Introduction

General English text book for Primary teacher students being developed by teacher at
Pakse Teacher Training College. The format and teaching techniques in this book are the
information from the internet on English teaching Activities websites and from the Secondary
school books. It covers the English as a foreign language curriculum for the teachers, students
in Primary Department, foreign Department and all students in others department at Pakse
Teacher Training College.

The language teaching techniques have been developed to cater the needs of both
English teachers and students. These teaching and learning techniques are particularly suited
to language teaching in large classes, while still creating a student-center classroom, and have
been further refined to suit the Lao context.

The activities and materials in this book have been designed to make English
language learning fun for English students. The diversity of activities and content plus the
support offered in the Teacher Guide will motivate both teachers and students to make the
learning and delivery of English language in university, College, high school and secondary
schools a dynamic and enjoyable process.
