As the host of the Steve Scaffidi show on 620WTMJ, I get asked this question a
lot. How did you get into radio? As a guy who previously worked in media
research and who also did a stint as the Mayor of the City Oak Creek, it
wasn't the usual path. Good fortune, a lucky phone call, and a couple months
of auditions, that was all it took!
For the last 18 months I've been fortunate enough to host my own show talking
about politics, culture, and the happenings in the great State of Wisconsin.
Never a shortage of things to discuss, and as you would imagine, I get to talk
to a lot of interesting people, including politicians, entertainers, and my great
callers, who make every day interesting.

One of the other great things I get to do as a radio host, is to host
listener trips and we have an exciting trip coming up next year,
my first WTMJ listener trip.

flightseeing adventure, perhaps a helicopter and dog sledding trek, a Mendenhall Glacier float trip or even a

have countless shore trips to take as we spend over 13 hours in port. Are you looking to go into the back country

Jeep. Maybe you want to take a scenic float down the river or spend time horseback riding on the trails. Visit the
rainforest, an eagle preserve or go on a photography tour. This is also your chance to go big, take a helicopter
