord, to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted. Lord, we expect You to pour down Your blessings upon our communities. We decree that our land will yield its bountiful
41

harvest. Father, we will support the businesses of the Godly men and women in our communities.
Make a list of the small businesses in your community you will support this week. ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Magnificent Father, touch the hearts of the people in our communities to support the businesses. Help the business owners to establish fair and honest business practices so that the residents in our communities will enjoy doing business with them. Show the owners and managers new and creative ways to increase their revenue without taking advantage of their customers. Convict the hearts of business owners in all communities who treat their employees and customers poorly. Holy Spirit, help the employees to be diligent, hard-working individuals who will work as unto You instead of to man.
Righteous Father, forgive the business owners in our communities for all acts of sinfulness. Forgive those who have not been diligent in seeking Your leadership for their businesses. Forgive those who do not trust in You and Your business principles; but lean on their own understanding. Forgive those who have compromised Your Word to make a profit. Forgive those who have not treated their employees and customers fairly. Forgive those who have not properly taken care of or shown respect for the communities they live in. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind the business owners in our communities of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help the business owners in our communities not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Prayer Topic #13:
A Declaration for the Weather in Texas
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 24, I Kings 18:41-46
Reflections of the Heart:
The weather in Texas is known for sometimes going from one extreme to another. We rest in the Lord, Our God, who laid the foundations of the earth. He is still in control, and because of our authority in Jesus Christ, we have the power to speak to adverse weather conditions and expect them to obey our command.
Scriptural Prayer:
Almighty Father, we thank You for being so loving and caring. Thank You for the State of Texas and all of its bountiful land. Thank You for blessing our city with abundance, peace, and security. Thank You for the authority You have given us in the Name of Jesus to speak to weather conditions. We praise You Lord, for You have heard our cry for mercy. You are our strength and shield. We will trust You with all our hearts. You help us and our hearts are filled with joy. We are bursting with songs of thanksgiving!
Today, using the power and authority Jesus Christ has given you, go outside and speak to the weather as you continue praying this prayer: ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Eternal Father, the earth and all its natural wonders are in You hands. You are the Creator and source of all life, and we trust You to stabilize our weather conditions in the State of Texas. Lord, Your Word tells us that “he who believes in Me, the works I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father.” So we speak to the drought conditions that are still lingering in our state and command them to go, in Jesus’ Name! We command the heavens to release an abundance of rain in all the counties that have received lower than expected rainfall levels. We declare that our soil will be enriched with moisture, producing nutrient food for our livestock to feed upon and for
44

crops to increase in growth. We decree that all hurricane-producing elements in the Gulf of Mexico and the other surrounding seas are rendered inactive during this season. We decree that tropical storms, floods, storm surges, tornadoes, wildfires, or any other destructive weather conditions will not ravage our state. We expect peace to rule over our atmosphere.
Holy Spirit, please help those Texas counties that are still under water restrictions and burn bans to be obedient to the law of the land until those restrictions are lifted. Keep each of us mindful of our personal responsibility to respect and care for the good land that God has given us. Please help all of the farmers and livestock producers and their families through any hardship they have endured due to severe weather conditions. Give them favor with our state legislators so that they can receive the help they need. Help them to increase in faith and in wisdom. Help us, as children of God, to be faithful in praying for the weather in our state. Let us always trust in the Lord’s promise to do anything we ask for in His Name.
Faithful Father, forgive our state for all acts of sinfulness that have caused us to reap destructive weather conditions. Forgive us for reacting to weather challenges with fear and unbelief. Forgive us for being irresponsible and unfaithful with our environment. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us of all those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.
O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel, may You be praised forever and ever! Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #14:
A Prayer for Employment in the United States
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 48, Psalm 1
Reflections of the Heart:
Sometimes, things happen in life that are beyond our control. It is during these trying times that we can rejoice in the knowledge that our God will never leave us nor forsake us. Our relationship with Him allows us to walk through life’s challenges knowing that through the blood of Christ, we are overcomers. Therefore, cast your cares upon Him for He truly does care for you.
Scriptural Prayer:
Awesome Father, we thank You for providing employment for us, Your children. Thank You for sustaining those who are in need of a financial breakthrough. Thank You for helping them daily. Thank You, for being our source and our supply. Holy and righteous is Your Name. You are a great God, and a great King above all other gods. You are our God; and we are the people of our pasture, and the flock under Your care. Lord, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth. You are our strength and shield, and we trust in You. You help us and our hearts are filled with joy. We burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Holy Father, it is Your will that Your children live healthy, productive, happy, and balanced lives. We confess that as those people who are seeking employment place their trust in You and do good; they will live safely in the land and prosper. They will never let loyalty and kindness leave them. They will tie them around their necks as a reminder; and write them deep within their hearts. Then they will find favor with both You and men, and they will earn a good reputation. Lord, we declare that they will trust in You with all their hearts; and not depend on their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all that they do, and we believe that You will show them which path to take. In Jesus’ Name, we command the doors of employment to open for our unemployed. We declare that when they receive employment, they will work as if You are their direct supervisor. They will not talk back or steal, but will show

themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good. They will respect authority, walk in integrity and complete a full day’s work for a full day’s pay.
If you know someone who is unemployed or who wants new employment, write down their names and insert their names into this prayer: ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________
Righteous Father, help those who are unemployed to prepare for their new job. Send people who will consult with them about how to prepare a resume and how to dress and prepare for an interview. Remind them that because they trust in You, they will not lack any good thing. Holy Spirit, please help them to not grow discouraged or frustrated, but help them to continue to remain hopeful and expect their breakthrough to come forth. Father, some need a miracle right now. Please help them. Holy Spirit, for those who have a poor work ethic, help them to improve. Erase any negative perception caused by past work experiences. Holy Spirit, help stretch their income until employment is found.
Merciful Father, forgive those people who demonstrate a poor work ethic. Forgive them for not being on time, leaving early, and wasting time. Forgive those who have not paid their tithes and offerings (consistently), or spent their money unnecessarily. Forgive those for misusing company property. Forgive those who have operated in arrogance, greed, lust, pride, arrogance, and rebellion. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those people who are seeking employment to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help those people who are seeking employment not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations. Who can be compared to You? Who is Your equal? Lord, You are high above all nations. Your glory is above the heavens. Yours is the Kingdom, power, and glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #15:
A Prayer for the Economy of the United States of America
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 104:24-34, II Kings 7
Reflections of the Heart:
The currency we use in America is marked with the statement, “In God We Trust.” If we do trust in God, then we must prove it with our actions. Therefore, let us repent for living beyond our means, for loving money and using people, and for not putting God’s will first. Let’s trust Him today.
Scriptural Prayer:
Gracious Father, we thank You for being faithful to the United States of America throughout our history. Thank You for blessing us to prosper and to grow from generation to generation. Thank You for keeping our nation through our economic hardships and financial conflicts. You have been merciful, Lord. This whole earth, everything in it, and the people who inhabit it belong to You, O God. It is You who supplies us with abundance. It is You who sustains us in times of lack. Your instructions are perfect, they revive our souls. Your commandments are clear and right. They give us insight for living. We, Your children, delight in them and love to meditate on them day and night. We are grateful that You are willing to bear the heavy burdens of our nation so that we are free to worship You and receive rest. Dear Father, it is You who strengthens our nation and holds us up with Your victorious right hand!
Holy Father, we command the economic infrastructure of the United States to submit to Your will. We confess that the hope of our nation’s citizens will no longer be deferred. Lord, we expect that You will raise up people within our nation’s financial leadership who, like Joseph, have a supernatural anointing to receive, interpret, and administrate visions that will save companies, restore jobs, and open new opportunities in stagnant sectors of our economic markets. All-Knowing Father, we decree that Your solution will be sought and revealed in the earth to justify American jobs and encourage innovation and global competitiveness among domestic corporations, giving priority
