CHIROPRACTOR

• 1. Thermal Scan
• This takes temperature from side to side along your spine. In the same way that the skin around a

healing cut will get hot, our nerves give off a heat response when they are irritated. This measures
how our nerves are communicating with organs, glands, and blood vessels.

• 2. SEMG (Surface EMG)
• This asses how the nerves are communicating with the muscles that maintain posture. Knowing how

this communication energy is being distributed gives us a really good overall picture of the function
of the nervous system.

• 3. Heart Rate Variability
• This scan measures heart rate, skin conductance (how much your skin sweats), and skin

temperature. It puts all of that information together and tells us how your nervous system is
adapting to stress. It lets us know if you're stuck in a stressed mode of function, or a more calm
mode of function.

DENTAL HYGENIST

• Hand Tools-Dental hygienists utilize a variety of hand tools to maintain good oral
care for a patient. If you’ve ever tried to locate a source of pain or irritation towards
the back of your mouth, you know how difficult it can be to see it clearly. Dental
hygienists have the use of hand-held mirrors which can be angled and rotated
easily in order to peer into the hard-to-see nooks and crannies of the mouth to look
for tartar deposits or signs of decay. Soft deposits of tartar are removed using hand
scalers, hook-shaped instruments with pointed tips, and curettes, which are similar to
hand scalers, but have rounded ends and are used to clear away tartar deposits
underneath the gums.

• Ultrasonic Scalers-Like hand scalers, ultrasonic scalers are used to clear away plaque
and tartar from the surface of the teeth. The big difference is that they are powered
by pneumatic turbines and vibrate to break down plaque and tartar. This cuts down
on the amount of effort required to clean teeth and often provides a deeper clean
than do hand cleaners. They also provide a gentler treatment, offering a good
alternative for patients who are anxious about visiting the dentist.

• If you’re looking to become a pro gamer, it’s likely you already have your
own gaming PC setup. If you don’t, there are a couple of ways to get your
hands on one. If you’re interested in getting started right away, you can buy
a gaming PC outright. Prices for complete systems tend to range from $750
for a basic setup, to $2000 for a top-of-the-line model.

• Headset- It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, whether you are listening out
for enemies or discussing tactics with other members of your team, a good-
quality headset is essential.

• Wired controller- The controller you choose can affect what type of pro
gamer you become. For instance, some gaming conventions have controller
rules, and most ask for wired controllers instead of wireless.
