Overview
The Postgraduate Programme (PGP) in Services Management at Indian School of
Hospitality (ISH) is taught in alliance with Les Roches, one of the world’s leading
hospitality business schools. With a global curriculum relevant to the hospitality
and allied services industry, this fast-paced management programme is ideal
for both fresh graduates and young professionals, where they learn to apply
theoretical knowledge and data-driven analysis to deliver business results.
The 11-month programme follows an experiential learning pedagogy, enabling
students to upskill themselves, enhance their competencies and develop an
entrapreneurial mindset.
Students acquire these skills through core academic modules, case studies,
workshops, business simulations and a 3-month curated internship that
transforms them into the change makers of tomorrow.
The programme allows multiple exit options for students. They can complete the
11-month PGP and either start their professional journey or they can choose to
further articulate to a Les Roches campus for an MBA or Master’s degree.

Programme Highlights
The PGP at ISH is taught at a state-of-the-art campus featuring modern classrooms and student

Varied pedagogy and specialised modules: Apart from lectures, students learn through
case studies, role plays, projects, and different forms of experiential learning like games and
business simulations.
Global degree pathways to Les Roches: The ISH-Les Roches alliance allows students to
articulate to Les Roches campuses in Switzerland and Spain to pursue an MBA and Master’s
programme respectively.
Specialised modules: The programme curriculum includes two spealised modules, which give
students the opportunity to master their skills in specific subjects which are high in demand
and have global relevance. These specialisations enable students to begin their careers
in varied roles including revenue managers, hospitality real estate and asset management
professionals.
Curated internship with leading organisations: The programme includes a 3-month internship
where faculty and industry mentors guide students through live analytical projects.

Executive presence and personality development: Regular sessions on grooming, effective
communication and etiquette are conducted to help students enhance their leadership

Individual Education Plans (IEP): Each student receives an individual growth plan from their

Live projects: Students participate in a sales fest to learn the 7 stages of sales as they
work on a buisness project to generate revenue and profit. They also learn how to develop
an entrepreneurial mindset by pitching their idea to a jury comprising industry experts.
PGP student society: The PGP student society, Aspirante, was born out of students’ desire
to contribute to ISH in a unique way and aims to enhance their academic-industry interface
through immersive projects.
Development beyond the classroom: ISH believes in the holistic development of its
students and teaches them how to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing in stressful
and challenging conditions.
Learning Journey
Pre-Programme Modules
3 weeks of pre-programme courses to ensure that students hit the ground running
when they begin the programme. These include the fundamentals of finance, an
introduction to data analytics (R and Python) including an advanced course in
Microsoft Excel.
Individual Education Plans (IEP)
These are conducted for each student with an aim to help them make the
most of an ISH education and reach their full potential.
Core Modules - 4 months on campus
The programme features classroom training by a renowned faculty of
academicians and researchers, along with panel discussions and networking
opportunities.
Specialisation - 4 months on campus
Students get to specialise in an area of their choice and fulfil their ambition
to earn a more specialised and senior role upon graduation.
Internship - 3 months
An internship is an essential component of the learning experience, allowing
students to apply theory to practice. It provides the necessary knowledge to

Global Pathways
Students have the option to further their professional expertise by pursuing
global degree pathways. They can articulate to Les Roches campuses in
Switzerland or Spain for an MBA or a Master’s degree, respectively.
Placement
Students have the opportunity to turn their internship into a full time job with
the same organisation. They also benefit from pre-placement offers from select

This is a fast-track 11-month programme which prepares students to enter or return to the industry

Hospitality Real Estate Finance and Asset Management
The course introduces graduate learners with the fundamentals of hospitality real estate
finance and asset management, with the main focus on feasibility studies and valuation.
This specialised course equips students with the technicalities of feasibility studies,
including research and analytics. Students progress from performing a series of analysis to
conducting calculations and finally arriving at valuations and asset management models.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship is instrumental in fostering a culture of

Eligibility Criteria
• A Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a university recognised by the University Grants
Commission of India or UGC.
• The Bachelor’s degree’s duration needs to be at least 3 years or an equivalent of (10+2+3
or 10+2+4).
• The candidate must secure an aggregate of at least 55% at the graduation level.
• To pursue an MBA at Les Roches, students must have prior work experience of minimum 2
years before starting the programme.

Please note the following regarding the fee structure:
• The above options do not include living expenses. There are various accommodation choices available when
studying at ISH or Les Roches. Please speak with the Admissions Team for details and costing.
• To confirm your enrolment at ISH, you are required to pay an acceptance fee of INR 1,25,000 which will then be
adjusted against your programme fee.
• The fees shown in the table above for the MBA or Master’s component of the Global Pathways - Options 2 and
3 - at Les Roches are shown as an indicative guideline only. The Swiss Franc (CHF) or Euro (EUR) fees indicate
the compulsory fees that would be payable by students if they were articulating to Europe in 2022. All Les Roches
fees are normally subject to an annual review. When selecting either Option 2 or Option 3, ISH students are
guaranteed to benefit from a 30% reduction of the tuition fees of the applicable Les Roches programme for the
intake in which they start at Les Roches and, as for all students, they will be required to pay the full compulsory
half-board and academic expenses in effect at the time of their study in Europe.
• The programme fee for PGP at India is inclusive of taxes.

