HOW TO USE YOUR THE POWER GUIDE

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears

us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the topics that we have

asked of Him. John 5:14-15

The Power Guide is designed as a tool for study, reflection and prayer. Each prayer is written based on
the model of the Lord’s Prayer (see Matthew 6:9-13).

In order to maximize the use of your guide, please follow the listed instructions.

1. Set aside a few minutes each day to pray individually, with your family or prayer partner(s).
Gradually build your prayer time with the Lord to at least thirty (30) to sixty (60) minutes each
day. You can split up your prayer time, if necessary, and pray a few minutes in the morning
and evening. You choose the time of day that is good for you. Find a comfortable place to
pray and turn off any distractions. If you have small children who need most of your attention,
pray the daily prayer with them. Let God’s Word saturate their hearing.

2. Refer to the Prayer Topics Calendar on page 5 for the specific prayer for the day. Only pray
for the prayer topic that is assigned to that day so that we are unified in our daily praying.
Please do not get ahead of the prayer for the day. Before praying the “Scriptural Prayer,”
first read the Scriptures listed for “Scripture Reading.”

3. Pray the assigned prayer out loud. There is power in your verbal expression. Parents please
encourage your children to pray their prayer topics in the Children’s Power Guide out loud.
Youth (ages 13-17) may use the Adult Power Guide.

4. These prayers are intended to be a springboard to help you with your prayerful conversations.
Trust the Holy Spirit to help you to expand upon the prayer that you are praying for the day.
If you speak in tongues, please pray in tongues over each prayer topic. Relax, listen and enjoy
the Lord.

5. Record any reflections, revelations, or inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in the Prayer
Expectation section at the end of the Power Guide.

6. Believe that the Lord is hearing your prayer and know in your heart that your praying will
produce God’s results for the prayer topic you are praying for.

7. After praying, make your daily power confession by using the Daily Power Confessions
located on page 37 in the back of your Power Guide. When you speak God’s Word over
your life, you activate the power of His Word to work in your life and produce God’s results for
your life. Expect God’s Word to transform your life. I also recommend that you speak the
Power Confessions over your family.

8. All members are asked to attend Victory Wednesday on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at The KBC.
Please refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar for your assigned Wednesday to attend Victory
Wednesday. Assignments are listed based on the first letter of your last name.

9. Enjoy your time spent with the Lord and thank you for helping to implement God’s plans for
our Church Family.
God Bless You!

Prayer Topic #1:
A Prayer of Healing for People Diagnosed with HIV and AIDS

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 119:41-48, Luke 17:11-19

Reflections of the Heart:
Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever! In Mark 16:17-18 (NLT), Jesus said, "These signs will
accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new
languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it
won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them." Therefore, as
believers, let us do what Jesus did!

Scriptural Prayer:

Our Father, with our whole hearts, we give thanks to You. Thank You for being a God of hope and
promise. Lord, thank You for sending Your Word to heal us. Thank You for providing healing through
the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Lord, You are great and most worthy of praise! No one
can measure Your greatness. Each generation will tell its children of Your mighty acts; they shall
proclaim Your power! We will meditate on Your majestic, glorious splendor and Your wonderful
miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; we will proclaim Your greatness.

Gracious Father, we commit to Your hands each Church Family member, relative, friend and co-worker
who is battling with HIV or AIDS. We know that You have written their names on the palms of Your
hands. You know everything about them; You know when they sit down and when they stand up. We
decree physical, emotional, spiritual and relational healing to each person who is living with HIV or
AIDS. By faith, we confess that they will trust in You and fix their thoughts on You so that they can live
in Your perfect peace. We know that nothing is too hard for You. The Name of Jesus is greater than
the name of any disease or disorder including HIV and AIDS. We speak to their immune systems and
command them to be made whole in the Name of Jesus. We cancel the assignment of every
opportunistic infection and declare they are powerless to operate in the bodies of God’s children. We
command their lungs, hearts and organs to operate correctly. We command their red blood cells to
carry the appropriate oxygen throughout their bodies and their white blood cells to form a protective
shield against all foreign bodies. We also command the CD4/T-Cell count to elevate far above 500 to
a "normal" immune level. In the Name of Jesus, we decree that the immune cells will only be used to
protect the body from illness and infection and not be duplicated by this virus to further increase HIV in
the body.

Holy Spirit, please show me how I can specifically pray for or help individuals who are battling
with HIV or AIDS:

Holy Spirit, please give strength to those who are weak, and increase power to those who have no
might. Lord, increase Your wisdom in the HIV/AIDS research community and reveal the cure for this
terrible disease. Help those who are suffering. Please extend Your mercy and grace. Touch the
hearts of those persons who do not know God to cry out to Him and receive Him as their Lord and
Savior. Lord, remind them to take Your Word daily; just as they would take their prescribed
medicine. Please provide the necessary resources and finances for them. Please help to increase the
awareness about HIV and AIDS so that people can better protect themselves. Please break down the

7

walls of ignorance and fear that create a difficult and isolating environment for those who are living with
HIV and AIDS.
Merciful Father, forgive all acts of sinfulness for those who are battling with HIV and AIDS. Please
forgive us as a nation for not being more responsible with educating ourselves and our children on the
prevention of HIV and AIDS. Forgive our nation for fornication, homosexuality, adultery, rape, drug use,
discrimination, ignorance and fear. Forgive the drug companies for making medical treatment
unaffordable. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those
with HIV and AIDS of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy
Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive and help me to be quick to forgive. (Take a
moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to
forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any
wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help those who are battling with HIV and AIDS not to yield to temptation but deliver them
from the evil one.
Almighty God, from eternity to eternity, You alone are God. No one can snatch anyone out of Your
hand. No one can undo what You have done. You are the Lord God, the Redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #2:
A Prayer for Political Leaders in the World

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 99:1-5, Psalm 1

Reflections of the Heart:
In a time of domestic crisis, men of goodwill and generosity should be able to unite regardless of
party or politics. ~ John F. Kennedy

Scriptural Prayer:

We praise Your Name, Father, forever and ever. You have all wisdom and power. You control the
course of world events, removing and setting up other kings. You give wisdom to the wise and
knowledge to the scholars. You reveal deep and mysterious things, and only You know what lies hidden
in darkness, though You are surrounded by light. Father, we thank You for our political leaders. Thank
You for blessing all nations to be a mighty government in the earth. Thank You for allowing us to call
upon You in our times of need as a nation. Thank You, Lord, for Your bountiful blessings. We are
grateful, and we bless Your Name.

