Inspiration

This was my first
inspiration but after
looking at other pictures, I
decided to make it colorful
and keep the diagonal

forward haircut

I wanted something
to stand out which is
why I decided on the

colorful look.

2

Before

Section 2 was the filler
section, I used 5N with

5Gb.

Section 1 was gray coverage.
I used 5NN with 20 volume
since it is gray hair and I

left it on for 45 minutes.

3

Before

Section 3 was my highlights
section, I used a 2o volume
on her and did fine weaving

throughout the section.

Section 4 was my demi
permanent section and I

used 8N.

4

Bleaching Process

This was her after
bleaching her with a 20
volume. Section 2 only
took 20 minutes, section 3

took 45 minutes.

Section 3 and 4 took me
about 45 minutes as well.
At this point I wasn’t sure
what I wanted so I just

evened her out.
All sections were around

level 8-9.

5

Coloring Bangs

At this point I started to
color section 4 with 5N
and I gave her shadow
roots on section 1 and 3.
Section 3 was left alone
because I wanted this
section to be the brightest.

For this day I only focused
on her bangs. Her bangs
were between a level 8-9.

6

Coloring Bangs
This was the end result
of her bangs. I left the
color on for 20 minutes
just to make sure it
saturated.

7

Hair Coloring

The next day I
continued the color all
around her head. I left

the color on for 30
minutes.

My end gold was for the
bangs to start off the color as
it went throughout her head.
At the opposite side, I wanted

the color to “fade” into a
darker shade.