1. Submit your application
Once candidates become familiar with a course, we strongly recommend
that they apply early.
2. Meet us on campus
Candidates can meet us on campus for an aptitude test and an interview
with the Programme Director once their application is approved.
3. Final round of interviews
Candidates will then proceed to an interview with the Director of Career
Development, followed by a one-on-one with the Dean and Admissions Director.

Once accepted into the programme, they may secure their seat by clearing the
admissions fee.

Professor, HR & OB
Dr. Payal is the Dean of Management Studies and Research at the
Indian School of Hospitality (ISH). Formerly Professor & Chair HR/OB
and Associate Dean, International Relations at BML Munjal University.
Payal is an award-winning academician and prolific writer. She has
published 12 books so far with international publishers such as
Springer and Emerald Publishers, apart from several research papers.
She is also the series editor of the Palgrave Studies in Leadership and
Followership, a 5-volume series with volume editors spanning USA,
Austria, Australia and India. As a thought leader, she is frequently
invited to write for media publications such as the Hindu and the
Economic Times.
Dr. Chirag Malik
Associate Professor - Marketing & Business Analytics
Dr. Chirag Malik (PhD., MBA., UGC-NET, B.Sc.) is Associate Professor
(Business Analytics) at Indian School of Hospitality (ISH), Gurgaon.
He has 21 years of work experience in industry and academics. His
current research areas are Recommendation Engine, Market Basket
Analysis, Text Mining, Revenue Management & Hospitality Analytics,
Environmentally Conscious Consumer Behaviour and Machine
Learning for Transforming Education. He is a member of Analytics
Society of India, IIM Bangalore.
He has published various research papers in Scopus, WOS and ABDC
indexed national and international journals of repute. He has also
presented papers in many national and international conferences
organised by reputed institutions, such as IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow,
IIM Ahmedabad, MDI Gurgaon, and IIT Roorkee. He has been session
chair of various technical sessions at international conferences held
at reputed institutions.
Dr. Amit Bagga
Financial Management for Service Operations
Dr. Amit Bagga is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Cost Accountant
from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
Additionally, he holds Ph.D. Degree from CCSUniversity and
Master’s in Commerce from the University of Delhi.
He is a Practicing Chartered Accountant, Financial Consultant,
Auditor & Valuation Analyst, Senior Partner at PPB& co. a CA firm,
Trainer with ICICI Securities.
Dr. Shivani Saluja
Assistant Professor - ICT
Dr. Shivani Saluja is a passionate and versatile academician with more
than nine years of experience in the field of Information Technology. She
holds a PhD (Cloud Computing), M.Tech (Information Technology) (Gold
Medalist) and a B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering).
She has done extensive research in the field of cloud computing,
machine learning, cyber security and computer networks and has
worked with premier engineering institutions like IMSEC Ghaziabad,
ABES Ghaziabad and GD Goenka University Gurugram. She holds AWS
Certification for Solution Architect, IBM Certification for Business
Intelligence & Cloud Computing and Cyber Security Certification from IIT
Kanpur.
Dr. Shivani is a member of the Editorial board of Scopus Indexed Journal
and has worked as technical program committee member for several
International conferences. She has published two patents and over 15
research papers in international Journals and has also delivered talks on
Cloud Computing and Cyber Security in association with Hacker’s Meet.
Dr. Rakhi Singh
Facilitator - Entrepreneurship Essentials & Mindset
Dr. Rakhi Singh comes with over 25 years of multifaceted experience and
exposure in premier national universities and management institutes.
She holds a Ph.D. degree in the area of International Economics. Her
teaching expertise areas are Entrepreneurship Development, SME
Business Management, Family Business, Managerial Economics, Global
Macro Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Her research
interest lies in the area of International Business. She has published
many research papers in journals of national and international repute.
She has been actively involved in teaching and guiding undergraduate
and postgraduate students, training, institutional development, faculty
development workshops and mentoring.
Dr. Shikha Jain
Facilitator - Mastering Selling
Dr. Shikha Jain is an academician with a Doctor of Philosophy and
a master’s degree in Business Administration. She comes with an
enriching work experience of over 10 years in academics and industry.
Her last teaching role was with UKSIMSR, Mumbai where she had
been engaged in mentoring PGDM students. She has also published
and presented various research papers in national and international
conferences.
She is also a digital content creator and a blogger. She is a founding
member of Jomo One life- a company providing image consulting &
digital content creation services. She is passionate about learning and
sharing.
Dr. Ruma Bhateja
Facilitator- Effective Leadership
Ruma is a value driven result oriented professional with 19 years of multi-
industry experience. Currently she is the Co-founder of Knowledgetics
Research Pvt. Ltd - A Research and Analytics company that has
successfully executed more than 400 projects for clients across Europe,
North America and South Asia. She is also a writer and has a blog section
in Economic Times, Times of India and People Matters Global.
She has proven acumen of blending technology, research, and analytics
for delivering the right business outcome. She has exposure of working

