andinturn,theboardofdirectorswasexpanded.
OurAdoptionOptionsteam implementedour3-year
StrategicPlanandourprogram evaluationprocess.
Inpartnershipwithourdonorsandcommunity
supporters,weexceededourfundraisinggoalsand
increasedouroutreachefforts.Ourcontinued
progressandsuccessdirectlyandsignificantly
enhancedtheresourcesweprovidedtobirthmothers
experiencingacrisispregnancyandtoourFlexible
Familieswhoreceivedtargetedtherapiesand
attendedspecial-needscamps.
As2019isinfullswing,Iam extremelyexcitedtoannouncetheupcominglaunch
ofARISEAdoptionAcademy.ARISEAdoptionAcademyisAdoptionOptions’social
enterpriseventure.Threeyearsinthemaking,andinpartnershipwithourboardof
directorsandstaff,wearecreatinga“one-stopshop”onlineadoptionresourceand
educationalplatform tohelpprovidesupportandmuchneededservicestofamilies
post-adoption.
Ourgrowth,positivechangeandprogressin2018isdirectlyconnectedtoour
donors,communitysupportersandprofessionalpartnerswhoconsciouslycommit
to“showingupforadoption”everyday.
