HOW TO USE THE POWER GUIDE
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
-- I John 5:14-15
The Power Guide is designed as a tool for study, reflection and prayer. Each prayer is written based on the model of the Lord’s Prayer (see Matthew 6:9- 13).
In order to maximize the use of your guide, please follow the listed instructions.
1. Set aside a few minutes each day to pray individually, with your family or prayer partner(s). Gradually build your prayer time with the Lord to at least thirty (30) to sixty (60) minutes each day. You can split up your prayer time, if necessary, and pray a few minutes in the morning and evening. You choose the time of day that is good for you. Find a comfortable place to pray and turn off any distractions. If you have small children who need most of your attention, pray the daily prayer with them. Let God’s Word saturate their hearing.
2. Refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar on page 6 for the specific prayer for the day. Only pray for the prayer topic that is assigned to that day so that we are unified in our daily praying. Please do not get ahead of the prayer for the day. Before praying the “Scriptural Prayer,” first read the Scriptures listed for “Scripture Reading.”
3. Pray the assigned prayer out loud. There is power in your verbal expression. Parents, please encourage your children to pray their prayer topics in the Children’s Power Guide out loud. Youth (ages 13-17) may use the Adult Power Guide.
4. These prayers are intended to be a springboard to help you with your prayerful conversations. Trust the Holy Spirit to help you to expand upon the prayer that you are praying for
4

the day. If you speak in tongues, please pray in tongues over each prayer topic. Relax, listen and enjoy the Lord.
5. Record any reflections, revelations, or inspiration given by the Holy Spirit in the Prayer Expectation section at the end of the Power Guide.
6. Believe that the Lord is hearing your prayer and know in your heart that your praying will produce God’s results for the prayer topic for which you are praying.
7. After praying, make your daily power confession by using the Daily Power Confessions located on page 51 in the back of your Power Guide. When you speak God’s Word over your life, you activate the power of His Word to work in your life and produce God’s results for your life. Expect God’s Word to transform your life. I also recommend that you speak the Power Confessions over your family.
8. All members are asked to attend Victory Wednesday on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at The KBC. Please refer to the Prayer Topic Calendar for your assigned Wednesday to attend Victory Wednesday. Assignments are listed based on the first letter of your last name.
9. Enjoy your time spent with the Lord and thank you for helping to implement God’s plans for our Church Family.
God Bless You!
Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell

Prayer Topic #1:
A Prayer of Thanksgiving for Salvation
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 99, John 3:1-21
Reflections of the Heart:
“The Blood of Jesus washes away our past and the Name of Jesus opens up our future.” Pastor Jessie Duplantis
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your tender mercies and unfailing love. Thank You for providing a way for sinners to be reconciled back to You. Thank You for enlightening our hearts to say “yes” to You when You called us. Lord, You are very great and Your power is absolute. Your understanding is beyond comprehension. We come clapping our hands and shouting joyful praises to You, our God. Most High, You are awesome. You are the great King of all the earth. We meditate on Your unfailing love as we worship in Your temple. Your Name will be praised to the ends of the earth. We honor You as our Lord and Savior.
Our Father, it is Your desire that all people be saved and understand the truth. We are grateful that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the only gate by which people are saved. Therefore, we commit to sharing the Gospel with our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies. We will not be afraid or intimidated, but we will share the Good News of Jesus Christ with boldness, confidence and love. We are thankful that when our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies confess with their mouths, the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead, they will be saved. Father, we declare that they will know the truth, and the truth will set them free. As the Body of Christ, we gladly take the great commission and go into the world preaching the Good News to everyone You place in our paths. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because we know that it is Your power that is at work, saving everyone who believes.
List the names of people you have witnessed to about Jesus Christ:

Gracious Father, we cry out to You to clear the way so that Your Gospel may be preached in every city, state, country, and continent. Since the harvest is plentiful, continue to send laborers to proclaim Your Word of salvation to the unsaved. We ask You to remove the scales that keep them from seeing Your goodness and faithfulness. Surround them with the counsel of the Godly so that they may be washed in the water of Your Word; stripped of the old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds, and put on their new nature so that they will be renewed as they learn to know their Creator and become like Him. Holy Spirit, we ask You to circumcise the hearts of those who are in a backslidden state. Like the prodigal child, help them to come to themselves and return to You, their first love. Remind them that nothing can ever separate them from God’s love; not death, life, angels, demons, fears for today or worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate them from the Father’s love. Help us, the Body of Christ, to present the Gospel with compassion, hope and patience.
Forgiving Father, forgive us for all acts of sin, including disobedience, hatred, rebellion and idolatry. Forgive those who have rejected Your Gospel. Please have mercy upon them and extend Your grace toward them. Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for not sharing Jesus and the Gospel with more people. Forgive us for being timid and reserved about sharing the Gospel. Forgive us for not reaching out to those who we know are in a backslidden state. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them to you, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to You, the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #2:
A Declaration of Worship to God, Our Father
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 44:1-8, Deuteronomy 7:1-15
Reflections of the Heart:
Our God is an awesome God. He is kind, tenderhearted, and merciful. Our Father loves us with an everlasting love and He is always concerned about our welfare. All that we need He provides through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. God should always be revered and adored. He should have our utmost respect. Today, bless the Lord. Lift up your praises to the One who is the living God; our God who is our Father.
Scriptural Prayer:
Mighty Father, we thank You for Your love and compassion. Thank You for keeping Your covenant with us throughout the ages. Thank You for making us Your people. We bless Your Holy Name. We proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning and Your faithfulness in the evening. Lord, You are compassionate, merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Your unfailing love toward those who fear You is as great as the height of the heavens are above the earth. Let the whole world fear You, Lord. Let everyone stand in awe of You. Lord, You spoke and the world began; it appeared at Your command. You breathed the Word, and all the stars were born. Lord, You are our inheritance, in You will we hope. What a joy it is to be one of Your children. Father, You are good and Your faithful love endures forever.
Wonderful Father, we reverence and honor You. You are our God and we submit our loyalty and adoration to You. You are the only true God. You are the living God and the everlasting King! Father, all of Your works will thank You, Lord and we, Your faithful followers, bless You. You are so awesome! We declare that we will keep Your commandments, walk in Your ways, and fear You. Father, Your instructions are perfect, reviving our souls. Your decrees are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Your commandments are right, bringing joy to our hearts. Your commands are clear, giving insight for living. Revering You is pure, lasting forever. Your laws are true and each one is fair. Father, Your Word is more desirable than gold, yes, even the finest gold. Your Word is sweeter than honey dripping from the honeycomb. Your Word warns us and we expect great reward as we adhere to it. Father,

