A NEW LEADERSHIP
GET TO KNOW KEIR
What was your early life like? When you grow up in a small town, you
rarely thank your parents for naming you Keir! But I was lucky to grow up in
a loving family, and family means the world to me. My dad was a tool-maker
and my mum was a nurse.
What did you do before becoming an MP? I led the Crown Prosecution
Service, in charge of criminal prosecutions in England and Wales. This
involved working with the police and other agencies to fight for justice and
keep our country safe. Before that, I worked as a lawyer helping with the
implementation of the Good Friday Agreement’s recommendations on
policing. "My dad was a
tool-maker and my
What made you want to get into politics? I will always be thankful to
the NHS, which cared for my mum for much of her life. Protecting and mum was a nurse"
improving the lives of everyone in our country was what inspired me to get
involved with the Labour Party.
What do you get up to outside work? I’m a big football fan, and I play
regularly. But of course, my most important role is as a husband and a dad.
My kids couldn’t care less that I’m Leader of the Labour Party, which I love!
"My life experiences have put me in good

to put a roof over their heads."
I hope to earn your vote to become your next County

I am 27 years old and have lived almost all of those years

agricultural labourers. I have worked on farms myself,
while I was at university, and more recently during the
pandemic.
I also work for a translation company as a Project
Manager, and before the pandemic was an Early Years Bob Mumby
Teacher teaching English in China. I believe the variety of Labour

"Enhance our local communities not burden them"
I’m 44 years old and have lived in Billingborough for over 2 years
with my partner Helen and our two primary school aged boys.
I am a self-employed import and export professional with over 20
years experience in the Dental industry.
Over the last two years I have had many conversations with local
people about how Billingborough and Bourne has changed in the last
30 years. People love it here because of how friendly people are, the
sense of community, the rural way of life, the peacefulness and
tranquility of local walks and good access to larger towns.
They also tell me of a bygone time when village high streets were Paul Richardson
hustling and bustling with people, multiple public houses, picture
houses, family run local businesses and even a village school with Labour
it’s own swimming pool. I assumed that they were reminiscing & Co Operative Party
about 50-60 years ago. They were actually talking about the 1980’s, Candidate For
1990’s, 2000’s and the last 10 years! Folkingham-Rural
I’m standing for Election to become your Labour and Co-Operative County Councillor for
Folkingham-Rural because I believe in a vision to maintain what we have and improve what we
can in our communities.

"keep your taxes low and make Westminster pay."
Rosanne, also known as 'Rosie', has worked
within the civil service, retail sector, and small
business.
Rosie's family have always been fighters - it is in her
blood. Her granddad was a proud publican and
trade union activist, her father was a much-
cherished headteacher in Coventry, and her mother
taught her always to stand up for the truth. Her
ROSANNE KIRK family has instilled good moral values into her.
Labour & Co Operative Party Campaigning is at the heart of everything that Rosie
Candidate For does. Her dedication and determination have led to
Rosie being elected on the City of Lincoln Council for
Police and Crime Commissioner Birchwood Ward, Lincoln since 2012, elected as
County Councillor in 2013 for the same ward, and is the cabinet member for ‘Reducing
Inequality’ on the City of Lincoln Council.
Rosie has been committed to putting Lincolnshire's safety first by leading the
Council's anti-poverty strategy, community cohesion, anti-social behaviour, CCTV, and
public protection reforms.
Rosie will stand up for Lincolnshire, especially coastal communities, which are the
most deprived communities in England. She will also work hand in hand with our rural
communities to restore faith in policing and make Lincolnshire safer.
Violent crime has increased, coastal crime is spiralling, and youth crime needs
solutions - the Conservative government has failed Lincolnshire. Rosie will be willing
to challenge Westminister and the County Council to work in the interests of public
health and combating the root cause of crime, as well as dedicating herself to tackling
the unfair treatment of Lincolnshire by the Conservative establishment. Rosie will
fight for Lincolnshire's safety.
Why I'm voting Labour on May 6th
"The people of Lincolnshire are fed up with being ignored and
unsupported. We are the forgotten county. After years of Tory
control it is only Labour who can deliver that message to
Westminster" Harry Goodger, Langtoft.
“We are supporting our local Labour candidate as he
represents our community values and he will bring a fresh
perspective to local issues. Lincolnshire needs new ideas”
Margaret and John Riley, Aslackby.
"Over 20 years the Conservatives have been in control in
Bourne. Schools have been shut, Police stations closed,
transport links reduced and our high street decimated.
Bourne needs an alternative. " Nobody, Billingborough.

"Barry will be an excellent County Councillor, he genuinely
cares about people and is driven by a sense of fairness. He
will listen toconcerns and fight for better services for all."
Kathryn Salt, MBE.
The Bourne Labour Party would like to take
this opportunity to thank the NHS and all the
key workers who have worked throughout the
pandemic. Risking their lives to ensure we
keep ours. They are ALL heroes in our eyes.
