Patient Safety
Imaging reports written by RSF radiologists are meticulously
evaluated using key metrics and peer review procedures.
State-of-the-art Radimetrics software provides rapid
monitoring of radiation doses and sends daily alerts for
prompt, efficient follow up and correction of protocol
related issues. Trending data – generated through ongoing
monitoring of patient doses – is used to compare and
identify sites for improvement.
As a member of the Florida Hospital Patient Safety and
Quality Committee, RSF relies on the Patient Safety Culture
Survey and enacts National Patient Safety Goals.