Harsimran Shergill
Director - Grooming and Life Skills
Harsimran has over 14+ years of experience as a Grooming &
personality expert. She is a graduate of the London School of
Makeup and Beauty. She has helped transform the look and
aesthetics of some of India’s largest corporations.
During her work with some of the country’s most iconic brands - Jet
Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Taj Hotels – she has helped thousands
of individuals discover their own unique brand of beauty and
identity through the art of makeup and grooming.
Sumit Shandilya
Facilitator - Service Operations
Mr. Shandilya is an Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain and a Business
excellence professional. He has supported and mentored various
organization for activities related to implementation of Data Analytics,
Lean Six Sigma, IATF, SPC, MSA, Minitab etc. His clients are from both
service and as well as manufacturing sectors like Banks, E-commerce,
automobile, education, minerals and mining industries etc. At present,
he is associated as a C.E.O. with IIPE India and as a Director with Global
System Certifications.
He has been a recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his

He is a graduate from Delhi University, Post graduate from ICFAI
also holds multifarious global accreditations & certifications like
L&D Professional from Global Skill Development Council, Emotional
Intelligence from NASBA (USA), Psychology from Centre of Excellence
(UK), Exc. Leadership & Org. Development Coach from International
Association Of Professional Coaches Counselors & Therapists (USA).
He is also the founder & president of “Deeproserves” & “Yogalaya” which
offers four kinds of domain specific services like Wellness, Corporate,
Skill Development and Career.
Jerrald Jacob
Assistant Director - Communication & Student Experience
Jerrald Jacob is Assistant Director of Communication, Soft Skills
and Student Experience at Indian School of Hospitality. With over
11 years of training experience as a language & communication
expert, his skill lies in Language Proficiency, Presentation Skills,
Voice Coaching, Public Speaking & Soft Skills.
After completing Trainer’s certification from Glasgow, Scotland,
he has worked with some of the most iconic brands like IndiGo,
SpiceJet, NIIT and Interglobe Technologies. He was responsible
for all Inflight Announcements & Communication Training for
Pilots, Cabin crew & Ground Support Services in his previous
role. As a Voice Coach, he has lent his voice for several Digital &
E-Learning Modules. He is an Alumni of St. Columba’s School &
holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Anuradha Agnihotri
Faculty - Services and Digital Marketing
A multi-platform marketing specialist, Anuradha has over 16 years
of experience in leading transformational, cross-platform global
communications campaigns including over 7 years spearheading
CNN’s marketing communications outreach in India and South Asia.
With a proven track record in building brands and growing businesses,
Anuradha has served as a trusted marketing communications partner
to leading global brands, helping them own and shape their narratives
in a borderless and dynamic world. A credible and engaging educator,
Anuradha effectively motivates diverse student groups to attain
academic and professional excellence. She is the Marketing Faculty for
the postgraduate and undergraduate programmes at the Indian School
of Hospitality.
Sanchita Tuli
Director - Human Resources
An experienced hospitality professional with over 20 years of cross-
functional experience in the Hotel & Service industry, Sanchita has vast
exposure to Operations, Human Resource and L&D functions.
She has worked in varying capacities across local and international
brands including InterContinental Hotels Group, Accor Hotels, Marriott
Hotels, Great Places to Work (India), ITC Hotels, Taj hotels.
Through her expertise in training design, she demonstrates an
excellence in impacting the performance of human resources across
all levels, contrinuting to the reform, enhancement, & advancement of
organisational objectives. Sanchita is also a proud recipient of the Zee
Rajasthan News Women Empowerment Award 2016 for outstanding
contribution to Women Empowerment (Professional & Personal).
Rubal Rathi
Facilitator- Service Excellence
Rubal is a doctoral scholar at the School of Management, BML
Munjal University. Her broad area of research and interest is
luxury branding, marketing, luxury hospitality, and responsible
consumption. She is an active researcher and has published her
scholarly work in reputed academic journals like the Journal of
Brand Management.
Rubal has also contributed book chapters and op-eds in the luxury
area. She has presented her research at national and international
conferences of repute. Her work on service quality and customer
patronage has won the Best Paper Award (2021) at RCMIB, Dhaka.
She serves as a reviewer for marketing journals like International
Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Journal of
Brand Management. Post her MBA from BMU, and before starting
her journey as a researcher, she had a brief stint at the corporate
banking division of Axis Bank Ltd.
