***GAIA’S BLUE LOTUS
OVERLIGHTING

DEVA***

The Blue Lotus
is the symbol of victory of the spirit over the senses

and signifies the wisdom and knowledge.
It is the embodiment of perfection of wisdom
and represents the wide open eyes of the awakened one.

The Lotus Flower
The lotus flower has a unique characteristic in that it blooms and sheds its
seeds at the same time. In the context of Buddhism, the theory of karma says
that, just like the lotus flower, our life is made up of cause and effect. Every

cause -- be it action, word or thought -- will imprint an effect that can be seen
in this lifetime or in future lives.

The lotus produces a beautiful flower even with its roots in the dirtiest water.
The symbolism is that a person can rise above being rooted in the ugliness

and suffering of this world, and should try to be pure and help others with the
beauty of the spirit.....

The lotus grows in the muddy water of still ponds and lakes. The magnificent
blossom unfolds gradually, one petal at a time, till full-bloom in the morning
when the sun's rays touch the flower. As the lotus awakens and blooms at
the first rays of the morning sun, the interdependence between the lotus and

the sun is a symbol of love.

The plant has its roots deep in the soil under water. The long, cylindrical stalk
passes through the water and rises above the water's surface. The mud in
which the lotus roots grow represents material life, while the water through
which the stalk passes represents the astral world. When the plant reaches
the surface of the water and opens its bud to the sun, it represents spiritual
being.

The Lotus as a Universal symbol for spiritual unfoldment

Egyptian Lotus flower The Egyptian Lotus flower symbol was called Sesen
in the Egyptian language. In the Egyptian mythology the lotus flower is a
symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth.

Eastern Lotus flower In the East, the lotus flower is viewed as a symbol of
spiritual unfoldment. The lotus has its roots in earthly mud, but as it grows

upward in aspiration toward the light, its petals open out in a beautiful
flower.

Christian Lotus flower The Christian alternative to the lotus is the white lily
which, relating to Mary as queen of heaven, signifies both fertility and purity.
Traditionally the Archangel Gabriel carries the lily of the Annunciation to the

Virgin Mary. "Blessed are the pure in heart," said Jesus, "for they shall see
God." The teachings of the Galilean Master and those of India's great yogis

were cut from the same cloth of self-realization.

Indian Yoga Lotus flower The Indian Lotus flower symbolizes divinity,
fertility, wealth, knowledge and enlightenment. It is associated with the

goddess of wealth, Maha Lakshmi, who brings prosperity, purity and
generosity. She sits on a fully blossomed lotus flower, symbolizing purity,

beauty and everything that is good.

The Lotus Chakras

In the practice of Kundalini, where the ordinary objective is to stimulate and
align one's vital energy, the 7 stages are conceived as the blooming or
unfolding of lotuses.

Each chakra is associated with one of the 5 elements (earth, water, fire, air,
space, plus "mind" or consciousness, and supreme bliss or "enlightenment.")

COLOUR ASSOCIATIONS WITH CHAKRAS AS FOLLOWS***

Muladhara chakra: the base of the body, associated with the earth, when
activated the 4-petalled crimson [orange-red] lotus blooms;

• Svadhisthana: near the genital area, associated with water, when
activated a 6-petalled vermilion [bluish-red] lotus blooms;

• Manipur: in the lower abdomen, associated with fire, a 10-petalled blue-
black lotus;

• Suddha: near the heart, associated with air, a 12-petalled red lotus;
• Visuddha: base of the throat, associated with the sky, a 16-petalled

purple lotus;
• Ajna: the "third eye" between the brows, associated with

consciousness, a 2-petalled white lotus;

• The crown lotus: at the top of the head, a 1,000-petalled rainbow lotus
like a canopy or a fountain.

Meditating on the lotus brings harmony into all aspects of our being, within
and without. Given the lotus plant’s potency as a symbol, and its thousands

of years of association with spiritual practice in many traditions, belief is
that this essence is the foremost flower essence on this planet.

As a flower essence, Lotus has many uses. It is called the spiritual elixir. It
helps in meditation by calming the mind and improving concentration. Thus it
assists in spiritual growth* It is beneficial when used as a spray around the

places of ceremony. When combined with crystals, it is very powerful in its
effect. Lotus is an excellent elixir for balancing, cleansing, and strengthening
the aura. All the chakras are aligned and balanced by releasing, adding, or

directing energies to them, thus resulting in better health and harmony.

