A few Scriptures are provided below.I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!\" - Mark 1:8 NLTThe angel replied, \"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby born to you will be holy, and He will be called the Son of God.” - Luke 1:35 NLT And the Holy Spirit descended on Him in the form of a dove. And a voice from heaven said, \"You are my beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with You.\" - Luke 3:22 NLT \"And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.\" - Luke 24:49 NLT Then He breathed on them and said to them, \"Receive the Holy Spirit.” - John 20:22 NLT John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.\" - Acts 1:5 3

HOW TO USE YOUR KINGDOM BUILDERS’ POWER GUIDE Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the topics that we have asked of Him. I John 5:14-15The Power Guide is designed as a tool for study, reflection and prayer. Each prayer is written based on the model of the Lord’s Prayer (see Matthew 6:9-13). In order to maximize the use of your guide, please follow the listed instructions.1. Set aside a few minutes each day to pray individually, with your family or prayer partner(s).Gradually build your prayer time with the Lord to at least thirty (30) to sixty (60) minutes eachday. You can split up your prayer time, if necessary, and pray a few minutes in the morningand evening. You choose the time of day that is good for you. Find a comfortable place topray and turn off any distractions. If you have small children who need most of your attention, pray the daily prayer with them. Let God’s Word saturate their hearing.2. Refer to the Prayer Topics Calendar on page 7 for the specific prayer for the day. Only prayfor the prayer topic that is assigned to that day so that we are unified in our daily praying. Please do not get ahead of the prayer for the day. Before praying the “Scriptural Prayer,” firstread the Scriptures listed for “Scripture Reading.”3. Pray the assigned prayer out loud. There is power in your verbal expression. These prayers are intended to be a springboard to help you with your prayerful conversations.Trust the Holy Spirit to help you to expand upon the prayer that you are praying for the day.If you speak in tongues, please pray in tongues over each prayer topic. Relax, listen and enjoythe Lord.5. Record any reflections, revelations, or inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in the PrayerExpectation section at the end of the Power Guide.6. Believe that the Lord is hearing your prayer and know in your heart that your praying willproduce God’s results for the prayer topic you are praying for.7. Prayer Topic #1: A Prayer for Our GraduatesScripture Reading:Psalm 92:1-4, Matthew 3:13-17Scriptural Prayer:Gracious Father, we thank You for our graduates. Thank You for being the source of all wisdom. Thank You for the plans that You have for each of their lives; plans for good and not evil, so that they will each have a future and a hope. We give thanks to You, Lord. We call upon Your Name and make Your Name known among the people. We will sing psalms to You, Lord and talk about all of Your wondrous works.Blessed Father, we declare that our graduates will not turn away from Your Word. They will meditate on it day and night so that they will be successful in everything they do. As they continue their education or enter the job market, we confess that they will trust in You with all their hearts and not depend on their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all they do, so that You will direct their paths. Lord, many of our youth are leaving home for the first time. We declare that they have been taught to choose the right path, so now that they are older, they will remain on that path. They will choose Christ over culture and holiness over worldliness. Godly wisdom will lead and guide each graduate so that in all they do, they will not gain the world and lose their souls. We expect favor to surround each of our graduates as they enter this new phase in life.Loving Father, encourage our graduates and their families at this time. Please help our graduates to surround themselves with like-minded individuals. Holy Spirit, please remind them that the decisions they make today will have an impact on their future. Open doors for them that no man can shut. Help them to identify and take advantage of scholarships, grants, internship opportunities and job leads. As they begin this new season in their lives, remind them to continually seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously so that the Father will provide them with all that they need.Merciful Father, please forgive our graduates for any acts of sinfulness that they have committed. Forgive them if they have made poor decisions during their time in high school or college that is now limiting their future. Forgive them for any illicit, illegal or inappropriate behavior that they engaged in while they were in school. Forgive those who have disrespected their parents, teachers, friends or themselves. As for me Holy Spirit, forgive me for any sins I have committed. Holy Spirit, remind our graduates of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)Holy Spirit, please help our graduates not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.Triumphant King, You are the Lord, our Redeemer and Creator. Thank You for provision that enables families to love one another, raise children with a Godly foundation and be an example of unity within their communities. They will sing praises to You, Lord, and declare that You are the King over all of the earth! Almighty Father, You are the light and salvation in the lives of families, so they will not be afraid. You are their fortress, protecting them from danger so they will not tremble. We declare that they will live peacefully and safely in their workplaces and homes and that their homes will be places of rest. We decree that families are vibrant and prosperous through the use of their gifts and talents. They will depart from evil and do good; they will search for peace and work to maintain it. Lord, we expect that You will always put a wall of protection around them, their homes and properties, and You will allow them to prosper in everything they do. In the authority given to them by Jesus Christ, families will cancel the assignments of the spirits of fear, intimidation, theft, vandalism, murder, destruction, discord and perversion from their homes and workplaces. Merciful Father, remind families that the greatest resource of peace and protection is the Lord God Almighty. Incline their hearts to seek Him first and search His Word for wisdom, comfort, refuge and direction. In Jesus’ Name, we declare that our singles are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. They do only those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. Our singles do not despise their singlehood; they embrace it. Their thoughts are fixed on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and worthy of praise. We declare that wisdom will enter their hearts and knowledge will fill them with joy. Wise choices will watch over them and understanding will keep them safe. Rise up, O God, in Texas and scatter Your enemies. Let crime, murder and lawlessness be scattered. Let homelessness, unemployment and corporate greed be scattered. Holy Spirit, fill the halls of the schools in our state so that our children and youth will be safe and will obtain a quality education. Father, please open doors for economic increase within our communities. Help the homeowners in Texas to successfully maintain their property and pay their mortgages and taxes on time. Let equality and justice flow through the Medical Center so that everyone receives quality, affordable health care. Let Your perfect love and peace preside over our city and state. Holy Spirit, help Texas to stand as a beacon of light and hope for the nation to see what a Godly state looks like. Righteous Father, forgive the people of our state for hypocrisy, injustice, oppression, greed, racism, sexism, ageism, elitism, deceit, lying, lewdness, pornography, selfish ambitions, lawlessness, rebellion, violence, hatred, partiality, sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, and slander. Forgive us for not equipping and preparing the next generation with the tools, knowledge, and self-confidence they will need to be effective, efficient leaders for tomorrow. Lord, forgive the Body of Christ for not praying consistently for our leaders, city, state and nation. Lord, forgive me for any sins I may have committed. Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)Holy Spirit, help the residents of the state of Texas not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.Eternal Lord, You are Holy. You are the blessed and only Almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords. You alone can never die, and lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No one has ever seen You, nor ever will. To You be honor and power forever. In Jesus’ Name, amen.Scripture References for the Written Text (NKJV): Psalm 86:8-10, Psalm 136:1, II Chronicles 7:14-16, Zechariah 1:17, Amos 5:24, I Timothy 2:2, Isaiah 61:6-7, Psalm 68:1, Matthew 6:13, I Timothy 6:15-16 24