Loving Father, please let Your ears be attentive to our prayer. Holy Spirit, teach us how to reverence and adore our Father in true holiness. Please touch the hearts of those in our congregation who do not reverence and adore You, and help them to love You with all their hearts, souls, and strength. Holy Spirit, place in us a hunger and thirst for Your righteousness, so that we will be filled.
Gracious Father, forgive us for sins of pride, arrogance, rebellion, disobedience, selfishness, hatred, idolatry, and lack of faith. Lord, forgive us for half-hearted worship. Forgive us for disrespecting Your Name and treating You irreverently. Forgive those of us who are parents for not teaching our children to reverence and adore You. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the God who is, and who always was, and who is still to come – the Almighty One. All honor and glory belongs to You, God, forever and ever! You are the eternal King, the unseen One who will never die; You alone are God. Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Prayer Topic #3:
A Blessing for Our Windsor Village Church Family Scripture Reading:
Psalm 136, Isaiah 62
Reflections of the Heart:
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)
Scriptural Prayer:
Righteous Father, we thank You for our Pastors and our Windsor Village Church Family. Thank You, Lord, for Your blessings upon our church, families, homes, and jobs. Thank You for Your amazing presence in our lives both corporately and individually. Father, may Your glorious Name be praised! We exalt Your Name above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord, You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship You. We will give to You, Lord, the glory You deserve. We will bring our offering as we come into Your presence. We will worship You in all of Your holy splendor.
Blessed Father, let it be unto us according to Your Word. As a Church Family, we confess that as we come close to You, You will come close to us. We expect that all Your blessings will come upon us and overtake us because we have obeyed Your voice. We confess that our towns and our fields are blessed. Our children and the works of our hands are blessed. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we are blessed. We decree that we will be refreshed by the autumn rains as well as the rains of spring. Lord, we confess that You will restore unto us that which was lost and we will eat in plenty and be satisfied. According to Your Word, we declare that we will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonor, we will possess a double portion of honor. We will possess a double portion of prosperity in the land and everlasting joy will be ours. We declare that our marriages are blessed and holy, our families are whole and saved, and our bodies are healthy and strong.
What has changed in your life because of ministry which you have received here at Windsor Village?

Holy Spirit, as the blessings begin to overtake us, remind us to be a blessing to others. Flood our hearts with light so that we can understand the confident hope that the Father has given us, His holy people, who are His rich and glorious inheritance. Remind us to always be thankful to God. Help us to understand that it is God who gives us the power to be successful so that the covenant He made with our ancestors will be confirmed. Lord, please help us to be faithful to the vision of our church.
Merciful Father, please forgive us for the sins of disobedience, hypocrisy, selfish-ambitions, pride, gossip, and perversion. Forgive us where we have misappropriated Your blessings in the past. Forgive us for not studying Your Word like we should. Forgive us for depending on our own strength and intellect instead of Your supernatural power and authority. Forgive us for not operating in the fruit of Your Spirit. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. Triumphant Lord, You are our stronghold. The heavens declare Your glory and the skies display Your craftsmanship. You are the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth. Lord, You are worthy to receive glory, honor, and power. You created all things and they exist because You created what You pleased. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #4:
A Declaration of Faith
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 149, Hebrews 11
Reflections of the Heart:
Faith is defined as belief that is not based upon proof. As Christians, we should have immovable faith in God and His Word. Decide today that absolutely nothing will shake your faith in the promises of our Heavenly Father!
Scriptural Prayer:
Eternal Father, we thank You for being in relationship with us. Thank You for drawing us into Your holy family through the meritorious works of Jesus Christ. Thank You for creating us to be kings of The King and lords of The Lord. Thank You for sending us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us on this faith walk. Father, Your way is perfect. All of Your promises prove true. You are a shield to those who look to You for protection. There is no God except You Lord; You are a solid rock. Lord, we bless You, the One who guides us. We know that You are always with us.
Righteous Father, as citizens of Your Kingdom, we are righteous people who live by faith. We declare that we will trust in You with all of our hearts and not depend on our own understanding. We will seek Your will in all that we do and in every situation, we will trust that You will show us which path to take. We will strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. We will run with endurance the race that You have set before us; keeping our eyes on Jesus, the Champion, who initiates and perfects our faith. We will seek Your Kingdom above all else, and live righteously, and trust that You will give us everything that we need. Father God, we will stand on Your Word and put all of our faith and confidence in You because we know that You are not a man that You should lie, nor the son of man that You should repent. As Kingdom citizens, we will trust You with our finances, families, businesses, relationships and every other area of our lives. We confess that our works will reflect the faith that we have in You, our Father.
15