Lotus also balances and amplifies the effects of other flower essences when
used in a combination. It is a good harmonizing essence for interpersonal
relationships as well as for our connections with our animals.

Lotus aids in cleaning the entire system of toxins—physical or subtle. It can be
used in bath therapy, and can also be used locally along with lotus oil, or in a

cream or lotion base with Lotus essence added. The essence augments the
effectiveness of Kinesiology, Aromatherapy, Homoeopathy and tissue salts

and is also used on acupressure points.

As an Essence for Animals

The Lotus flower has for thousands of years symbolized spiritual
enlightenment. Lotus essence’s purpose is to accelerate spiritual evolvement

and enhance healing on every level within the system.

This action of the Lotus flower is true of animals as well as human beings.
Lotus essence acts on all levels encouraging a gentle unfolding of the highest

potential within the animal.

Devas assist in the manifestation of God's Love throughout all creation.
The Blue Lotus Deva overlights the Devas of the Lotus Kingdom….and

presents herself to us as a sign of readiness for our Ascension***
She is communicating to us through the colour of cobalt blue….her petals
colour….and the shades and forms within….This Deva is a force of great

Communication…on innumerable levels…..Particularly those of a
Spiritual/Higher self nature***

Her beauty, splendor, and diversity are that which you see within
Nature…in many forms throughout Her Kingdoms."

The Earth Kingdom consists of Elemental and Devic beings. The Devas include
the Oreads, who are trained to advance the lives of all large forms of

vegetable life; Tree Devas, who minister to all forms of tree life; Allrays, the
Angels of the Heights; Allsees are the Master Devas; and Deva Lords, whose

greatest and highest representative functions from the vicinity of Mount
Everest.

The devas [angels] are differentiated from the nature spirits and elemental
beings in that they hold the archetypal patterns for al physical forms on Earth

and direct the energy that is needed for their materialisation.

ELEMENTAL BY Traci from Messengers of Spirit / Spirit of Self Healing group*

Communion within the Blue of our own Communication Chakra…..The
beautiful transcending blue of the Throat Chakra……It is with the Lotus of this
Chakra in mind….that Our Deva communicated to us…and encourages us to
speak to all aspects of our Self***

When you are receptive to the psychic vibration, that puts you in a more

intimate contact with the psychic in your own self. Having an understanding
of our own systems….from Body/Mind/Emotions and Spirit is enhanced
through the Lotus….the Blue….The Devic Presence Overlighting……ALL***

On the symbolism side, the blue lotus is also known as the Sacred Blue Lily of
the Nile. It was the most sacred plant of Ancient Egypt and was prized as a
symbol of creation and rebirth. The four sons of Horus are also depicted as
sitting within a lotus. Each son represents one of the four elements of earth,
air, fire and water, and it is these elements that we work very closely with,
through the elementals and their Directors. The lotus flower is to be found
drawn in many wall paintings in the temples of Ancient Egypt, and there
represented the flower of Atlantis (where it was used in ceremony and ritual)
and thus both "life-force" and resurrection

The Lotus symbolizes the Origin of Life*** The Blue Lotus is symbolic of the
Cosmic Life and the Earth Life joining as One***

Gaia’s Overlighting Blue Lotus Deva is showing us a way of healing
ourselves….from the roots (Root Chakra) to the Gloriously flowering Crown

(crown chakra)….

There is an energetic link for us to key into when looking at the picture of the
blue lotus flower….and the overlighting Deva of this beautiful presence***

Much information of a vibrational level is being transmitted to us….

We will suddenly know that we have been communicated with…..in a way
that conveys great presence….maturity of being….timelessness comes to
mind……

The Mukula Mudra's appearance resembles the bud of a lotus flower.
Represents new beginnings or start up a new enterprise.

Forming this Mudra…and visualizing the Blue Lotus may inspire and heal at
the same time…This is beneficial practiced prior to creative ventures…and

when ever your Higher Self prompts you through your usual means (repetitive
though…sudden visuals)

How to form the Mukula mudra:
All fingers and thumb are joined together, pointed upwards.
The lotus flower is a tremendous resource for meditation, dream
interpretation, creative art, spiritual healing, and esoteric study.
