Chipola Celebrates Fall 2023 Graduates Before Christmas, Dec. 4-8, we celebrated our Fall Graduates with special ceremonies for each of the following groups. On Monday, Dec. 4, the School of Business and Technology held a reception for the Class of 2023. 17 BSBA graduates and 13 students receiving college Credit certificates were recognized in front of their family and friends along with some Chipola faculty and administration. On Thursday, Dec. 7, The School of Education held their Pinning Ceremony for Fall 2023 Education Graduates. A total of 12 graduates in the areas of Elementary, English, Science and ESE were recognized at this ceremony with an audience of their friends and family at Chipola’s Center for the Arts. On Friday Dec. 8, we celebrated the Nursing graduates in the Center for the Arts. Pins were presented to the 23 Graduates receiving their Associate Degree in Nursing. Another for CNA graduates will be held on December 15th. We congratulate all of these Chipola Alum and wish them the very best in their future careers. Chipola TRiO and SSS will host a Business and Career Day on Jan. 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students can come at their own convenience and receive help with financial assistance, resume building, job search and interview preparation. The Career Placement Center offers a variety of valuable resources to help guide students toward choosing the right career path. For more information contact Mary Ward at (850) 718-2431.


Chipola College is an Equal Access/Equal Opportunity Institution Chipola Baseball is announcing the return of their well-known Alumni Weekend, including the Alumni Banquet and Auction, which they are now calling the Leadoff Dinner. Taking place from January 19-21, Chipola baseball alums will return to Marianna for a weekend of reunion and fellowship. The schedule includes the chance to watch the current Indians compete in a Gold and Blue Scrimmage on Saturday, followed by an Alumni Batting Practice. After these events, the renowned Banquet and Auction will make its return on Saturday evening, at 5:30 p.m., at Bar R Ranch. The dinner is open to the public and costs $50 per ticket, which includes dinner and drinks. Chipola baseball alumni will receive free entry to the event (You must still use the ticket link to register - Please contact Coach Johnson or Nathan Marks for the alumni promo code to receive free entry). Chipola Baseball Announces Return Of Alumni Weekend Tyndall Federal Credit Union is funding a new Public Service Scholarship at Chipola College with a $5,000 donation for Scholarships through their Tyndall Cares Community Grant Program. The scholarship is intended to help students enrolled in the college’s Law Enforcement, Corrections and Firefighting programs. Chipola College is always proud to partner with those who are also #FutureFocused when looking out for our community.
