2. Manage your weight better.
3. Exercise can help lower your blood cholesterol level.
4. Lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and cancer.
5. Have lower blood pressure.

6. Stronger bones, muscles and joints and lower the
risk of osteoporosis.

7. Lower your risk of falls.

8. Feel better – with more energy, a better mood, feel
more relaxed and sleep better.

How Much Exercise Should You Do?

How much exercise a person should do, depends on a person’s
body goal, fitness background and medical health.
The national physical activity guidelines for adults recommend
150-300 minutes in a week of moderate intensity activities or 75-
150 minutes of vigorous intensity activities.

How Much Is Too Much?

There is no exact answer for this, all depends on a person’s
goal, If you are training for mega event you should train 14-
15 hours in a week and if you just want to be fit then there
are other guidelines for you.

But one thing to remember is - too much exercise can lead to
injuries, exhaustion and hormonal imbalance.

Signs of Too Much Exercise

1. Physical effects of overtraining include increased resting heart
rate, decreased appetite, restless legs and dehydration.
2. Poor sleep quality or insomnia.
3. Bad mood and increased stress.