Write down those areas that the Holy Spirit reveals to you that you need to increase your faith. Now, ask Him for a strategy to work on those areas: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, please help each member of our Church Family to relinquish control to You to lead their lives. Help each member to transform the way they think by meditating on the Word, so that they will embrace and walk in their Kingdom authority and rights. Help our parents and guardians to model and teach Kingdom faith to their children and youth. Holy Spirit, please show us all those areas in our lives where our faith is faltering and reveal the tools that we need to increase our faith in those areas. Lord, there are some who have had so many disappointments in life that they have a hard time walking by faith. Please help them to get the help they need to process those disappointments and heal those internal wounds, so that they can begin to walk in their Kingdom authority.
Compassionate Father, please forgive us for not having complete faith in You at all times. Forgive us for having more faith in ourselves, our jobs, our finances, our gifts and talents and other people than we do in You. Forgive us for harboring dead faith. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Triumphant Lord, all glory belongs to You, who alone are God. All glory, majesty, power and authority are Yours before all time and in the present and beyond all time! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer Topic #5:
A Prayer Regarding Poverty
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 81:1-10, James 2:1-12
Reflections of the Heart:
“I believe that as long as there is plenty, poverty is evil.” ~ Robert Kennedy
Scriptural Prayer:
Glorious Father, we thank You for Your all-encompassing love. Thank You for giving us the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who will never leave us, but will lead us into all truth. We thank You for being the God who gives justice to the poor. Your eternal Word stands firm in heaven. Your faithfulness extends to every generation. Your regulations remain true to this day, for everything serves Your plans. We will never forget Your commandments, for, by them, You give us life. We give You praise and glory, Father! We adore You as the One who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from You alone, for You rule over everything. Power and might are in Your hand, and at Your discretion, people are made great and given strength. Hallelujah to Your Holy Name!
Divine Father, we understand that poverty is a spiritual oppression that manifests itself in lack, debt, shame, despair and injustice. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, we cancel the assignments of the spirit of poverty! We declare that our Church Family has been anointed to respond with wise, decisive action to the curse of poverty through the provision of jobs, homes, businesses, services and community support. As kings of the King and lords of the Lord, we have the power to abolish poverty from our communities because we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. As a Church Family, we commit to spreading the Good News about Jesus Christ, and presenting the truth in love. We will live by Your higher standard; doing what is right and just to bring hope and freedom to all people. We will not judge nor will we give favoritism or criticism based on outward appearances. We will love our neighbors as ourselves.
18

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal how you can be a blessing to the poor in your community: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, as a Church Family, show us how to live with the Father’s global purpose in mind and not just for ourselves. Open our eyes and ears to opportunities to be used by God to bring divine intervention to someone else’s situation. Bring us, as a Church Family, closer together in unity and brotherly love. Help us to remain consistent in prayer and intercession for people who are impoverished physically, mentally and spiritually. Give us pure hearts to serve and to love unconditionally. Teach us how to use our influence to bring about justice for those who are disenfranchised and demoralized by the oppression of lack. Holy Spirit, please give our local, state and national leaders wisdom and divine strategies to solve the socio-economic disparities in our city, state and nation.
Forgiving Father, please forgive us for thinking and living selfishly, for putting our desires before the needs of others. Forgive us for taking Your commandments lightly and causing others to suffer lack because of our greed. Forgive us, as the Body of Christ, for being passive about our position in the world as salt and light. Forgive us for unfairly judging others because of their appearances or conditions without knowing their stories. As a nation, forgive us for lusting after wealth and affluence, and for doing less than our best to extend ourselves to help other nations in need. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of all those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.
We exalt You, Lord! You are the blessed and only almighty God. You are King of all kings and Lord of all lords. You alone can never die. You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. All honor and power are Yours forever! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #6:
A Declaration of Kingdom Financial Prosperity
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 113, Deuteronomy 6:10-25
Reflections of the Heart:
“As a king of the King, I will make choices so that my God-given domain positions me for blessings, delight, provision and prohibition. I choose to get ready for my new life as a king!” ~ Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our provider. Thank You for giving us Your Word on how to make our way prosperous and successful. Father, thank You for surrounding us with Your favor like a shield as we do business in our public and private lives. Thank You for continuing to open doors of opportunity. Thank You, Father, for Your Word to use as our economic strong tower during these trying financial times. We praise You with all of our hearts; we will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. Your reign is forever. You execute judgment from Your throne. You judge the world with justice and the people righteously. Lord, You are a shelter for the oppressed and a refuge in times of trouble. We trust in You because we know Your Name; we know that You do not abandon those who search for You. Father, Your righteousness reaches to the highest heavens. You have done wonderful things! Who can compare with You?
Glorious Father, we declare that we are blessed because we fear You, and delight in obeying Your commands. We believe that Your plans for our finances are for good and not for disaster, to give us a prosperous future and a hope. As we are willing and obedient, according to Your Word, we will have plenty to eat. We will trust in You because we know that Your Word is Truth. We confess that our confidence is in You and not in our jobs, our investments, our bank accounts or ourselves. We commit to seeking Your Kingdom first above all things and living righteously and we know that You will give us everything we need. We rebuke old mindsets, habits and behavior patterns that have created lack and poverty. In the Name of Jesus, we stand united against thoughts of failure, defeat and mediocrity. According to Your Word, we confess that we will be wealthy and our good deeds will last forever.
21

