Centella Asiaticia L.Urban

崩大碗，别名：积雪草、马蹄草、雷公根、蚶壳草、灯盏草、老
耳、铜钱草，拉丁文名：Centella asiatica (L.) Urban 属伞形科、积
雪草属植物，干品常卷缩成团状。多年生草本，茎匍匐，细长，节上生
根。叶片膜质至草质，圆形、肾形或马蹄形，表面浅黄色或灰黄色。全草
入药，清热利湿、消肿解毒，治痧氙腹痛、暑泻、痢疾、湿热黄疸、砂
淋、血淋，吐、血、咳血、目赤、喉肿、风疹、疥癣、疔痈肿毒、跌打损
伤等。积雪草为多年生匍匐草本。茎柔弱,匍地生长,逐节生根,无毛或微
被毛。叶肾形或近圆形,直径 1～3 厘米或过之,基部深心形,边缘具宽钝
齿,两面无毛,或疏生短柔毛,具掌状脉;叶柄长 5～15 厘米,基部略成鞘状;
无托叶。花夏秋开放,3～6 朵排成伞形花序,此花序单个或 2～3 个腋生,总
花梗长 2～8 毫米;花萼筒杯状,萼裂片 5 片;花瓣 5,紫红色;雄蕊 5;子房下
位,2 心皮,2 室,顶端有短圆锥状花柱基。双悬果扁圆形,长 2～2.5 毫米,
具纵棱与网纹。

Centella asiatica, commonly known as centella, Asiatic
pennywort or Gotu kola, is a herbaceous, frost-tender perennial
plant in the flowering plant family Apiaceae.[2] It is native to the wetlands
in Asia.[3][4] It is used as a culinary vegetable and as a medicinal herb.

Traditional medicine
In traditional medicine, C. asiatica has been used to treat various
disorders and minor wounds.[2][13][14] Clinical efficacy and safety have
not been confirmed by high-quality medical research.[13] Contact
dermatitis and skin irritation can result
from topical application.[13] Headaches, nausea, and drowsiness may
occur from internal use.[14] The herb may have adverse effects on liver
function when used over many months.[14] In Āyurveda, C. asiatica is
classified as a vegetable in the Carakasaṃhitā.[15]
