transport) is a means of transferring

Light rail or light rail transit (LRT) is a form of
urban rail public transportation that generally
has a lower capacity and lower speed than
heavy rail and metro systems, but higher
capacity and higher speed than traditional
street-running tram systems.

HISTORY OF The first LRT line, named STAR LRT
LIGHT RAIL after its owner, was constructed and
TRANSIT (LRT) opened completely in 1998.
The original system consisted of 36
stations along two routes, Sentul
Timur – Ampang and Sentul Timur –
Sri Petaling.