Righteous Father, in obedience to Your Word, we make intercession on behalf of those who are in
positions of authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. We
pray for the Presidents, Kings, Queens, Prime Ministers, Emirs, Emperors and all political heads of
states and governments. Lord, You aren’t slow about Your promise, as some people think. You are
patient for our sake, not wanting any of our leaders to be destroyed, but You want them to repent. By
faith, we call our leaders saved, sanctified, and filled with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that our political
leaders will not follow the advice of the wicked or stand around with sinners or join in with mockers.
They will delight in Your law and will meditate on it day and night. As they do this, Father, we confess
that they will be like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves will not
wither, and whatever they do will prosper for the good of the world.

Holy Spirit, reveal how I can pray for all political leaders:

Holy Spirit, we ask You to fill our leaders with Your Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might,
and knowledge. Grant them favor, increase their faith, and prepare them to pursue Your excellence.
Draw our leaders to You and cause them to know and fulfill Your purposes. Please place people in their
paths who will provide scriptural, sound and godly counsel to help them; for without Your counsel, their
plans will go awry. Impart Your revelation to them about leadership and help them to lead. Deal with
our leaders about keeping their hearts and motives pure. We ask You to make their hearts pliable,
willing and obedient to Your will. Cause each of their lives to glorify Your Name. Father, we ask You
to raise up modern-day Davids, Solomons, Josephs, Nehemiahs, Deborahs, Ruths and Esthers who
will joyfully and purposefully work in the political sector to help rebuild and restore all nations.

Forgiving Father, please forgive political leaders for all acts of sinfulness, including jealousy, contempt,
pride, bitterness, criticism, lying, gossiping, hatred, grudges, revenge and misappropriation of
governmental funds. Forgive them when they engage in deceitful acts and oppressive practices such

9

as evading questions, exaggerating the truth, and not striving to provide the basic needs, food, housing
and employment to the people they serve. Forgive those politicians for expecting to be forgiven by You
when they choose not to forgive others for past offenses. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you
have committed). Holy Spirit, remind all political leaders of those they need to forgive and help them
to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take
a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to
forgive. As He reveals them say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any
wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help political leaders not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Holy, Holy, Holy, are You, the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is and is to come. You alone are God.
You are subject to none, yet all are subject to You. Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory,
forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #3:
A Prayer for People Who Feel Defeated, Fatigued or Sad

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 113, Psalm 42

Reflections of the Heart:
The cares and concerns of this life can sometimes seem overwhelming, but remember that we have a
High Priest who is waiting to exchange our burdens for His joy. Take your concerns to the Father and
expect Him to give you comfort, peace, rest and restoration.

Scriptural Prayer:

Abba Father, we are grateful that when we, the righteous, cry out, You hear and deliver us out of our
troubles. Thank You for giving us Your peace and joy. Thank You for providing a life of hope,
abundance, and destiny. Thank You for being our strong tower. You are great and most worthy of
praise. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it. You laid the
earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Rise up O Lord, in all Your power. With
music and singing we celebrate Your mighty acts. You have performed many wonders for us; Your
plans for us are too numerous to list.

Comforting Father, You promised to give rest to all who are weary and carry heavy burdens. Your yoke
is easy and the burdens You give are light. We are supposed to trust in You with all of our hearts and
not depend on our own understanding so that You can direct our paths. You are the God who brings
rest to our souls. Today, we declare that we trust in Your Word and believe that it is operative in the
hearts and souls of our members who feel defeated, weary or sad. We confess that though they are
surrounded by troubles, You, our Father, preserve them, and save them with Your power. Father, we
expect You to give them peace of mind and we declare that their hearts will no longer be
afraid. Although they may be pressed on every side by troubles, they will not be crushed or
broken. They may feel perplexed, but they will not give up and quit. They may be pursued, but they
will not be abandoned. They may be knocked down; but, they will get up again and keep going. Father,
we declare that they will sleep without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams. There remains a rest for the
people of God and we declare that those who feel defeated, weary or sad will obtain and dwell in this
rest.

List the names of people around you who are overburdened, weary or sad:

Holy Spirit, we ask You to replace sadness with joy, defeat with victory, and weariness with praise. Help
those who feel defeated, weary or sad to focus on Your blessings in their lives rather than on their
circumstances. Remind them to praise the Father at all times so they may obtain life and hope. We
ask that You bring all things to their remembrance that concern You and Your plans for their lives. Holy
Spirit, please increase their hope as they meditate on God’s Word. Help them to not be conformed to
this world, but transformed by the renewing of their minds. Strengthen and renew them in their
innermost being. Destroy the fiery darts of the enemy that attempt to permeate their souls. May they
always hear Your voice and obey Your will. Show them strategies for victory over every circumstance
that is trying to weigh them down.

