Christ Jesus were baptized into His death. By baptism into His death, we were buried
together with Him, so that just as Christ was raised from the death by the glory of the
Father, we too might live a new life. For if we have been united with Him by likeness to
His death, so shall we be united with Him by likeness to His resurrection.

PLACING A WHITE CLOTH ON THE COFFIN THE PRIEST SAYS:

Priest: On the day of his baptism, FIDELIA ABOSHIOGWE IFEDIORA put on
Christ. In the day of Christ's coming, may he be clothed with glory. Amen

Placing the scripture on the coffin the priest says:

Priest: The gospel, the good news of salvation has been your rule and guide
during your life, may it now assist you towards fulfilment of salvation
which you so much desired.

O God, to whom if belong to have mercy and to forgive, we humbly plead that you
have mercy on, the soul of your son FIDELIA ABOSHIOGWE IFEDIORA, whom it has
pleased you to recall from this world.Show him your merciful judgement and bid your

The souls of the virtuous are in the hands of God, and no torment will ever touch them.
In the eyes of the foolish, they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to
be an affliction and their going from us to be their destruction; but they are at peace. For
though in the Sight of men they were punished, their hope is full of immortality. Having
been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God tested them and

THE PRIEST NOW VESTED WITH CHAUSIBLE AND CAPE GOES NEAR THE
COFFIN w1TH MINISTERS, WHO ARE WITH HOLY WATER AND INCENSE. HE
THEN INTRODUCES THE RITES WITH THESE WORDS:

With faith in Jesus Christ, we reverently bring the body of our brother to be buried in its
human imperfection. Let us pray with confidence to God who gives life to all things
that He will raise up this mortal body to the perfection and the company of the saints.
May God give him a merciful judgment and forgive all his sins. May Christ, the Good
Shepherd, lead him safely home to be at peace with God our Father. And may he be
happy for ever with all the saints in the presence of the eternal king.

LET'S PRAY:
Lord Jesus Christ, by the three days you laid in the tomb, you made holy the grave of all
who believe in you and even though their bodies lie in the earth, they trust that they,
like you, will rise again. Give our sister, FIDELIA ABOSHIOGWE IFEDIORA, peaceful
rest in the grave, until that day when you, the resurrection and the life, will raise her up
in glory. Then may she see the light of your presence, Lord Jesus, in the kingdom, where
you live forever and ever. Amen.

THE priest sprinkles the grave with holy water, incenses it and says:
Since Almighty God has called our sister, FIDELIA ABOSHIOGWE IFEDIORA, from this
life to Himself, we commit her body to the earth from which it was made. Christ was the
first to rise from the dead, and we know that he will raise up mortal bodies to be like his in
glory. We commit our sister to the Lord: May the Lord receive her into peace and raise up
her body on the last day. Amen.

if he dies, and every living person who puts his faith in me will never suffer eternal
death.

with your Angels and Saints. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Eulogy to Fifi Ifediora

I will like to thank all of you for being here to help
Fifi's family and Friends celebrate her life and give

her a glorious passage.
I met Fifi when I was nine years old during our
Common Entrance Examination in Warri back in
1985. We coincidentally became school mates in
Delta Steel Technical High Secondary School from

1986 to 1992 and remained good friends ever
since.

Fifi as we all know was jovial, fun to be with and
loyal to her friends and groups that she

supported. She was the life of the party and had a
very funny sense of humor.

I remain forever grateful to God that during her
personal struggles, God made it possible for me to

play a great role in her life in association with
other friends and family that culminated in her
bundle of Joy, Daniel Ifediora in 2019 who just

turned 3 years.
I will never forget how Fifi gave me, my son,
nanny and my dog a roof over our heads when I
was abruptly transferred from Abuja to Lagos in
2017. I also will always remember how she drove
miles to see me constantly during my struggles
with fibroids, hernia and anemia in 2020. She was
always dependable and ever ready to help in

times of trouble.
Our last moments together was you rejoicing with

me on Christmas day during
my wedding looking ever so bubbly and happy

that your friend had found love again.
Fifi, you will be greatly missed but I am certain I

will see you someday in Heaven in the loving
arms of our Father God.
Rest on my dear friend!

Tribute To My Lovely Wife

Its difficult to accept the death of a loved one, especially when you didn't get the chance
to say goodbye, especially when the deceased died suddenly and unexpectedly in his or
her prime, and especially when it appears that an irreplaceable part of one's life has
vanished. The grief and pain can be unbearable; you cry uncontrollable and your
sadness knows no bounds. You can't truly understand what it's like until you've
experienced it, but you turn to God because he is the only one who can comfort you.
Passing away of my wife on the 3rd of January 2022, reminds me of the fragility of life.
It highlighted the razor­thin border between life and death. We take life for granted. Her
passing has caused me to pause and reflect. It has helped me to see things in a new
light. I'm still in a state of shock.

Fifi and I have lived as husband and wife for over 15 years. All through this period she
was my pillar of support. Fifi was my friend, my classmate, my sister, my companion,
my partner, my mother and my wife. It was the biggest dream come true to have you in
my life. Words can't express how empty I feel now that you've left this world. I'm lost
without you but I'm confident you're with the Lord. You're with angels, singing and
worshipping the Almighty, whom you devotedly served on earth. You may no longer be
visible to the naked eye, but your soul and the love you gave to so many will live on.
Please, because you are with the angels, please be our guide and intercede in heaven for
our children and myself. I wish I could tell myself that you would return eventually and
that you will return to be with me. Like I always tell you, I will still marry you in our
next world. I guess this is the way life goes. God's will must be accepted.

