Make Character Count Every Day

(sung to Be My Baby Tonight)

I know you’ve heard about Character Counts and all about the
Golden Rule.

Maybe you forgot or it just slipped your mind so let’s sing this
song in school.

All it takes is just for you to remember this simple song.
Listen as I sing it, and then you try to bring it as everybody

sings along.
Honestly, be trustworthy and respect everybody. Everybody

needs respect every day.
Responsibility means you work with quality. Be fair and follow

rules every day.
Caring for others means you help your friends and brothers.

Show you care in what you think, do, and say.
Be a good citizen. Help them if they don’t fit in.

Make Character Count every day.