11

Loving Father, forgive them for any sinful behavior. Forgive them for worry and fear. Forgive them for
being anxious. Forgive them for not giving You their cares. Forgive them for not trusting You at all
times. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who
are defeated, fatigued or sad of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive. As for me, Holy
Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to
reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I
forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by
unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help those who are defeated, fatigued or sad not to yield to temptation but deliver them
from the evil one.
Holy, Holy, Holy are You, the Lord of hosts the whole earth is full of Your glory. You are the Alpha and
Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the God who is, who was, and who is to come. You are
the Almighty. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #4:
A Declaration of Faith for Business Leaders in Our Communities

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 149, Hebrews 11

Reflections of the Heart:
Faith is defined as belief that is not based upon proof. As Christians, we should have immovable faith
in God and His Word. Decide today that absolutely nothing will shake your faith in the promises of our
Heavenly Father!

Scriptural Prayer:

Eternal Father, we thank You for being in relationship with us. Thank You for drawing us into Your holy
family through the meritorious works of Jesus Christ. Thank You for creating us to be kings of The King
and lords of The Lord. Thank You for sending us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us on this faith
walk. Thank You for the businesses, economics and industries in our communities. Father, Your way
is perfect. All of Your promises prove true. You are a shield to those who look to You for
protection. There is no God except You Lord; You are a solid rock. Lord, we bless You, the One who
guides us. We know that You are always with us.

Righteous Father, some of the businesses, economics and industries are managed by righteous people
who live by faith. We declare that they will trust in You with all of their hearts and not depend on their
own understanding. They will seek Your will in all that they do and, in every situation, they will trust
that You will show them which path to take as it relates to the businesses, economics and industries in
our communities. They will strip off every weight that slows them down, especially the sin that so easily
trips them up. These righteous men and women will run with endurance the race that You have set
before them; keeping their eyes on Jesus, the Champion, who initiates and perfects their faith. They
will seek Your Kingdom above all else, and live righteously, and trust that You will give them everything
that they need. Father God, they will stand on Your Word and put all of their faith and confidence in
You because they know that You are not a man that You should lie, nor the son of man that You should
repent. As Kingdom citizens and righteous people of businesses, economics and industries, they will
trust You with their finances, families, businesses, relationships and every other area of their
lives. Their works will reflect the faith that they have in You, our Father.

Make a list of small businesses in your community and begin to support them.

Holy Spirit, please help each righteous man and woman of businesses, economics and industries in
our communities to relinquish control to You to lead their lives. Help each of them to transform the way
they think by meditating on the Word, so that they will embrace and walk in their Kingdom authority and
rights. Help these righteous men and women to model Kingdom faith to persons they interact with each
day. Holy Spirit, please show them all those areas in their lives where their faith is faltering and reveal
the tools that they need to increase their faith in those areas. Lord, there are some who have had so
many disappointments in life that they have a hard time walking by faith. Please help them to get the
help they need to process those disappointments and heal those internal wounds, so that they can
begin to walk in their Kingdom authority.

13

Compassionate Father, please forgive the righteous men and women of businesses, economics and
industries throughout the world for not having complete faith in You at all times. Forgive them for having
more faith in themselves, their jobs, their finances, their gifts and talents and other people than they do
in You. Forgive them for harboring dead faith. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have
committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As
for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the
Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them,
say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused
by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, please help the men and women of businesses, economics and industries not yield to
temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Triumphant Lord, all glory belongs to You, who alone are God. All glory, majesty, power and authority
are Yours before all time and in the present and beyond all time! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer Topic #5:
A Prayer about Materialism

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 146, Matthew 6:19-34

Reflections of the Heart:
It’s okay to possess things, but do your things possess you? Jesus said, "A person is a fool to store
up earthly wealth, but not have a rich relationship with God." Luke 12:21 (NLT)

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we honor Your Name. Thank You for supplying all of our needs from Your glorious
riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Thank You, for knowing what we stand in need of,
even before we ask. Thank You for being the best portion---in You is fullness of joy. Thank You for
allowing us to be in relationship with You, the Great I AM. Lord, Your Name endures forever; Your
fame is known to every generation. You give justice to Your people and have compassion on Your
servants. Lord, You are righteous in everything that You do; You are filled with kindness. We praise
You Lord. May everyone on earth bless Your holy Name forever and ever.

Exalted Father, as a Church Family, we declare that we will not store treasures here on earth where
moths and rust can destroy them and thieves can break in and steal them. We purpose that our
treasures are stored in heaven where they cannot be destroyed or stolen. We will beware and guard
against every kind of greed because we know that life is not measured by how much we own. Lord,
we confess that life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Therefore, we will seek Your
Kingdom above all else and live righteously, knowing that You will give us everything we need. Lord,
we confess that we will not trust in uncertain riches, but we will trust in You, the living God, who richly
gives us all we need for our enjoyment. We will be a Church Family that will continue to do good works
and we will be ready to give and share with others.

Holy Spirit, show me what "things" I have made into an idol and help me to release them:

Holy Spirit, please help us to spend wisely and not excessively. Please break the bondage of
conspicuous consumption over our nation. Help us to be better stewards of the resources You have
blessed us with. Help us to be more disciplined with our lifestyles. Teach us how to establish and
maintain budgets. Guide parents as they teach their children how to establish Godly monetary
habits. Father, help us to learn to be content with what we have instead of always wanting more. Help
those who are in financial trouble. Many need a miracle in their finances and we ask for Your
intervention.

Righteous Father, please forgive us for greed, selfish ambition, idolatry, conceit and
arrogance. Forgive us for loving things and placing them over You. Forgive us for not being good
stewards of Your blessings. As a Church Family, we renounce any gods of materialism (be specific
and list those things). Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit,
remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit,
bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal

15

names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name
of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Triumphant King, You are the Lord who created the heaven and the earth and put everything in
place. You made the world to be lived in and not a place of empty chaos. You are the Lord and there
is no other. Every knee will bend to You, and every tongue will confess allegiance to You. In Jesus’
Name. Amen.