Find two scriptures concerning finances and begin declaring them over your life, today: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, we ask You to help those who are drowning in financial debt. Lead them to someone who can help them to manage their finances better. As we receive increases in our finances, help us, Holy Spirit, to remember that You are the One who provides abundance. Please help us to not hoard Your financial blessings. Your Word says that when we help the poor, we are lending to the Lord and He will repay our generosity. So please, Holy Spirit, remind us to be generous and to look for opportunities to be a financial blessing to someone else in need. Teach us Your Way to love people and to use money, rather than the devil’s way of loving money and using people.
Merciful Father, forgive us for all acts of sin including idolatry, greed, stinginess, self-centeredness, arrogance, pride, stubbornness, financial disobedience and any other act of unrighteousness. Forgive those of us who continue to participate in the downward spiral of financial mismanagement. Forgive those of us who, whether in ignorance or in rebellion, fail to develop financial plans that include tithing, debt reduction, savings and investments. Forgive us for living beyond our means and misusing credit cards. Father, forgive those members of the Body of Christ who do not pay their tithes and help them to get on track and begin to tithe.
Glorious Lord, You made the earth by the power of Your Word and preserve it by Your Wisdom. With Your own understanding You stretched out the heavens. When You speak in the thunder, You announce that the heavens are filled with water. You cause the clouds to rise over the earth. You send the lightning with the rain and release the wind from Your storehouses. Holy,

Prayer Topic #7:
A Prayer for Families in Distress
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 145:1-13, Ephesians 5:15-33, 6:1-4
Reflections of the Heart:
Families come in a variety of sizes and dynamics. Whether you are single, a single parent, widowed, married with children or married without children; each family is an expression of God. Praise and thank God for your family.
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our souls honor You. Thank You for our family relationships. We thank You for peace umpiring our familial relationships and interactions. Lord, we thank You for fulfilling Your plans and purposes in our lives and for surrounding us with favor like a shield. Thank You for blessing us continually with Your loving-kindness and tender mercies. Your mercy endures forever. You are great and Your power is absolute. Your understanding is beyond comprehension. We love You and extol Your Holy Name. Out of the mouths of babes and infants, You have ordained strength. What are mere mortals that You should think of them, human beings that You should care for them?
Glorious Father, we declare that our families will live in peaceful habitations, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places. We declare that stability, salvation, love, wisdom and knowledge abide in each home. Lord, we rebuke the spirits of argument, slander, strife, perversion, violence, offense, lies, rebellion, disobedience and cruelty in our families. We break all soul ties, strongholds and generational curses in our family bloodlines. No weapon formed against our families will prosper. We declare that everything the devil means for evil will be turned around by our God for the good of our families. We call for a spiritual renewal and restoration in our families. Father, we will hold fast to the confession of our faith without wavering. We confess that the love of God will reign supreme in our homes and the peace of God is an umpire in our family relationships. We decree that because our families seek Your Kingdom above all else, and live righteously, we will have everything that we stand in need of.
24

Holy Spirit, I declare the following promises of God to manifest in my family: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Wonderful Father, we ask that You give our family members one heart and put a new spirit within all of us. Where there are strained relationships in our families, please turn our hearts back to one another. Holy Spirit, please begin to heal the wounds that family secrets have inflicted on the souls and minds of some of our members. Lead them to competent Christian counseling to help them process their pain. Give us Your wisdom. Let discretion preserve us and understanding keep us from the way of evil. Please unite our families closer together. Father, open the lines of communication in our homes so that there is a good rapport in our families. Please keep our children and youth as the apples of Your eye. Let Your peace, love and understanding reside in our families. Lord, some of our families are in dire need of help. Please rescue them and give them wisdom on how to begin to repair and rebuild those damaged relationships.
Merciful Father, please forgive our families for sin. Forgive us for allowing our jobs to be a greater priority than our families. Forgive us for taking our loved ones for granted. Forgive us for not praying for our family members consistently. Forgive us for strife, anger, envy, jealousy, adultery and for verbal or physical abuse within our homes. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive and help me to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help our families not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Sovereign Lord, You are King! You are robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Your throne has stood from time immemorial. You are from the everlasting past. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #8:
A Prayer Concerning Overcoming Addictions
Scripture Reading:
I Chronicles 16:23-30, Romans 7:14-25, 8:1
Reflections of the Heart:
Sometimes, we experience things in life that grip us and won’t let us go. We submit to cravings and desires that, over time, dominate and control us. But, thank God, there is a way out, and His Name is Jesus Christ!
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, the Name that is above all names. Thank You for giving us the power of the Holy Spirit which is greater than any power that exists in this world. Thank You for never giving up on us, even when we fail time after time. You are so merciful and kind. We cannot live without You, Lord. We will praise You with our whole hearts. We will tell of the marvelous things You have done. We are filled with joy because of You, Most High, and we sing praises to Your Name! We know You to be a shelter for us when we are oppressed and troubled. You never abandon those who search for You. Lord, we love You. You are our strength. You are the Rock in whom we find protection and safety. Your Name is worthy of praise!
Faithful Father, it is not Your will for us to be lost and held captive by addictions to drugs, alcohol, sex, food, gambling, or any other vices. We decree that whoever the Son has set free is truly free. Therefore, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that seeks to destroy the lives of those within our Church Family, our personal families, and in our community. There is no other name that is powerful enough to save our loved ones who are bound by addiction than the Name of Jesus. We are the righteous, and our earnest prayers have great power, producing wonderful results. We will not waver and doubt when things seem to get worse instead of better. We know that You will respond to our faith. Therefore, we declare that we will not cease to pray until our loved ones who are bound by addiction are released and delivered. We declare, in the Name of Jesus, that our homes, our families, and our communities are restored back to You!
List the names of friends, family, or neighbors who are struggling to break free of an addiction. Commit to pray specifically for them today:

Holy Spirit, make us keenly aware of those within our Church Family and community who are hurting and bound. Give us a heart of compassion toward them. Show us how to reach out to them without judging or condemning them. Remind us of Your love and grace that brought us through our trials. Heal those who are bound by addiction in every area of their hurt. Strengthen and help those who have been hurt by the fallout of addiction - the grandparents raising grandchildren, incarcerated parents, abandoned and abused children, impoverished families, and those who have lost loved ones due to addiction. Help us, as a Church Family, to build better partnerships with community organizations who are reaching out to house, educate, and rehabilitate those who want to come out of addiction. May we be salt and light to them as the Lord has commanded.
Righteous Father, please forgive us for not being there when we should have for those who turned to drugs for comfort. Forgive us for judging and condemning those who are addicted. Forgive us for overlooking opportunities to show love and compassion to the hurting families who are suffering from the effects of addiction. Forgive those who are addicted for turning to something unholy for help instead of turning to You. Forgive them for not responding to the voice of wisdom and making unhealthy choices in life. Forgive those of us who have at one time, knowingly or unknowingly, contributed to the cause of another’s addiction. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who are addicted of all those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help those who are addicted not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Glorious Lord, ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything You made, we can clearly see Your invincible qualities - Your eternal power and Your divine nature. O Sovereign Lord, You have only begun to show Your greatness and the strength of Your hand

Prayer Topic #9:
A Prayer for Healing and Deliverance from Cancer
Scripture Reading:
Luke 1:47-55, Isaiah 53:4-5
Reflections of the Heart:
As you pray for those who you know are dealing with cancer, pray with boldness, knowing that Jesus’ Name is greater than any sickness, disease or condition.
Scriptural Prayer:
Faithful Father, we are thankful for Jesus, the Living Word, who is seated at Your right hand. We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good. Your faithful love endures forever. Who can list Your glorious miracles, Lord? We give thanks to You, Jesus, for You took our sicknesses and removed our diseases. We give thanks to You for You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross, and freed us from the bondage of death. By Your wounds, we were healed. Holy Spirit, we thank You for Your power that brings healing to our bodies and souls. Father, we will exalt You, our God and King, and praise Your Name forever and ever. Daily, we will praise You, for You are great and most worthy of praise! No one can measure Your greatness. We will meditate on Your majestic, glorious splendor and Your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; we will proclaim Your greatness.
Glorious Father, You are our Healer, and Your Word declares everyone who calls on Your Name will be saved. By the authority in Your Name, we decree that all forms and types of cancer within the bodies of Your people will no longer have dominion. We decree that no weapon formed against the spiritual and physical bodies of Your people will prosper. We cancel the devil’s assignments to destroy their bodies with carcinoma, sarcoma, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and all forms of cancer, including the central nervous system. We declare that all malignant and abnormal cells are dying; they are no longer dividing and spreading through the blood or lymph systems. We trust in You, our God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing; therefore, we declare life and restoration into their bodies. By faith, we boldly command complete healing of the immune system in the bodies of Your children. Lord, we decree that You are their light and salvation, so they will not be afraid. You are their fortress,
30

their protection from danger, so they will not tremble. We command peace to be still in their lives as they are being made whole by the miraculous power of God.
Today, I will cry out to the Lord as I pray in faith for:

Holy Spirit, please help those who are overcoming cancer to set their hope on You so that they will continue to obey God’s commands and not forget His glorious miracles. Continue to use all health professionals as instruments of healing; through the practice of medicine, prayer offered in faith, the laying on of hands and other means of healing that You have ordained. Give researchers divine insight into the causes, diagnoses and treatment of cancers. Strengthen those persons who are suffering with these conditions in their bodies, and help them to live out their faith in You. Increase their endurance and patience as they walk through the healing process. Fill them with Your presence and remind them that You will never fail or abandon them. Daily remind them that there is nothing too hard for God and with Him, everything is possible. Surround them with Your peace as they undergo chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery or other cancer treatment methods. Touch the hearts of family members to provide an atmosphere of faith, hope and love.
Gracious God, forgive us for doubting Your love and power to heal our bodies. Forgive us for being irresponsible with our health. Forgive us for not acknowledging the abundance of Your healing virtue, grace and mercy which we have received through our Lord and Savior. Forgive us for ungodly behavior including: unforgiveness, bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Forgive our nation for creating unhealthy conditions in our food supply and environment. We confess our sinfulness for we have not always obeyed Your commandments and lived faithfully in Your Word. Have mercy upon us according to Your Word. Prayer Topic #10:
A Prayer for Mental Healing
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 8, Psalm 40:1-8
Reflections of the Heart:
Today, we receive comfort in God’s Word, “Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)
Scriptural Prayer:
Glorious Father, we thank You for giving us Your peace and joy. Thank You for providing a life of hope, abundance, and destiny. Thank You for being our strength in times of weakness. You are great and most worthy of praise. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean’s depths. You are the King of glory; the Lord strong and mighty. You are the Lord, invincible in battle. O Lord, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. We are grateful that when we, Your people, call to You for help, You hear and rescue us out of our troubles.
Omniscient Father, You said that You would give rest to all who are weary and heavy burdened. Your yoke is easy and Your burdens are light. We are supposed to trust in You with all of our hearts and not depend on our own understanding. We are to seek Your will in all that we do and You will show us which path to take. You are the God who will bring rest to our souls. We trust in Your Word and believe that Your Word will be operative in the hearts and souls of those with mental illnesses. We confess that when they walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive them and stretch forth Your hand and save them. Lord, You have left Your gift of peace of mind with them so their hearts will not be afraid. Although they may be pressed on every side by troubles, they will not be crushed and broken. They may feel perplexed, but they will not give up and quit. They may be hunted down, but You will never abandon them. They may be knocked down, but they will get up and keep going. Father, we confess that they will lie down without fear and enjoy
33

