edition is ready for publication. This magazine gives an insight into
the range and scope of the imagination and creativity of our students
and faculty members. I applaud the editorial team for the hard work

at various stages and situations each day. Trying and testing times during the hectic

Entrepreneurship awareness camp is organised by the department, resource person Mr. J.V.S. Reddy,
Debasis Panda, Krish Nanivedda.nearly 130 students took part in the camp.
AUTOMOBILE WORKSHOP
A two day workshop onAutomobile& IC Engines is conducted for 3rd year students on 19th and 20th September
in collaboration with A.B.M. Group.The main objective of this workshop is to create awareness about the
parts of automobile and also to have a hands on experience about the assembly and disassembly of car &
Bike Engine.
THEORY OF MACHINES LAB INAUGURATION
Theory of machines lab was inaugurated on
Secretary of PSCMRCET Mr. R.Subba Rao
was the Chief Guest and delivered an
orientation address on Role of Engineersin
Society Development for the student members.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st
June organised by the Department of
Mechanical Engineering. The Yogananda Guru
Swami Mr. N. Samba Siva Rao taught yogasanas
and addressed the students that Yoga is a
spiritual, Physical& mental Practice gifted by
our India’s Ancient Tradition. Nearly 110
students participated in the celebrations
ENGINEERS DAY CELEBRATIONS
Mechanical department celebrates Engineers Day on 15 September as a tribute to the greatest
Indian Engineer BharatRatna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. On this day we conduct various cultural
and technical events under MEDHA association like technical quiz, general quiz, just a minute, Group
Discussion, Photography, Debate and all the faculty encourage and enlightened the students with their
words about role of students in the developing society.
JUST A MINUTE TECHNICAL QUIZ & GENERAL QUIZ
SPORTS
Ms. S. Sravani secured 2nd place in District level judo tournament seniors
2018 under category 57 kgs organised by Krishna District Judo Association.
Ms. S. Sravani secured 2nd place IN College level through ball competition.
Mechanical students participated in 11th sports day celebrations in kabaddi
Tournament and stood as runners.
Let’s all as a Mechanical Family work with great passion towards the
magnificence and look forward for more triumph’s in the near future

Won Ist Prize in group dance.
