Jack The Cow

Jack’s Mother
The Men

Jack lives with his mother in a poor cottage. They only had a cow
with them. One morning, Jack’s mother told Jack to take their cow to market
and sell the only cow they had. His mother was so desperate for money that
they have to make some money by selling the cow. So, Jack went off to the
market. Near the market, Jack met a man. Jack decided to sell the cow to the
man. Apparently, instead of giving him money, the man offered Jack some
magic beans for the cow. The man told him that the magic beans will make
Jack a rich person. Jack believed him and took the beans and went back home.
When Jack’s mother saw the beans, she was very angry. She threw the beans
out of the window. She denied that the bean would make them rich and said
that it was just a random bean. His mother scolded Jack for being such a
dummy.

The next morning, Jack woke up and looked out of the
window. He was shocked to see there was a giant beanstalk. He went
outside and started to climb the beanstalk. He climbed up to the sky
through the clouds. Jack saw a beautiful gigantic castle. He went inside.
Jack heard a voice. ‘Fee, fi, fo, fum!’ Jack ran to the cupboard. An
enormous giant came into the room. On the table, there was a hen and
a golden harp. ‘Lay!’ said the giant. The hen laid an egg. It was made of
gold. ‘Sing!’ said the giant. The harp began to sing. When the giant fell
asleep, Jack looked around and tried to steal the chicken and the golden
harp. The giant suddenly awakens because the harp stop singing. The
giant was very angry when he saw Jack. Jack immediately begs the giant
to not eat him and he needs to help his family because they were
starving.

The giant looked thoughtful. The giant made a deal with him
by giving him two golden eggs and a humongous basket of
fruits and Jack have to chop down the beanstalk tree. Jack
also must not return and feed the poor once he becomes rich
because two golden eggs are enough to make him rich. Jack
agreed and ask for forgiveness from the giant. Then, he went
down and chopped the tree and make lots of money from the
golden eggs. Jack becomes rich and fed the poor just like the
deal he made with the giant. Jack and his mother live happily
ever after.
