THE QUESTION
Till when will this go on?
Faguni Verma
As the U.S. Defense Secretary James
Mattis days after the attack on the Kabul
airport seems to portray a scenario that
is controlled solely for higher interests rather
than theh protection of the civilians.
The carefully planned Kabul airport rocket at-
tack has been claimed by both Islamic State and
Taliban insurgents trying to
cause unrest in
the State.
Furthermore,
Mattis has
introduced a new
strategy from US
being an additional
3,000 troops to help
train Afghan security
forces, which are
focusing on building up
the air force and special
forces.
But, the real query is that when
would Afghan people get their freedom from all
these attacks that are never ending and leading
to the taking over of a New World Order that
would replace only one country in command of
the world. The dependence of the country on
external forces is turning to be a bigger problem
in the State of funded terrorism,

On the special ocassion of World Tourism Day, we bring forth to y
elucidation of the word Tourism
Atourist
is the one who
is travelling or
visiting a place for pleasure. And according to
the official definition of tourism, it stands for the
commercial organization and operation of holidays and
visits to places of interest.World Tourism Day on 27th
September is an emanation for the travelers all around the world
who have the knack to explore new places.
UN's World Tourism Day 2017 is a time when we have to consider two
major things: to be responsible travelers and to be convivial hosts. We
have to consider the people, environment, nature and the aura of the place
we are going to. It would in fact assist us in blending with the environment
of the place.
Also, as the Indian saying says, 'Atithi Devo Bhava' we do need to focus upo
providing the best of the amenities to the travelers as their main motive
is to spend some pleasurable time that is expectetd from our own
deeds as such.

battles for the
safety of girls
following a
molestation case
Banaras Hindu University continues
to remain on tenterhooks on
Monday, two days after police
lathicharged students protesting against
the university administration for al-
legedly victim shaming a student who
claimed she was sexually harassed by
three men inside the campus.
A district magistrate and two policemen
have been suspended after students,
mostly girls, and two journalists were in-
jured in Saturday night’s lathicharge.The
varsity has advanced the date of Durga
Puja holidays by three days from Sep 28
to Sep 25 due to the prevailing security
situation.The University will remain
closed until October 2.
On Thursday, a BHU student of the Arts
Faculty was allegedly harassed by three
motorcycle-borne men inside the var-
sity’s campus when she was returning to
the Triveni Hostel.The student alleged
that instead of raising the matter with
university authorities, the hostel warden
questioned her why she was returning
so late. Hundreds of students sat on
dharna in the campus after this string of
events in protest against lack of safety
and alleged victim shaming.
