Romane is originally from the Pencer area, and he began his career

for eight years, eventually becoming the lead in the Half Inch
Glazing department. He recalls a particularly fond memory from
when he worked in Glazing. An order came in for some intricate
windows that would be going into a church, and Bill Marvin
specified Romane’s name on the work order to be the one to do
the glazing for it. “I thought it was neat that Bill recognized the work
I did and trusted me with that responsibility,” Romane said. In 1975,
he moved to the parts and supply cage in Maintenance and he’s
been there in some capacity ever since. He’s sincerely enjoyed all
the people he has gotten to know and work with over the years.