pleasant dreams. They will not be afraid of the threat of disaster or destruction; for You are their security.
Find God’s promises concerning peace and begin to declare them over those people who you know are stressed and overburdened by life: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Loving Father, we ask You to replace their sadness with joy, defeat with victory, and fatigue with praise. Help those who feel depressed or sad to not focus on their circumstances, but rather focus on Your blessings in their lives. Remind them to praise You at all times. Holy Spirit, bring all things to their memory that concern the Father’s plans for their lives. Give them power as they meditate on the Word. Help them to keep God’s commandments and embrace them in their hearts. Father, help them to not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word. Holy Spirit, we ask that You strengthen and renew their innermost being. Prevent the fiery darts of the enemy from consuming them. Help them to hear Your voice and obey Your will. Help them to find and surround themselves with Believers who are strong in the Word and in faith who will keep them accountable as they walk through this season.
Merciful Father, forgive those in need of mental healing for their sins. Forgive them for worry and fear. Forgive them for being anxious. Forgive them for not being diligent in fasting and praying. Forgive them for not trusting You at all times.
You are the Lord God Almighty! Let the whole world glorify You, Lord; let it sing Your praises! You will march forth like a mighty hero. You will come out like a warrior, full of fury. You will shout Your battle cry and crush all

Prayer Topic #11:
A Prayer for the Educational System in the Greater Houston Area
Scripture Reading:
Psalms 92:1-8, Romans 12:6-7, James 3:1-12, 17-18
Reflections of the Heart:
Aside from their parents, teachers have one of the greatest impacts on a child’s life. The words that educators speak into our children’s lives will either reinforce or conflict with what they receive from their parents. Let’s pray for those who are seeding into our children; that they will be led and directed by Godly wisdom and discernment.
Scriptural Prayer:
Eternal Father, we bless You. Thank You, Lord, for the educators who instruct and guide our children. Thank You for the school districts in the Greater Houston Area including Houston Independent School District (ISD), Fort Bend ISD, Pearland ISD, Alvin ISD, Alief ISD, Spring Branch ISD, Katy ISD, and Conroe ISD. Thank You for sending men and women who are committed to providing quality education for our children in all grade levels; regardless of ethnicity or economic status. We praise Your Name with singing and honor You with thanksgiving. We praise You, Lord God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth! The Godly will rejoice in You, Lord, and find shelter. And those who do what is right will praise You. Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; Your justice is like the ocean depths.
Lord of Heaven’s Armies, as kings of the King, and lords of the Lord, we command justice to run down like water within our local school districts and righteousness like a mighty stream. We decree that equality will rule in every ISD in the Greater Houston Area. As the teachers prepare their curriculum and programming, we confess that the same quality of education they would expect their child to receive is the same quality that they will sow into the lives of our children. We declare that the educators, board members and administrators of our school districts, who confess the Name of Jesus, will trust in You with all of their hearts and not lean to their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all that they do and we trust You to direct their paths as they lead and guide our children. We decree that when it comes to
36

educating our children, the educators, board members and administrators will do what is right, just, and fair and they will find the right way to go. Wisdom will enter their heart and knowledge will fill them with joy. Wise choices will watch over them and understanding will keep them safe. Father, You do not show favoritism, so we declare that our educators, board members and administrators will not show favoritism when it comes to allocating resources and funds.
This month, I will pray for the teachers at the following school:

Holy Spirit, please draw any unbelieving educators, board members and administrators to our Father. Dispatch laborers into their paths who will minister to them the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they will call upon His Name and be saved. Please grant wisdom to our educators and help them to receive Your knowledge and understanding. Lord, grant a treasure of common sense to those who are honest and be a shield to those who walk with integrity. Please improve the lines of communication between the educators and the parents. Reveal any deceit, injustice, racism, or sexism. Convict the hearts of those who are doing wrong so that they will turn from their wickedness and do what is right. Encourage those who are committed to our children and providing an excellent education.
Merciful Father, forgive those teachers who allow their personal feelings to affect how they educate our children. Forgive those school board members who abuse their authority to further their own agendas and causes. Forgive those administrators for racism, sexism, lying, cheating, and stealing. Forgive those ISD employees and officials for not being impartial and fair. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our educators, school board members and administrators of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, remind our educators, school board members and administrators not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Prayer Topic #12:
A Prayer for People Looking for Employment
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 47, Ezekiel 34:25-31
Reflections of the Heart:
God knows exactly what His children stand in need of. His Word is full of promises concerning His provision, protection and care for us. Stand on His promises as you, or those you know, look for employment and expect to receive the manifestation of those promises.
Scriptural Prayer:
Most Excellent Father, thank You for allowing Your children to dwell in the secret place under Your shadow. Thank You for being our refuge and fortress. You are a Mighty God! Thank You for meeting the needs of those who are currently unemployed. Thank You, Lord, for assuring us, as Your children, that our promotion does not come from any earthly source, but it is You alone who judges who will rise and who will fall. We rest and trust in You because this whole earth and those who dwell in it belong to You. With all that we are, we will praise You. We will never forget the good things that You do for us. Glory To Your Holy Name!
Glorious Father, in Jesus’ Name, we command the doors of favor and opportunity for employment to open for our unemployed brothers and sisters! As a Church Family, we confess that as they seek Your Kingdom above all else and live righteously, You will give them everything they need. We decree that they will not be idle or lazy, wanting much, but doing little. No! They will be diligent and work hard, and will prosper. We declare that our unemployed will not be worried about anything. Instead, they will pray about everything and trust You to meet their needs. They will remain thankful for all You have done in their lives. Even when they are confronted with rejection or negative reports, they will remain confident that You are for them and they will not be fearful of what people will do to them. We confess that they will continually study Your Word and meditate on it day and night. As they do this, they will prosper and succeed in all that they do. We decree that Your favor will surround them as with a shield when they go for interviews.
39

