ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First and foremost, I would like to praise and thank the Almighty God for giving
us the strength and because of His blessing, we finally managed to accomplish
this assignment. Without his blessing, we wouldn’t have gone this far.

Then, I would like to acknowledge with thanks to our lecturer Sir Raja Ismail
Edhan Bin Raja Othman because without his guide my assignment cannot be
done properly. Thank you for your support and guide on how to do the
assignment in order to produce a good outcome.

Last but not least, I would like to express my thankfulness to my family for
giving me full support in order to complete the assignment. Without your
support, I would not be able to come this far. I hope my assignment will be
successful and will help for my study.

PROLOGUE

Days and years passed by so quickly that I failed to realise I
would soon turn 19 years old. There are some days that,
because they occurred once in our lives, we can't really forget
easily. I either got excited or frustrated when I remind of the
everlasting event in my life. This is such a memory in our life
that will remain in our mind till we die either it’s a bad one or a
good one.

CHAPTER ONE

Saturday, March 18, 2022, will be a memorable date for me. On that
day, I turned 18 and got my first driver's licence. I was so excited and
hoping that my family would remember my birthday, but they did not.
They were all preoccupied with their work, and not a single person
wished me a happy birthday. Even my mother has forgotten about this
special day and acts as if nothing happened. I was devastated and
tried to act normal in front of them. I asked my father if he knew what
day it was today, but he said he was too busy and asked me not to
bother him. “No one love me!” I screamed. The door shuddered when I
slamed it behind me So I decided to drive far away from my house to
clear my mind. On the way, I noticed that my car's gas tank was nearly
empty, so I looked for an oil station. I keep looking for it until I reach the
end of the road. There is an error somewhere along this route, which is
a one-way underpass. I knew it was a dangerous area, but I just kept
driving until I came across an oil station in the middle of a large forest. I
was terrified, but I remained calm and steady. When I got to the
counter, I noticed an old man looking at me. I was terrified and quickly
left. I started my engine after filling my tank and planned to return
home.

CHAPTER TWO

I continue my journey even I sense something was wrong with
my way. I have no clue about the surroundings as I had never
been here before. Being here in a wide forest all alone with
nothing is not a good idea but I had no choice. At this point, I
was lost. I stopped my car as I saw something caught my
eyes. I walked for about 100 metres and try to keep calm even
the sky showed that it going to rain soon. “It’s so amazing”! I
was so fascinated when I saw the waterfall infront of me. I
decided to take a rest for a while and enjoy the view here.
While I was enjoying my view, I keep thinking about my
rudeness towards my father this morning. I started to regret
about that and wished I can turn back time. I promise myself
that I would apologise my father at home. As a daughter, I
have to understand my parents’ work as they’re doing that for
the family. “I’m so stupid!” I screamed there and hoping that no
one hearing that. I felt so calm being here and tried to decided
to stay here for a while before going home. I was so happy and
didn’t realized the fact I was lost.

CHAPTER THREE

I opened my eyes after one hour and fell asleep for about half an
hour. I decided to go home because the sky was as black as ink, but I
have no idea how to get out of here. I was walking quickly to try to
explore the path, but I had no idea where I was. Something kept my
eyes open after about ten minutes of walking. I witnessed something
incredible that gave me goosebumps. “There is a house here!” I
whispered silently. How can someone built the house in the middle of
forest. The house seemed disturbing and haunted so I was scared to
go there. But, they sky seemd like it gonna rain soon, so I had to look
for a place to rest on. I had insane idea that might risk my life. I didn’t
know whose house was that but I would just going there.

CHAPTER FOUR

After that, I attempted to open the stiff door and enter the house.
There was old furniture that looked like it was about to collapse, and
everything was a mess. My mind kept telling me to sleep as I became
tired. After some deep thought and a silly idea, I decided to lie down
on the dusty bed in one of the rooms near the kitchen. Even though I
was nervous, my eyes were too tired to open, so I dozed off. I awoke
from my sleep after ten elongated minutes when I heard someone's
footstep. So I made the decision to leave the house as soon as
possible. As I took my first step, I heard noises that seemed to come
from nowhere and then “Bang!!”. The door slammed shut. As I heard
that, I knew that there was someone here. Then, I tried to check
through the hole as I curious. “It’s him!” I shouted silently. I was so
shocked when I saw the man that I met at the petrol station. I still
remembered how he glimpsed at me at the counter like he want to kill
me. At the other side, I also saw a kid with him and cried non stop.

CHAPTER FIVE

"Let me go!" screamed the child. "Don't move or I'll kill you!" yelled
the man angrily. I saw him tying up the child's hands and feet. As a
result, I assumed he was a kidnapper. When I saw that, I knew
there was something wrong with the man. I became concerned
and planned to flee, but I couldn't bring myself to abandon the
child. So I decided to wait until the man had gone. After a half-
hour, I noticed the man walking away from the house. Fortunately,
he left the child at home so that I could assist him. I approached
him slowly as he seemed so scared when looked at me. “Don’t be
afraid, I’m here to help you. How can you end up here ?”. The kid
remained silent when I asked him. “Do you know the man ?” I keep
asking him. He shake his head at me and said “No I don’t even
know him. He was kidnapped me at the school and I heard his
conversation with someone that they’ll sell me. I’m so scared”. I
didn’t shocked at all as I knew there was something wrong with the
man.

CHAPTER SIX

I quickly untied the child and devised a plan to flee before the
man returned. We were about to leave when we noticed someone
approaching us. "What are you doing?" "Let him go now!"
exclaimed the man. I didn't know where to run because he was
blocking the door. My mind had a thought. "Let's get out of this
window carefully so we don't hurt ourselves." We made the quick
decision to flee. The man pursued us until we reached the end of
the road. "Stop! Don't flee or I'll kill both of you!" he threatened. We
kept running as fast as lightning in search of help and a way out. I
had no energy left, but I needed to keep running because the man
was still chasing us. We ended up on a street a few minutes later. I
followed the kid's lead and found my way. "What brought us here?"
I inquired of the child. "I saw the light and tried to follow it,"
explained the child. After that, we saw a car and asked for
assistance. Fortunately, the man stopped following us when he
noticed someone with us. The driver of the car inquired as to what
had occurred and decided to transport us to the police station.

CHAPTER SEVEN

After one hour of the investigation, we allowed to return home.
The kid’s parents thanked me for my kindness. “We can’t imagine
what will happened to our son without your help, thank you.” I felt
so happy as I be able to help him. I hugged the kid before he went
home. “Be careful next time and listen to your parents”.Then, my
family came to pick up me as the police called my mom. I felt guilt
to my dad as I being rudeness towards him and apologized for my
wrongdoing. "Sorry dad, I’m too emotional and quite upset because
no one remember my birthday. I should understand that you guys
getting busier because of the work,” I explained to my parents
honestly. “No, we have to apologise as we’re actually want to
surprise your birthday so we just lied. We didn’t think that you
gonna be this angry,” said dad. Today was very hectic and it gonna
be unforgettable day for me. I hope the man will get arrest soon
and no one would be his next target. I hope I learned from my
mistake so that I would not make decision in a bad mood. This
year’s birthday gonna be one of my unforgettable event in my life.
