253 About the Author Courtney lives in the Ozarks with his wonderful daughter and loving cat. He never thought he would be described that way in the back of a book just like all the authors he read growing up. He plays Dungeons and Dragons since he got a player's handbook with his father back in 1982. After 20 years of public service, he now writes and illustrates fantasy gaming materials full time. He is three feet long and covered with fur.