Prayer Topic #6:
A Prayer for People Who Are Grieving

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 46:4-7, John 11:1-26

Reflections of the Heart:
If you want to know how God feels about the death of our loved ones, remember Jesus groaned in His
Spirit and was troubled enough to weep at the mournful sight of Martha and those who surrounded Him
before He raised Lazarus from the dead. Don’t miss the reason for the Lord’s tears. He was not weeping
for the dead. No, He wept for us, the living.

Scriptural Prayer:

Redeeming Father, we thank You for the life of our loved one(s) who has gone on to be with
You. Thank You for their time on earth and the impact they had on our lives. Thank You, Lord Jesus,
for taking on human form so that You can understand what we experience. Thank You for leaving us
with a gift – Your peace of mind and heart. We are thankful to You and we bless Your Name. Father,
we give thanks to You and proclaim Your greatness. The whole world shall know what You have done.
We will sing praises to You. We will tell every one of Your wonderful deeds. You are our merciful
Father and the source of all comfort. We will sing to You as long as we live. We will praise You to our
last breath!

Merciful Father, so why are we discouraged? Why are our hearts so sad? We will put our hope in You,
God! We will praise You again – our Savior and our God! Father, we trust Your Word. We declare that
our family and friends who have experienced the death of a loved one will not be afraid, for You are
with them; they will not be discouraged, for You are their God. Your Word says that You will strengthen
them and help them. You will hold them up with Your victorious right hand. Your Name, Lord, is a strong
fortress; the Godly run to You and are safe. We declare that it is by Your great mercy that we have
been born again, because You raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now, we live with great expectation,
and we have a priceless inheritance – an inheritance that is kept in heaven for us, pure and undefiled,
beyond the reach of change and decay. So, we decree that bereavement will last only for a short time
and joy will replace sorrow.

Holy Spirit, help me to become more sensitive to the needs of those around me who are in
mourning and show me how I can be an encouragement to them:

Holy Spirit, when we see our brother or sister mourning the death of a loved one, help us to be
compassionate, but also to edify him or her with God’s Word of hope and peace. Bring scriptures to our
remembrance that will help to bring solace to help our brother or sister. As we do this, we trust that
You will help them so they will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus
died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him
the believers who have died. Remind us to care for the physical needs of families in mourning, with
food, transportation, child care or any other material things that may be needed. Help us to be patient
and to not be insensitive to those in pain. Holy Spirit, when we are grieving as well, comfort us in all our
troubles so that we can comfort others.

17

Gracious Father, when we are grieving, forgive us for concentrating on what we see with our eyes
rather than what we believe in our hearts. When others are grieving, forgive us for being impatient as
time goes on after a death. Forgive us when we utter unkind words, making light of someone else’s
pain at the death of a loved one. Holy Spirit, chasten us if we are not taking care of the physical or
emotional needs of a person who has suffered loss. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have
committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who are overcoming the death of a loved one of those they
need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance
those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people
that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now,
trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Almighty God, the heavens proclaim Your glory! The skies display Your craftsmanship. Day after day
they continue to speak; night after night, they make You known. They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the
world. You are awesome in Your sanctuary, Lord God. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Prayer Topic #7:
A Prayer for Physical Healing and Deliverance

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 93, John 5:1-11

Reflections of the Heart:
We are made in the image of God. We bear His likeness. The promise of our total man (body, soul and
spirit) being made whole has been fulfilled in the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ,
our Lord and Savior. Receive the power and provision of His precious blood today. It belongs to all
God’s children!

Scriptural Prayer:

Glorious Father, we thank You for salvation. Thank You for Your eternal love and unmerited grace.
Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to break the power of the devil and to bring us hope, health,
and healing. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit, to comfort and empower us. We give thanks
because You are near. People everywhere will tell of Your wonderful deeds. Lord, You are good and
Your unfailing love endures forever. You are great and You perform wonderful deeds. You alone are
God.

Awesome Father, You brought Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and
powerful arm. Jesus Christ, Your Son, turned water into wine, cleansed lepers, healed the sick, raised
the dead, and fed five thousand people with two fish and five loaves of bread. Jesus did many other
signs in the presence of His disciples so that we would believe that He is the Christ, the Son of God,
and have life in His Name. We believe Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and
forever. Therefore, Father, we expect You to display Your glory in the lives of those people who are in
need of healing and deliverance. With You, nothing is impossible. We expect diseases to be
dissolved, broken relationships to be mended, and those who are held captive in their minds and souls
to be set free. As we pray for those in need of healing and deliverance, we confess that Your power
will operate through us.

List the names of people you know who need a physical healing and deliverance; encourage
them to pray Scriptures of healing located here.

Righteous Father, please help us to be bolder about praying for healing and deliverance. Help those
in need of healing and deliverance to trust in You with all of their heart and not depend on their own
understanding. Holy Spirit, please open the eyes of their understanding so that they will understand the
confident hope given to those Christ has called. Remind people to look to You for help, strength, and
power. Father, cause Your awesome power to be experienced throughout our church and community.

Merciful Father, forgive those people who have doubted Your Word and Your works. Forgive them for
acting Godly, but denying Your power to perform healings, signs and wonders in their lives and in the
lives of others. Lord, please forgive them and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. Lord, forgive
me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those people who are in need
of physical healing and deliverance to forgive others and please help them to forgive. As for me, Holy
Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to

19

reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I
forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by
unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help those people who are in need of physical healing and deliverance not to yield to
temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Royal Lord, You are the Almighty! Only You can open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of
the deaf. You cause the lame to leap like deer and those who cannot speak to sing for joy. You
cause springs to gush forth in the wilderness and streams to water the wasteland. You cause the
parched ground to become a pool and springs of water to satisfy the thirsty land. Great and
awesome is Your Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #8:
A Declaration of Joy

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 119:57-64, John 15:9-11

Reflections of the Heart:
"I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!" John
15:11

Scriptural Prayer:

Omniscient Father, we thank You for being our God. We thank You for saving us through the sacrifice
of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. We thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to instruct, guide, teach
and comfort us. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering us and filling our lives with
joy. Hallel YAH! Awesome Father, You are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared
above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You
laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Lord, Your works are
wonderful. You are our help and shield. In You, do our hearts rejoice because we trust in
Your holy Name. Let Your unfailing love continue to surround us Lord, for our hope is in You alone.