If you know someone who is unemployed or who wants new employment, write down their names and insert their names into this prayer: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Holy Spirit, help our unemployed friends and family members (speak the names) to prepare themselves and enhance their skills so that they will be ready when opportunities present themselves. Help them to wait patiently on the Lord and trust Him to guide them to the job He has for them. Enlighten the eyes of their understanding to know their strengths and to find creative ways to highlight their resumes and job applications. Touch the hearts of those who are resistant to change and encourage them to look for new career opportunities. Remove fear and anxiety from their lives. Help (speak the names) to resist pride and to be humble and honest with those who will interview them. Show them how to use sound judgment as they weigh their job offers. Continue to supernaturally meet their day-to-day needs as they continue to pursue employment opportunities. When (speak the names) receive their new jobs, remind them to tithe and to honor You with their wealth and with the best part of everything they produce to show their gratitude to God, our Father.
Merciful Father, please forgive those who have not honored You in the workplace during their past employment. Forgive those who believe the world’s report more than Your report about their future. Forgive those for who have not honored You with tithes and offerings consistently. Father God, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who are seeking employment to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.
Holy Spirit, help those who are seeking employment not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Omnipotent Lord, salvation and glory and power belong to You! You are the Lord Almighty who reigns. Summon Your might, O God and display Your power as You have in the past. As Your Name deserves, O God, You will be
40

praised to the ends of the earth. Your strong right hand is filled with victory! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #13:
A Prayer for the United States Economy
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 104:24-34, Proverbs 2:1-15
Reflections of the Heart:
The currency we use in America is marked with the statement, “In God We Trust.” If we do trust in God, then we must prove it with our actions. Therefore, let us repent for living beyond our means, for loving money and using people, and for not putting God’s will first. Let’s trust Him today.
Scriptural Prayer:
Gracious Father, we thank You for being faithful to the United States of America throughout our history. Thank You for blessing us to prosper and to grow from generation to generation. Thank You for keeping our nation through our economic hardships and financial conflicts. You have been merciful, Lord. This whole earth, everything in it, and the people who inhabit it belong to You, O God. It is You who supplies us with abundance. It is You who sustains us in times of lack. Your instructions are perfect, they revive our souls. Your commandments are clear and right. They give us insight for living. We, Your children, delight in them and love to meditate on them day and night. We are grateful that You are willing to bear the heavy burdens of our nation so that we are free to worship You and receive rest. Dear Father, it is You who strengthens our nation and holds us up with Your victorious right hand!
Holy Father, we command the economic infrastructure of the United States to submit to Your will. We confess that the hope of our nation’s citizens will no longer be deferred. Lord, we expect that You will raise up people within our nation’s financial leadership who, like Joseph, have a supernatural anointing to receive, interpret, and administrate visions that will save companies, restore jobs, and open new opportunities in stagnant sectors of our economic markets. All-Knowing Father, we decree that Your solution will be sought and revealed in the earth to justify American jobs and encourage innovation and global competitiveness among domestic corporations, giving priority consideration to United States taxpayers. We destroy the works of the spirits of consumption-oriented capitalism, conspicuous consumption, greed, avarice, fear, perversion, uncertainty, and
42

inefficiency. In Jesus’ Name, we command prosperity to come from the north, south, east, and west into the economy of the United States of America.
Holy Spirit, I commit to praying specifically for the following corporations and industries: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________
Glorious Father, we pray that Your generous outpouring of wisdom, discernment, and divine understanding will be gladly received by our economic and government leaders. Holy Spirit, we ask You to strategically assign men and women who are fully equipped to reveal creative ideas and effective methods to the presidential economic team. Show them how to decrease our national deficit while continuing to provide the necessary standards, services, and benefits to the American people. Holy Spirit, please revive the Body of Christ and remind us of who we are − the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Give us divine motivation to boldly declare the Word of God so that those who have become captives of this world’s system can be liberated. Help us, as a nation, to reconnect to the Living God as our source and supply, and remove any thoughts of doubt, fear, or dismay.
Loving Father, we repent on behalf of our nation for our many sins. We acknowledge that many of us played an active role in causing the downturn of our economy. Forgive us for greed, arrogance, selfishness, and oppression of the poor. Forgive our CEOs for overcompensating themselves and placing their employees and companies in jeopardy in order to maintain their lavish lifestyles and greedy appetites. Forgive those consumers who acted out of impulse and impatience and made unwise choices, landing them and their families in tremendous debt. Merciful Father, please forgive our nation for being selfish, reckless, and irresponsible with the blessings You intended to be handed down to the generations following us.

