‘9 To 5 The Musical’ is Oct. 22-25.
The Chipola College Theatre Department opens the 2022-23 season with 9 to 5 The Musical,
Oct. 22-25.

Set in the late 1970s, 9 to 5 the Musical is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the
Rolodex era that is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic. Pushed to the
boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying,
hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest
fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains “otherwise engaged,” the women give their workplace a
dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can’t she?

Indians tip-off 2022-23 Season on Nov. 1
The Chipola men’s basketball open the 2022-2023 season on
November 1 at 7:00 PM with Coastal Alabama - North.
“We open up November 1 with our #PacktheMilt night,” said
Indians’ head coach Donnie Tyndall. “We are trying to sell this
game out as it is our season opener and we want to pack the gym.”
“In addition to the Opening Night game against Coastal Alabama,
we have seven home games in the month of November, including
three weekends of tournament play against quality competition.”
Chipola will host three tournaments in the month of November
starting with the Chipola Classic. On November 18-19, Chipola
will host the Milton Johnson Classic and face off against two teams
from Georgia. The Thanksgiving Classic will be November 25-26.
The Indians will spend most of the month of December on the road with a tournament in Tallahassee on December
3-4 and the Florida JUCO Shootout at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne on December 10-11.

Before taking a break for Christmas, the Indians will host Enterprise State Community College on Saturday, December
17and return to action in the Gulf Coast Classic on the final two days of 2022.

“With only four returning players this season, we have put together a challenging schedule that should be very exciting
for our fans,” Tyndall said. “I believe this nonconference schedule will get us prepared for Panhandle Conference play,
which in my opinion, will be the most balanced it’s been in quite some time.”

After winning the State Championship and advancing to the NJCAA Final Four in the last two season, Coach
Tyndall and the Indians are looking to reach their ultimate goal of winning Chipola’s first men’s basketball NJCAA
Championship. “I believe our team is looking forward to the challenge and hope that our fans will come out and
support us in a big way this season.”