Wonderful Father, as a Church Family, we declare that as we keep Your commands and abide in Your
love; Your joy will remain in us and our joy will overflow. We know that the joy of the Lord is our strength,
so we decree that we will not allow the cares of this life to cause us to stray from You, Your Word or
our faith in Your promises. We will maintain our Godly joy on a daily basis because greater is the Holy
Spirit in us, than any spirit that lives in the world. Today, we confess that we will count it all joy when
we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. We will let patience
have its perfect work in us so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Lord, we decree
that instead of shame and dishonor; we will enjoy a double share of honor. We boldly declare that in
this land we will possess a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy will be ours.

What is keeping you from walking in God’s joy? Jot those things down, and then talk to God
about them:

Holy Spirit, please instruct us in our families, relationships, ministries, careers and finances. Make our
hearts strong, blameless, and holy as we stand before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ with all His holy people. Remind us daily of the Word which tells us that a cheerful heart is good
medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Holy Spirit, please help each of us to develop
a joyful disposition. Help us all to enjoy life and laugh more.

Loving Father, forgive us for any acts of sinfulness, including strife, discord, jealousy, rivalries, gossip
and any abuse of power. Forgive us for allowing the cares of life to cause us to momentarily lose our
joy. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those
we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

21

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Immortal Lord, You are the blessed and only Almighty God. The King of kings, and the Lord of
lords. You alone can never die. You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No
human eye has ever seen You, nor ever will. To You belongs all honor and power forever and ever. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #9:
A Prayer Concerning Suicide Among Youth and Adults

Scripture Reading:
I Chronicles 16:8-14, Psalm 9

Reflections of the Heart:
With all of the stresses and pressures in life, some youth and adults are having a hard time seeing
victory in the midst of the battle. Take time today to deliberately encourage someone; even if they don’t
seem like they need it. You never know what a kind word, a genuine smile, or a warm hug can do to
move someone out of despair and into hope.

Scriptural Prayer:

Eternal Father, we thank You for being Immanuel, God with us. Thank You for allowing us to call to you
whenever we are troubled, and for answering us. We thank You that Your arm is not too short to reach
the youth and adults who are despairing of life right now. So many of them feel alone and defeated, but
we know that those who are in the Lord will never be abandoned. You are a shield around us. You are
our glory; the one who holds our heads high. Lord, Your majestic Name fills the earth! Your glory is
higher than the heavens. When we look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers - the moon
and the stars you set in place. What are mere mortals that You should think about us? Human beings,
that You should care for us? Yet you made us only a little lower than Yourself and crowned us with
glory and honor.

Almighty Father, we come crying out for our brothers and sisters in Christ who have been battling with
suicidal thoughts and behaviors. We decree that they may be pressed on every side by troubles, but
they will not be crushed. They may feel perplexed but they will not be driven to despair. They may feel
hunted down, but they are never abandoned by You. They may get knocked down, but they are not
destroyed. We decree that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. We confess that they
will recognize that the weapons of their warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down
strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of
God. They will bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. In the Name of Jesus, we
rebuke the evil one and cancel his plans to kill, steal, and destroy the lives of our youth and adults. We
declare that he will not cheat them out of the rich and satisfying life that You purposed for them to have.
We believe that You will restore to them the joy of Your salvation. You will unseal their lips that their
mouths may once again praise you.

List the names of youth or adults whom the Holy Spirit is leading you to specifically cover in
prayer today. Then reach out to them in some loving way:

Holy Spirit, shine the divine light of the Father’s love into the broken hearts of our youth and adults.
Remind them that He loved them so much that He gave His one and only Son so that those who believe
in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Enlighten their perspective and help them to lift their eyes
above their past hurts and present disappointments. Teach them until they are fully convinced that
nothing can ever separate them from the Father’s love. Give us, the Body of Christ, a heart like the
Father’s so that we will always be sensitive to one another’s needs and show genuine compassion.
Give us wisdom to know how to reach those youth and adults who are feeling suicidal. Warn their family

23

members, co-workers, teachers, coaches, and close friends so that they do not miss those critical
moments of intervention. Show us how we can better connect with like-minded organizations within our
community to form a strong alliance against the social, economic, spiritual, and psychological
contributors to suicide among our youth and adults.
Gracious Father, forgive those youth and adults who are feeling suicidal for any acts of
sinfulness. Forgive them for not trusting You to deliver them out of their current situation. Forgive them
for allowing the world to define them and their circumstances instead of Your Word. Forgive us, the
Body of Christ, for failing to notice the cries for help that our brothers and sisters have made. Forgive
us for being inconsistent in our love walk toward our youth and adults who are silently suffering. Lord,
forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us of all those we need
to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I
need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that
you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust
the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help our youth and adults not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Magnificent Lord, You are our Savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth. You formed the
mountains by Your power and armed Yourself with mighty strength. You quieted the raging oceans with
their pounding waves. You silenced the shouting of the nations. Those who live at the ends of the earth
stand in awe of Your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, You inspire shouts of joy. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #10:
A Prayer for Justice and Righteousness in the United States

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 135:1-7, Isaiah 51:4-5, 7-8

Reflections of the Heart:
Our Lord is a God of justice! Blessed are all those who wait for Him. Isaiah 30:18

Scriptural Prayer:

Eternal Father, we thank You for being the just Judge. Thank You for surrounding the American
citizens with Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Thank You for moving on the hearts of
Your people to establish peace, justice and righteousness in the earth. Lord, we will praise You with
all of our hearts. Your love for us is so very great, we will give glory to Your Name forever!

