Warm UP
1. Hang down Stretch
2. Lean to right
3. Lean to left
4. Spread legs and stretch middle
5. Arm rotation back/fourth
Knockout
Instructions:
1. Everyone will form a line behind the free throw line
2. The first two players in line will have basketball
3. The first person will try to make a free throw, if they miss it they must grab the rebound and score as fast as possible.
4. If second person misses their free throw they must also rebound their miss and make a shot as quickly as possible before the
person behind them scores a free throw.
5. If the students make their free throw they will advance to the back of the line
Rules:
– Player #2 cannot shoot until after player #1 has shot their first free throw. If the person behind you scores a basket before you, you are out.
Skill Focus: Quickness
Equipment: 2 Basketballs / Basketball Goal
Time Requirement: until one person is left in the game.
Space Requirement: Half gym court
Relay Race
Instructions:
1. Divide the students evenly
2. Give each team a baton
3. The teams will have to run down the court and back
4. Which teams finish the race first wins
rules:
Each team will need to touch the wall on the other side of the court and come back
The players will have to wait behind the line to receive the baton, then they can take off.
Skill focus: Speed
Dodge Ball
Instructions:
1. Divide into two (2) Teams, one team on one baseline while the other team is on the opposite baseline.
2. Place a Cone at the free throw line on both sides and balls (Amount Optional) at the half court line.
3. Both Teams should line up on the wall until instructed to begin.
4. When the Game begins both teams rush to half court to get as many balls as possible to back to their side.
5. Aim to Hit the other teams cone.
Rules:
If a ball is caught, the person who threw it is out. If a Person is hit with a ball they are out. When a team knocks over the cone of the
opposite side, their players may enter the game again. One person from each team may protect their cones.

Skills Challenge
Instructions:
1. Split the class into 2 teams
2. The first player in both teams will have a ball
3. The players will have to go through a series of cones
4. Once they completed the cones they will go make a layup
5. Once they make the layup they will dribble down and make a lay on there teams goal
Rules:
The players can NOT run with the ball, or try to not go through the cones

Noodle Tag
Instructions:
1. There will be one player with a noodle
2. The people without the noodle needs to try and not get touched by the noodle
3. If a player is touched by the noodle they are out.
4. The runners need to stay inbounds at all times or they are out.
Rules:
The tagger can not hit the runners above the neck area, they can only hit below the neck. If player runs out of
bounds they are out.

Equipment: Cone and Dodgeballs (Foam)
Jump the Brook
Instructions:
1. The students will form a line
2. There will be 2 ropes/jump ropes that the players will jump over
3. When each player jump over the rope the rope will spread apart.
4. If the player does not jump over the rope the player is out
5. The last man standing is the winner.
Rules:
The players can not have 1 foot in between the rope. Each player needs to have both feet outside the rope. The players can get a running
start.

How High
Instructions:
1. The students will line up in a single file line
2. There will be 2 students holding a rope/jump rope
3. The students will have to jump over the rope
4. Once the student jumps over the rope the rope will get higher
5. The person who jump the highest will win the game
Rules: `the players can not run under the rope and can not go around it. The player must jump over it with out touching it.

Equipment: a rope/ jump rope
Time requirement: N/A
Space Requirement: Full court
King of the court
Instructions:
1. There will be a player at the 3 point line and the rest of the students will be under the goal in line.
2. The player under the goal will roll the ball to the player at the 3 point line.
3. The player at the 3 point line will have 4 dribbles to try and get a bucket
4. The player who rolled the will have to play defense
5. If the player scores the ball they will go again and go against the next player.
Rules:
The player will only have 4 dribbles can not take more than 4 dribbles if they do they will go to the end of the line.

Equipment: basketball
Time requirement: until someone score 3 points
Space requirement: half court
Sack race
Instructions:
1. Divide into 2 teams.
2. Each team will receive 1 sack
3. They have to go to the other side of the court and come back
4. Once they come back the next player go
5. The first team to finish wins
Rules: Next person in line cannot go until person in front of them have crossed the line.

Equipment: Sacks (2)
Time requirement: until a teams wins
Space requirement: full court
2 Point Shootout
Instructions:
1. Split into 2 teams
2. They're will be students all across the 2 point line
3. Each player will shoot in a spot and shoot until they make it
4. Once they made it they will pass the ball around to there team mate so they can shoot.
Rules: the students can not shoot 3 pointers or layups

Jump rope race
Instructions:
1. The player will all form a line and have a jump rope.
2. They will race down the court while jump roping and come back
3. The first one back win
Rules:
The players can not take off running with the jump ropes.

Ball Hop
Instructions:
1. The players will divide into 2 teams
2. Each team will have 1 ball
3. The players will have to put the ball in between their legs and hop down the court.
4. If the ball pops out the player has to start over.
5. The team to finish first will win the game.
Rules:
The ball has to stay in between your legs and you cant have the ball in your hand while hopping.