Holy Spirit, help us, as a nation, not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Omnipotent God, how great are Your riches and wisdom and knowledge! You are the God who does great things too marvelous to understand. It is You who performs countless miracles. We praise You, Lord! Let everyone on earth bless Your holy Name forever and ever! Everything comes from You and exists by Your power and is intended for Your glory. All glory to You forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #14:
A Prayer for President Donald Trump, the Administration and Congress
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 50:1-6, I Timothy 2:1-6
Reflections of the Heart:
“A great leader’s courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not position.”-- John C. Maxwell.
Scriptural Prayer:
Almighty Father, thank You for blessing our country, the United States of America. Thank You for being patient with our leaders and the people of our nation despite all the rancor and division. Thank You for continuing to pour out Your Spirit over this nation and advancing Your Kingdom on earth. We appreciate Your loving-kindness and tender mercies. Father, we come singing a new song to You, for You have done wonderful deeds. With all that we are, we will praise You, our Lord and God; for You are great! You are robed with honor and majesty. You are dressed in a robe of light. You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens; You lay out the rafters of Your home in the rain clouds. You make clouds Your chariot; You ride upon the wings of the wind.
Righteous Father, Your Word declares that all authority comes from You, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by You. With this in mind, we submit President Donald Trump, the administration and Congress. By faith, we declare that the leaders of our nation who know You, will trust in You with all of their hearts and not depend on their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all that they do and as they do this, we trust that You will show them which path to take as they lead and direct this nation. We declare that they will not be impressed with their own wisdom, but instead they will fear You and turn away from evil. Your Word admonishes that a house divided against itself cannot stand. We decree that the members of Congress will work together towards the good of the American people. We declare that they will turn away from division and evil and do good; they will search for peace and work to maintain it.
Holy Spirit, how I can pray specifically for President Trump, the administration and Congress:

Triumphant God, please arise in our government and cause Your enemies of racism, partiality, confusion and discord to be scattered. Holy Spirit, please continue to pour Your wisdom, discernment and power into our leaders. Continue to surround them with favor as they conduct business with Congress and world leaders. Please give them Your ideas to conquer the issues that are plaguing our nation including the environment, education, unemployment, economy, healthcare, national security, and the natural disasters that have devastated our nation. Continue to touch the Body of Christ to pray for all government leaders so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by Godliness and dignity.
Righteous Father, please forgive our leaders for injustice, imperialism and a form of capitalism that is oppressive and subversive. Forgive those for racism, sexism, ageism, idolatry, lying, deceit and character assassination. Forgive those for being self-serving, boastful, proud and arrogant. Forgive those who do not acknowledge Your authority and compromise Your truth. We realize that all our sins are many! Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind President Donald Trump, the administration and Congress of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive.
Holy Spirit, help President Donald Trump, the administration and Congress not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to You forever and ever. You are the Alpha and the Omega— the beginning and the end. You are the One who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer Topic #15:
A Prayer Against Terrorism in the World
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 9:1-12, Psalm 91
Reflections of the Heart:
Merriam Webster defines “terror” as extreme fear. Do not fear! The Lord is our light and salvation, so why would we be afraid? The Lord is our fortress, protecting us from danger, so why would we tremble? Psalm 27:1 NLT
Scriptural Prayer:
Our Father, we thank You for being our Protector. Thank You for extending Your mercy and grace towards the nations around the world who are experiencing terrorism. Thank You for helping military personnel, law enforcement and intelligence agencies as they counter terrorism. Thank You for hearing the prayers of the righteous worldwide and sending Your angels to fight supernaturally. Thank You for protecting our nation. We realize that it is only by Your grace that we are not experiencing the same acts of terrorism. We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. By Your Word, the heavens were created. You merely spoke, and the heavens were created. You breathed the Word, and all the stars were born. You assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear You and let everyone stand in awe of You. When You spoke, the world began and appeared at Your command!
Almighty Father, by the authority given to us in Jesus’ Name, we command peace be still! We rebuke the spirit of terror and cancel the schemes and assignments of every evil spirit, including the spirits of deception, rebellion, and confusion that are in alignment with the spirit of terror. We command every person worldwide who is plotting against the good of humanity be exposed and captured. We decree that the love of Christ will saturate this international crisis. We declare healing to every person who was injured in the bombing attacks and, in Jesus’ Name, we speak healing to the minds and souls of the families who are mourning the death of a loved one. Lord of Heaven’s Armies, we are expecting to witness Your mighty power against this evil and see a mighty outpouring of Your love through the Body of Christ. Father, with people some things are impossible, but with You all things are possible. We are trusting in You!

As you watch the news, jot down those areas of the world that are under attack from terrorists and ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom on how to pray: __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ __
Holy Spirit, please comfort the people around the world who have experienced shooting, bombings and all other terroristic acts. Confuse and scatter the masterminds who are behind the evil works of terrorism. Continue to work with authorities to uncover and destroy the network operations of ISIS and all other terrorist groups. Touch the hearts of family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers to report person(s) who are involved with any terrorist organizations. Holy Spirit, amplify the voices of Your missionaries who are praying and teaching the Gospel in this part of the world. Please protect them as they carry out Your work. Touch the hearts of all Christians to pray for all the nations, including our own. We ask You to increase Your discernment, wisdom, knowledge, boldness, confidence and peace in our President and all world leaders as they collaborate to combat this seemingly impossible dilemma.
Merciful Father, forgive the terrorists for their murderous acts. Forgive us all for our many sins. Forgive those who rebel against You and Your Word. Please extend Your mercy to all the nations of the world who have been attacked by terrorists; to refugees fleeing the violence; and those who have lost loved ones. They need Your help! We all need Your help! Forgive those of us for not consistently praying about terrorism in the world and for being insensitive about the injustices and atrocities occurring in other parts of the world. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help those devastated by terrorism not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
Great and marvelous are Your actions, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints. Who will not fear You and glorify Your Name? You alone are Holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous deeds have been revealed. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