Immortal Father, we command justice to run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream
within our nation’s judicial, economic, educational, social, medical, governmental, and spiritual
systems. As the Body of Christ, we renounce the gods of racism, sexism, and ageism. We confess
that justice and righteousness will prevail in our nation, homes, workplaces, churches, schools and
communities. Lord, we believe that You will raise us above the acts of injustice and
unrighteousness. You are the Lord who loves all of humankind; You are no respecter of persons. Lord,
You created us in Your image and it is Your desire that we, Your creation, love each other as we love
ourselves. And because Your Spirit dwells within us, the Body of Christ, we confess that we will walk
in righteousness and integrity. We will not discriminate against anyone because of their race, their sex,
or their age. We will not pay back evil with more evil, but we will always do things in such a way that
everyone can see that we are honorable.

Holy Spirit, as I listen to the media, I will continue to pray for justice regarding:

Holy Spirit, we pray for all victims of injustice within the judicial system of America. Bring truth and
revelation to their cases and release those who have been wrongfully imprisoned. Please help our
nation to heal from the wounds that the recent instances of injustice have inflicted on the American
people. Remind the members of the Body of Christ to not sin by letting anger control them. Grant each
of us the desire and commitment to daily walk in Your justice and righteousness without prejudice or
partiality. Deal with the hearts of those Christians who practice this ungodliness. Remind them to walk
in Your Spirit and not in their flesh. Guide parents on how to talk with their children about injustice in a
way that will not instill fear, anger, hatred or unforgiveness. Holy Spirit, I ask that You search my heart
for areas of hidden discrimination or bias and remove it immediately from me.

Abba Father, forgive us for any acts of racism, sexism, and ageism. Forgive our nation for its injustice,
prejudice, and oppression. Forgive our nation for loving power and things more than people. Please
forgive those persons who are presently practicing racism, sexism, and ageism. As the Body of Christ,
we renounce the gods of racism, sexism, and ageism. Forgive me, Father, for not acknowledging that
when I make blanket statements about race, sex, or age that I am discriminating. Father, forgive me
for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive
and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to

25

forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may
need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to
heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Triumphant King, You are greater than any other god. You do whatever You please throughout all
heaven and earth, and on the seas and in their depths. You cause clouds to rise over the earth. You
send lightning with the rain and release the winds from Your storehouses. Your Name, Lord, endures
forever, Your fame is known to every generation. Yours, Lord, is the Kingdom, the power, and the
glory, forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #11:
A Prayer for the Children and Youth in the Greater Houston Area

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 95:1-7, Psalm 139

Reflections of the Heart:
"The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of
independence." ~ Denis Waitley, Motivational Speaker and Author

Scriptural Prayer:

Great and Holy Father, we thank You for rewarding us with the gift of beautiful, healthy, strong, and
bright children and youth. They are indeed a blessing! Thank You for all the opportunities You afford
us to be affected by their innocent wonder and joyful enthusiasm. May we always seek to emulate these
qualities in our own walk of faith. Thank You for keeping our children and youth safe and always in Your
watchful care. Thank You for being their Heavenly Father. Lord, we meditate on Your majesty, Your
glorious splendor, and Your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue and
we will proclaim Your greatness. We will all share the story of Your wonderful goodness. You made the
earth by Your power, and You preserve it by Your wisdom. With Your own understanding, You
stretched out the heavens. We praise Your great and awesome Name. Your Name is holy!

Glorious Father, we know that it pleases You when our children and youth obey their parents. As their
parents, we will treat them with kindness and understanding so as not to aggravate them and cause
them to become discouraged. It is Your will that we walk in integrity before our children and youth and
that they be blessed as they follow our example. We declare that we will not follow the advice of the
wicked, nor stand around with sinners; neither will we join in with mockers. But, we will delight in Your
Word. As a result, our children will follow our example. In Jesus’ Name, the appetites of our children
and youth will be far from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. By faith, we decree that they will
pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. They will enjoy the companionship of those who
call on the Lord with pure hearts. We declare that our children and youth who are taught of You and
Your Word will enjoy great peace.

Father, I commit to intercede for (list the names of children and youth in your life and pray for
their specific needs):

Holy Spirit, we ask You to move upon the hearts of our unsaved children and youth to confess with
their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead so that
they can be saved. Strengthen and encourage those who follow after You. Send friends who love You
and will love and support them. Heal the hearts and mend the wounds of those children and youth who
are without their parents due to illness, death, incarceration, or abandonment. Encourage them with
the assurance that no matter what they face in their lives, You will never fail or abandon them. Please
protect them from labels, stereotypes, evil words, or comments that family or society may try to place
upon them. Let them know that because they are united with Christ they have an inheritance in Him.
Help them to stand for righteousness and holiness and not be ashamed of the Good News about Christ.
Deal with our parents’ hearts, especially young parents, to make their children their priority. Teach
parents how to be Godly parents and help them to understand the importance of their role in their

27

children’s lives. Give them the strength and patience to lead by the best example. Give our children a
compassionate heart so that they might forgive their parents’ weaknesses and failings.
Almighty Father, forgive the sins of our children and youth (specifically list the sins). Forgive parents
who are too distracted with the pursuit of worldly gain to properly and appropriately nurture their
children. Forgive our parents for (specifically list parental sins). Forgive parents who abuse or
neglect their children. Heal and deliver them from generational curses that cut them off from the rich
and satisfying life that Jesus came to give them. Holy Father, please forgive those children and youth
who have foolishly despised wisdom and brought grief and bitterness to their parents. Lord, forgive me
for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our children and youth of those they
need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help our children and youth not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Lord, You are the Lion of Judah, the heir of David’s throne. You have won the victory! How awesome
are Your deeds! Your enemies cringe before Your mighty power. Everything on earth will sing Your
praises; shouting Your Name in glorious songs. By Your great power, You rule forever. You, O Mighty
God, watch over every movement of the nations. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #12:
A Prayer for Single Parents

