Step 1: Click on Send – this will open the Attorney Page

Step 2: Search for and Click on the name of the Attorney you wish to send the Deal to

Step 3: Select the contact you would like to send the Deal to OR Add New Contact and click

The page displays that the transfer instruction has not yet been Not Yet been Accepted by

Attorney.

The transfer instruction is sent to the Attorney via Fusion and received as an email.

Clicking on the link opens the instruction in a browser window. The Attorney starts the 104
acceptance process by clicking on the Accept Deal button.

Attorney has the ability to change the Expected Date of Transfer Date.
Attorney sets up the correct contact for ongoing correspondence and clicks on Send
Confirmation.

Attorney will receive a second email containing documents attached to deal AFTER clicking
on Send Confirmation button.
The page now displays as Accepted by Attorney.

The Message Log
The first two communications have been logged i.e. sending the instruction and accepting
the instruction.
The following messages will be logged:
§ Deal sent to Attorney
§ Receipt of Deal (acceptance of transfer instruction)
§ Messages sent using the Send Message To Attorney
§ Attorneys replies to messages sent using the Send Message To Attorney
§ Automatic Update Request replies
§ Milestone updates from Attorneys using the LAW Transfer Suite.

The Deal Tracking section displays tasks / sale conditions which need to be completed in
order for the Registration of the property.

Task Reminder emails (Profile > Settings tab) will be sent to parties involved
up until the said task is marked as complete.

Edit the settings by clicking on the Edit Reminder Settings link.
Two standard sale condition display for each Deal, namely Deposit Due and Bond Approval
Due.
Add due dates as follows:
Step 1: Click on Edit Task
Step 2: Select a Due Date and enter a Note if required
Step 3: Click Save.
Create new Task:
Step 1: Click on Add Another Task
Step 2: Enter a name for your task, select a due date and enter a Note if required
Step 3: Click Save.

Mark task as complete:
Step 1: Click on Edit Task for the relevant task
Step 2: Select the checkbox for Mark this task as complete, select a Completed date for the
task
Step 3: Click Save.

Update the File Status of the Deal as and when required.

Messages Page

Emails to the Agents, Buyers and Sellers are sent via the Messages page.

Emails are sent from a noreply email address on the Message tab i.e. replies
will not be received.

Enter a Subject and your Message, select the person/s you would like to send the message 108
to (select documents to send if any) and click on Send Message.
Messages sent are logged in the Sent Messages section.

Documents Page

Upload and store documents pertaining to the Deal in the Document page.

Step 1: Click on Upload New Document
Step 2: Click on Browse, search for the relevant folder where you saved the Deal documents
and click Open and thereafter Upload

Click on the document link to download.
Click on Remove to remove the document.

Note that when sending the instruction to the Bond Consultant/Attorneys,
ALL documents uploaded will be sent. Be sure to only send relevant
documentation to the Bond Consultants/Attorneys.

4.1.3 Create Commission Slip

Step 1: Click on the Deals tab and select Signed Deals > click on yellow Create New Deal
button

Step 2: Click on Create Deal Manually > Commission Slip.

Step 3: Enter the Property Address, select a Date of Sale and click on Create.
Step 4: Click on Edit Selling Agency and enter the following:
§ Selling Agency
§ Selling Agent
§ Total Property Price
§ Total Commission (ex VAT) (auto calculates the %) OR
§ Total Percent (auto calculates the Total Commission)
§ Click Save.

Step 1: Click on Add External Agent’s Commission. Search the Fusion database for the external
agent
Step 2: If found, add agent to the commission table by clicking on the agent name

If not found, then create the external agent.

Commission Table
The Selling Agent’s % amount should be 100% less your agent’s comm. % e.g.
100% - 20% = 80%
OR
You may enter the Rand amount
R75,000 – R15,000 = R60,000

Remaining Commission = R15,000

Commission Splits i.e. for Agent and Office

Split R15,000 between Agent and Office
In this example the split is 50/50 i.e. R15,000 / 2 = R7,500 OR 50%
Enter R7,500 OR 50% as your Agent Commission split as well as your Office Commission
split.

The Total % of the Commission Splits must be 100. 111
Total Allocated Commission amount for Nett Total should be the same as the Total
Commission amount of the Selling Agency.
