Alhamdulillah Hirabbil A’lamin,,thanks God with His bounty we
were able to successfully complete the ‘Coffee Table Book'.
Throughout the work of this course, we have gained various ex-
periences whether bitter or sweet that are very valuable and
meaningful in our lives as students. Every effort and experience
will definitely be a strength as well as a lesson that can be
learned in each member of our group.
Our deepest appreciation and many thanks to all the lecturers
of DCA 6263 Measured Drawing for giving us a lot of guidance
and advice as well giving us clear explanations so that this as-
signment can be completed. In addition to providing guidance,
we would also like to thank you for having giving us confidence in
preparing this book. Without prayer and support for the students,
this book will not be produced perfectly.
Millions of thank to every member of the group who worked
hard to produce this book. Every thoughtful ideas that came from
the minds of the group members have a very positive impact on
each of them to complete this book. Armed with a group of eight
members, it is not as obstacle for us to complete this book suc-

PAHANG STATE FLAG
Black is treasure of the treasur-
er’s greatness.
Symbolizes that at some point in
the past, when the government in
the state of Pahang was a person
with the rank of treasurer.
White is symbol of the king.
White above means that Pahang is a state that has its own sover-
eignty and monarchy
Also has privileges, laws, customs, ethics as well as the powers vested
in the king.
JATA PAHANG
The Cogan eyes are all made of gold includ-
ing Penongkok and Taran.
Gold metal was chosen because in 1862 gold
was the main famous product in the state of
Pahang.
The ivory crossed under slogan because at
that time, there was a lot of ivory throughout
the state of Pahang.
The phrase “Ya Latif” means meekness, sym-
bolically the government does not use vio-
lence.

The Pahang state government
moved its administrative Centre from
KUANTAN
Kuala Lipis to Kuantan district is di-
vided into 7 sub-districts, namely
Beserah, Kuala Kuantan I, Kuala
Kuantan ii, Penor. Sungai Karang,
Ulu Kuantan and also Ulu Leper.

HISTORY OF SUNGAI
LEMBING
1920 - 1950 Sungai Lembing became the main tin ore producer in Pahang
Darul Makmur. There are even English Villages in the Kelau RIVER Valley
like the popular el Dorado. Sungai Lembing tin mining is carried out by Pa-
hang Consolidated Company Limited. The underground mining technique
by building tunnels is more suitable because the rocks are quite hard to
build tunnel holes.

VERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE STYLE.
The “Vernacular Architecture Style” is the style that no need the archi-
tect to build it. It also dependent on area’s culture and resources. To
connected with our building research It can be seen at the built of firs floor
that wall, louver, floor, roof and constructions.

SHAPE OF BUILDING
GREEK REVIVAL ARCHITECTURE STYLE.
The “Greek Revival Architecture Style” is the style that make a build-
ing painting in “White” color. It made for resemble the white marble of
impressive and costly public buildings. To connected with our building re-
search It can be seen at ground floor wall and columns of our building re-
search.

HISTORY
Apart from the Clerk’s Club Building, one of the buildings is the La-
bor Club Building. This building was built around the 1930s,when the com-
pany was still operating. The club building is only reserved for PCCL sub-
ordinate workers. Various leisure facilities available at this club include 2
billiard tables, a drinking area, a swimming pool, and a badminton court.
Entertainment hatching was also held at this club for the entertain-
ment of PCCL subordinated. A meeting of PCCL employees with HRH Sul-
tan Pahang Sultan Abu Bakar was held at this Labor club Several Other
programs such as health talks were held at this Labor Club. Elizaberth ii in
1952 was greeted with great fanfare at the Labor Club. In 1950 at ‘Labor
Club is a ‘Home Guard’, the repository of a firearm during the communist
occupation in Malaya until Labor Merdeka. The club can accommodate
more less than 500 mine workers, This labor Club is a recreational club
for those who pay a day, for example the Hospital division, Large Engine
Division. Electrical Division and workshop.
The construction of the Labor Club house is one of the efforts of the
P.C.C.L Company to produce physically and mentally healthy workers. The
leisure actives carried out here are be to form healthy and productive min-
ing workers in the tin mining industry.

Before this, the space area at first floor of this building was divide by
3 space only that balcony, multipurpose area and drink bar only.

After that, they add two space, that is “office” and “meeting room”.
They also change one space to another space. For add space, they
change at multipurpose area. They use “Gypsum Partition Board” to make
a wall and divide that space become 3 space. Than they change “drink
bar” to “stor 3”.

COLUMNS ASPECT
Columns are an upright pillar. It usually cylindrical shape. It use to
support an arch, entablature, or other structure or standing as a monu-
ment at the building. For this building it use 3 types of column that was
concrete, steel at ground floor and wood at first floor.

LOUVER ASPECT
The louver is a hole made specifically to get air in and out (air). This air
hole is usually made in the shape of an octagonal, hexagonal or round. In
this building, the air space is on the door and comfort in a building. So with
this condition the building can get “Natural Ventilation” from outside.

WALL ASPECT
Walls are the building materials that make up a house or building. It
use for edge of building and room, also to make divide of space in build-
ing. Walls of this building vertically arranged walls require board (pian).

DOOR ASPECT
The door is a wall that can be opened and closed. The door can give way
in and out. The door of this building has two door leaves and one door
leaves that are open by inside.

WINDOWS ASPECT
Windows are built to meet the needs of lighting and ventilation. Tra-
ditional building window have two leaves on each window and the frame is
made of wood.

During the study period, we gained various experiences and lessons either
in field related to Measured Drawing or outside the field. This research
project has given us the opportunity to interact and migle with the outside
community especially those who are outside the building. Finally, we
would; ile to thank all the parties involved in the success of this project,
and to our colleagues, well done and congratulations for successfully com-
pleting this study within the given period.