Scripture Reading:
I Samuel 2:1-2, Deuteronomy 6:1-9

Reflections of the Heart:
What a joy it is to be a parent! For children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from
Him! Psalm 127:3

Scriptural Prayer:

Almighty Father, we thank You for the joy of parenthood. We thank You for fulfilling Your plans and
purposes in our lives and for surrounding us with favor like a shield. We give thanks to You, Lord, and
proclaim Your greatness. We will let the whole world know what You have done. For Your love remains
forever with those who fear You. Your salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are
faithful to Your covenant, of those who obey Your commandments!

Father God, we declare that our single parents are joyful because they trust You with all of their hearts
and do not depend on their own understanding of parenthood. They seek Your will in all that
they do and we know that You will continue to show them which path to take concerning their children.
Heavenly Father, we confess Your Word of truth over all single parents, that they will discipline, teach
and train their children with love and patience just as You, Lord, discipline, teach and train those You
love. We declare that the boys in our Church Family will flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants
and our daughters will be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.

Holy Spirit, please help those single parents who are struggling in their relationships with their children
to remain joyful. Help them all to live before their children in a way that mirrors God’s Word so that their
children will not see them as hypocrites and turn away from the love of Christ. Lord, help our single
parents to not grow tired or weary, but to trust You to provide the strength and wisdom that they need.
Help us all to see our children as a gift and reward from the Lord. Holy Spirit, increase our patience for
our families, so that we live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Jesus
Christ.

Holy Spirit, as a single parent, I ask You to help me with the following:

Loving Father, forgive our single parents for sin, including bitterness, resentment, fornication, envy,
strife, unkindness, rebellion, deception, doubt, fear, economic mismanagement, poor parenting and
oppression. Holy Spirit, remind all single parents to seek Your forgiveness when they respond in
anger to the challenges they face with their children. Forgive those who inflict harm or cause their
children to turn away from the teaching of Your Word. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you
have committed). Holy Spirit, remind all single parents of those they need to forgive and help them
to be quick to forgive. As for me, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment
and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As
He reveals them, say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in
your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

29

Holy Spirit, help all single parents not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Lord God, You have made the heavens Your throne; from there You rule over everything. We praise
You with the angels, the mighty ones who carry out Your plans, listening for each of Your commands.
Yes, we praise You, Lord, with the armies of angels who serve You and do Your will! We praise You,
Lord God, for everything You have created, everything in all Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #13:
A Prayer for People Who Need a Miracle

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 63:1-5, Acts 5:12-16

Reflections of the Heart:
Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever! In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus said, "These signs will
accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new
languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it
won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them." Let us do what
Jesus did!

Scriptural Prayer:

Wonderful Father, we thank You for Your presence in our lives. Thank You for the miracles, signs and
wonders that You have manifested in the lives of Your children in the Body of Christ. Lord, we thank
You for salvation, the greatest miracle of all. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus to break the power
of the devil and to bring us hope, health, and healing. You are great and You do wondrous things. You
alone are God. How great are Your signs and how mighty are Your wonders. Lord, You are high
above all the nations. Your glory is above the heavens. Who is like You, our God, who dwells on
high? We give thanks to You for Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.

Exalted Father, according to Your own will, Jesus ministered with signs and wonders, various miracles,
and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we expect miracles to manifest in the earth for those who are in
need of them. Lord, just as You brought Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a
strong hand and outstretched arm, so we believe that You will manifest Your glory in our lives today. All
of Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" unto us so we expect miracles, signs and wonders to follow us
as believers. As a Church Family, we know that You are the same yesterday, today and forever,
therefore, we expect You to display Your glory in the lives of those among us who are in need
of miracles. We expect diseases to be dissolved, broken relationships to be mended, and those who
are held captive in their minds and souls to be set free. Father, we trust that Your power and authority
will be witnessed by all nations.

I will pray for the following people who are in need of a miracle:

Majestic Father, hear the prayers of those who are in need of a miracle. Help them to trust in You and
not lean to their own understanding. Please open the eyes of their understanding so that they will know
the hope of Your calling for the miraculous. Holy Spirit, remind them that whatsoever they ask in the
Name of Jesus, He does it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Lord, help them to believe in
the impossible and look to You for healing, deliverance, and prosperity. Cause Your miracles to be
experienced through our families, church and community so that Your Name will be glorified throughout
the land.

Triumphant Father, forgive those persons who have doubted Your Word and Your works. Forgive them
for having a form of godliness but denying Your power to perform the miraculous. Forgive us for not
comprehending with all the saints the breadth, length, depth and height, and the love of Christ which

31

passes all understanding and knowledge. Forgive us for the sin within the Body of Christ that prevents
Your miracles from being an everyday occurrence. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have
committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who need a miracle of those they need to forgive and help them
to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive and help
me to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that

the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help those who need a miracle not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Immortal King, You are the Lord who made all things. You alone stretched out the heavens. Your
Name is the Lord. You will not give Your glory to anyone else, nor will You share Your praise with
carved idols. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #14:
A Prayer for Our Family Members, Friends, Co-Workers, and Enemies Who are Backsliders or
Unbelievers

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 111, Romans 6:4-11

Reflections of the Heart:
God always desired a relationship with humankind. He still does. His heart longs to father the lost and
rejected in this world. So while there is still time, those who are unsaved can still make a decision to
confess Jesus Christ as Lord and forever be free from the grip of sin and guilt. Keep trusting God to
save the lost in this world and stay alert for opportunities to share your personal story of redemption
with those who are looking for hope today!