I miss a million things about you, every nuance of your personality. I miss you in every
way: mind, body, and spirit. I still consider myself extremely fortunate to have been
given the gift of you. I know I shouldn't question God because he knows and has reason
for everything, but I can't help but wonder: "why did you have to die?" We had a
number of wishes that we thought would come true. You served God fervently. Anyway
God knows best.

I'm assuming you're the greatest of the garden roses, and the Almighty only wants the
best. I know what you want to hear and see, and I will make every effort to provide it.
Only the great are said to die in thier prime. Fidelia Fidelia, I bid you farewell my
darling wife. Good night and sleep well.

FIFI........words seem so feeble in moments like this, words fail me. You were so full of
life, always ready to give a helping hand, always smiling, the loudest in the room, one of
the strongest persons i know.......hmmm death, where is thee sting!!! Henceforth,
anytime I think of you, it will be with a smile in my heart, as much as it hurts, I know
you are smiling down on us and saying.....'e don do, all will be well.

My memories of you will always bring a smile to my face and warmth to my heart, our
holidays in warri, surulere days, dancing competition, your loud voice, your big smile,
your love for your husband, your boo boo, family and friends and your upmost respect
for me till the end. You played many roles while you were here on earth and you were
great at all of them. A caring daughter, a virtuous wife, a great mother, a reliable friend,
my favourite cousin, I can go on and on.

This is an incredibly painful experience for all of us, the depth of this pain, I can't
comprehend but I take solence in the fact that you are only gone from our arms but you
are still and will always be in our hearts, where we will always have our treasured
memories of you. I will surely miss you fifilicious, you have left a hole in our hearts, we
love you but God loves you more. Goodnight my dear sister Fifi, sleep well in the
bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ, till we meet again.May you soul rest in perfect peace.

a miracle, for you to wake up, hnmmm I can’t even referred to you in the past, when
you came to GRA, first thing you said to me was, see as you fine with that your broad
smile and we just connected, you have never introduced me to anyone as your cousin,
you just say , joe na my sister o, through the laughter, the Joy, the cry, disappointments,
we still stick together anytime.,, to say I will miss you is an understatement… if only
Tears can bring you back…. God can not be questioned… in all things we continue to
say Thank you Lord, May the good Lord comfort your husband, my dearest Daniel,
your dad and mum and every member of your family…. I love you and forever you will

Hmmmm where do I begin from? When it is still so hard to come to terms with the fact
that you are no longer here with us... Fi5Ooo like I fondly called you, our friendship and
bond started from when we met as course mates in Unijos, we hit it off immediately you
knew I was the same Omene with the ones you grew up with in DSC Warri... Haaa what
a nightmare! My Fi5Ooo you were such an interesting individual, we laughed together,
cried, rocked all the parties, the escapades, shared good and bad times, that my life in
Unijos and afterwards can never be complete without you being a part of it! Oh how I
miss and will miss your UNIQUE SELF, never a dull moment! You were a part of my
family, all my siblings, Aunty Stella & even my Mom were all shocked to hear of your
sudden demise and they can only imagine what I'm going through knowing we are still
grieving bitterly about the loss of my Dad now you! My consolation is that the lovely
memories we shared will always keep me going and I pray that GOD will comfort your
Parents, Okwy, Daniel, Gift, your Siblings and all the loved ones you left behind

TRIBUTE TO MY DAUGHTER FIFI
I have harboured pains in my life but nothing pushes me. I am a tough woman. I can
deal with any difficult, hard situation or circumstances at any given time. I have the
ability to manage any crisis but losing you was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal
with, it broke me into a million pieces.

Fifi my first daughter, I brought you into this world without blemish, a young virgin girl
from a virgin womb, you were a perfect gift from heaven and now taken back to
Heaven. I Love You, I Treasure You, For You Were so Kind, Most Obedient, Most Loving,
Kind and Caring… I will forever cherish our moments, our dreams. The moment that
you died, you took a piece of me with you, my heart was torn in two, and was unable to
catch my breath, one side feel with heartache, the other died with you. Since you died I
often lie awake mostly at night when the world is fast asleep, and I take a walk down
memory lane with tears upon my cheeks remembering you.

Fifi because of you, I learned that life is a precious gift. I now try to love everyone and
everything just like you did that nothing in life is permanent, I should love hard and
love deep, I learnt patience, if I can see the good, I will make the good. I learnt how to
do the right thing, learnt to let go pain so that I could make Room for Peace, learned to
be stronger than I ever imagined, I learnt to live large, laugh loud and live with passion.
Dear God, please take care of my little girl and thank you Fifi for giving me a cute and
wonderful grandson “Daniel”.

Fifi, I know you are in Heaven, pray for me a Sinner to come to Heaven to reunite with
you. Rest in Peace my Princess till we meet again.

The news of your demise came to me like a thunder bolt, you were such an amazing
soul, an angel in human form. You left an indelible mark in the lives of so many, how
would l have know that you were going to live us in such a short while, my heart keep
bleeding, I find it heard to believe that you are no more. The last time you came to visit
us including daddy we talked at length full of hopes ,dreams and aspirations, l never
thought you could depart from this world so sudden, what a huge lost we dearly miss
you but my faith rest in the fact that you are resting in the boson of the lord. Sleeping

Resting in God's Bossom!
Fifi, we had visions and aspirations we needed to achieve 2022 and beyond. You told me
you were coming back on the 11th of January 2022 but you never did. I still look at the
door, expecting that knock and you saying "it was all a joke". I have asked God to bring
you home from your resting place just like Lazarus, as i need you more than ever. Dee
also needs you most. You left a HUGE vacuum no one can replace. I just can't phantom.
May God give me the strength to carry on as it's extremely difficult. God knows best
why He let you leave us so soon. Sleep safe my only sister as i believe, you will be our
guardian angel watching over us like you've always done.