Scriptural Prayer:

Glorious Father, we thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for showing us just how great
Your love is by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Thank You for adopting us as
Your children. Lord God, we thank You for the precious gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Your majestic Name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens! We will praise Your Name
forever and ever, for You have all wisdom and power.

Triumphant Father, we declare that the teaching of Your Word gives light so that anyone can
understand it. We commit to sharing the Gospel with our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers
and enemies. We will fulfill The Great Commission by going into all the world and preaching the Good
News to everyone, without prejudice. We confess that as Your Word is preached throughout the world
it will convict the hearts of the unsaved. As the Body of Christ, we are not ashamed to tell the Good
News about Jesus Christ, for we know that it is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes.
We declare that as people confess with their mouths, the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that
You raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. Lord, we decree that those who are set free by the
Son of God will know that they are truly free indeed!

Ask the Holy Spirit for the wisdom to witness to people. Trust Him to give you the courage to
approach them and the words to say to them. List the names of those you’ve witnessed to:

Merciful Father, there is much to be done to gather the great harvest of souls in our generation. Please
send laborers to proclaim the Good News to the unsaved in every nation and every tongue. Strengthen
and protect missionaries around the world who proclaim Christ and do good works. Lord God, we ask
You to circumcise the hearts of those who are backslidden. Lead them back to the path of
righteousness. Remind them of the huge cloud of witnesses that surround them and strengthen them
to strip off every weight that slows them down, especially the sin that so easily trips them up. Please
give them the endurance to continue the race You have set before them. We ask that You help them
to keep their eyes focused on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects their faith.

Precious Father, forgive our family members, friends, co-workers, and enemies who are backsliders or
unbelievers for not acknowledging You or Your Son. Forgive them for rejecting Your love and
forgiveness. Forgive them for living in ruthless rebellion and ignorance of the Truth. Please have mercy

on their souls and extend Your grace toward them. Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for shrinking back
and neglecting to share the Good News with more people. Forgive us for being constrained by fear
instead of being motivated by faith. Forgive us for gossiping, backbiting, and slandering our backslidden
brothers and sisters when we should have been helping them come back to Jesus. Lord, forgive me
for (list the sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our family members, friends, co-
workers, and enemies who are backsliders or unbelievers of those they need to forgive and help them
to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take
a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to
forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any
wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help our family members, friends, co-workers, and enemies who are backsliders or
unbelievers not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
No one is holy like You, Lord! There is no one besides You. There is no Rock like You, our God. Be
exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. You are awesome in Your sanctuary. You are the God of
Israel, who gives power and strength to Your people. Praise be to You, O God! May Your glory shine
over all the earth. Holy, holy, holy are You, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with
Your glory! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #15:
A Declaration for Our Windsor Village Church Family

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 145:1-9, Isaiah 60:1-14

Reflections of the Heart:
Our time under God is definitely now! God is positioning us to seize His promises for our lives. So, as
a Church Family, let us lift our voices together and confess the will of God to manifest in our lives. We
boldly declare that we will manifest God’s Kingdom here on earth!

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, as a Church Family, we are so thankful for Your abundant blessings. Thank You for
dwelling among us and being our God. Thank You for the new experiences we are sharing with You,
our families, friends and Church Family. We are thankful for Your manifested presence in our
lives. You are a wonderful Father! We praise You with our whole hearts. We tell of all the marvelous
things You have done. We are filled with joy because of You. We sing praises to Your Name, O Most
High. Because of Your unfailing love, we can enter Your house. We worship at Your Temple with the
deepest awe. Lord, who can list Your glorious miracles? Who can ever praise You enough? We exalt
and praise You, the God of Israel. You live from everlasting to everlasting!

Awesome Father, as a Church Family, we declare that we walk by faith and not by sight. We are true
worshippers who worship You in spirit and truth. We decree that because we crave the pure spiritual
milk of Your Word, we are growing into the fullness of Your salvation. Faith, hope, and love (especially
love) abides in us. We declare that the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are upon our lives,
families, businesses, communities and church. We release the "let there be factor" into all areas of our
lives. Let there be salvation, healing and deliverance within each of us. Let there be love, joy, favor
and peace in our daily living. Let there be economic prosperity, emotional prosperity, and relational
prosperity. Let there be an increase of God’s wisdom, knowledge and power. Holy Spirit, as You instruct
us, we will receive revelation on how to speak to the conditions and situations that are in our lives.

Today, I declare the following for my life:

Worthy Father, flood our hearts with Your light so that we can see and comprehend the wonderful future
You have promised to us. Holy Spirit, we ask You to show us those areas in our lives that need to
change. Help us to remain steadfast as our relationship with God, our Father, Jesus Christ, our big
brother, and with You, our Sustainer improves daily through prayer, worship and communion. Convict
our hearts when we begin to fall back into old patterns, mindsets, attitudes and behaviors and lead us
in the right way. Holy Spirit, we are depending on You to help us to live victorious, Kingdom lives.

Compassionate Father, the Bible states that we have all sinned and fallen short of Your glory. It is our
desire to walk with You and trust in You. Please forgive us for our sins. Forgive us for pride,
unforgiveness, deception, dishonesty, rebellion, cheating, stealing, gossiping, backbiting and anything
else that dishonors You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit,
remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit,
bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal

names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, "I forgive name
of person(s)." Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, as a Church Family help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Great and marvelous are Your actions, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, King of the
nations. Who will not fear, Lord, and glorify Your Name? You alone are Holy. Your throne, O God,
endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice. You love justice and hate evil. In Jesus’
Name, Amen.
