Since Premier Homes was founded in 1901, our 3rd generation family
owned company has built thousands of buildings across Victoria, and

1 INITIAL INQUIRY
Premier Homes have 4 generations of building and design experience,
and are ready to assist you in the early stages of your research to help
you find the perfect space that meets your needs and exceeds your
expectations. We have a display located in Bayswater VIC, and welcome
you to visit us to view the display and take the time to speak with one
of our experienced consultants. We have a large range of many different
sizes to suit any need. You may have some specific requirement for your
home or Granny Flat and we are more than happy to work through your
ideas with you to prepare a solution for your exact needs.
2 DESIGN & QUOTATION
At Premier Homes, we ensure that we deliver buildings that our clients
will love. We allow all customers to choose from our large range of
Homes, Granny Flats, Cabins or Custom designs. We can prepare you a
quotation and create a design that reflects your lifestyle. All plans can
be varied to meet your individual preferences for window positions, room
sizes & finishing touches. Having a team of building specialists, we can
advise you on the most cost-effective designs and methods to achieve
your vision. We can also make recommendations for the best materials
and layout for your needs.
3 SITE VISIT
If you are happy with Premier Homes design & proposal. For a small fee we
offer a site inspection where we come to check & measure the site for your
new Home or Granny Flat. Inspecting the site allows us to determine if your
objectives are aligned with your property’s slope, soil type, services and more.
Taking into consideration breeze and solar access as well as overshadowing,
we can determine the options that maximise your comfort and your home’s
potential for energy efficiency. From here, we can determine if any alterations
must be made to the design.

4 PERMITS & BUILDING CONTRACT
At this stage, Premier Homes have prepared you a quote, checked the
site, and if you are ready to proceed, the offer to purchase can be signed
and a fee paid. This enables us to then begin the Permit Process and
Building Contracts to be signed. Premier Homes offers a full service of
plans, certificates and council applications. With our almost 100 years
in the industry, we are experienced in dealing with permit requirements
from various councils throughout Victoria. You can be assured that we
will have your council’s approval with minimal delays.
5 CONSTRUCTION
Once the Building Permit has been issued, the construction of your Home
or Granny Flat can begin. Prior to the Construction on site, your Project
Manager will be in contact with you to deliver a timeline and update you
on the progress of your build. You can sit back, relax and watch your
building come together.
6 COMPLETION
We bring the materials for your home to your site for installation. Our
team will connect your home to the property’s utility services so all you
have to do is furnish and add your personalised touches. Premier Homes
designs homes, granny flats & cabins in order to give you a convenient
solution for your spatial needs. All buildings are made to be superior in
quality, style, and comfort.

ENERGY EFFICIENT SYSTEMS
The energy systems we include change from job to job depending on
your budget. But we are always trying to encourage the client to make
their new home as sustainable as possible without blowing the budget.
Some of the systems we recommend are double glazed windows, solar
panels, energy efficient appliances, gas hot water & energy efficient heat
pumps. These systems work along side the passive design principles
ensuring a comfortable home that is sustainable and has low running
costs. Our consultants will run over these systems with you allowing
you to make the right decision for the environment and your personal
circumstances.
ENERGY EFFICIENT DESIGN
We strive to ensure that your home performs, looks great and can be a
home you love, while employing passive design principles. We achieve
this by strategic orientation and layout and maximising good passive
solar design. Passive heating and cooling is optimised by good placement
of shading and overhangs.
CONSTRUCTION
We have a system, which results in a faster onsite construction time.
This limits the interruption to the site and environment, and minimises
building waste. This process ensures we can deliver your new home
with great turn around times and you can sit back, relax and watch your
building come together.
ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIALS
All materials for your new home will be carefully resourced to ensure
the materials are as eco friendly as possible. Predominantly building
materials are made locally within Australia and many can be re-purposed
at a later date. Your family’s health is of the utmost importance to us, so
many of the materials we use will be zero-formaldehyde products and
low VOC paints, adhesives and sealants.

Premier Homes are the most respected name associated with Granny
Flats as we are the recognized leader in the industry. For over 4
generations we have been “keeping Families together” by building the
finest custom made Granny Flats in Victoria. Our homes are backed by
a 10 Year warranty as we use only the highest quality materials and
provide exceptional workmanship that is second to none.
Our team is made up of courteous, knowledgeable and empathetic people

your loved ones. We have over 100 standard plans which you can
mix-n-match different features, giving you versatility and flexibility in
design. Alternatively we can design exclusively for your individual needs
or size restrictions. Furthermore our unique method of construction

care of all aspects of meeting Council’s requirements, so you can leave

Our strong, durable and versatile range of Garages, Barns & Farm Sheds
will be an enviable addition to your property. Fully customisable and
built to withstand the harshest Australian conditions. Our unique column
to rafter connection comprises extremely heavy-duty plates welded
to frame members with eight large high tensile bolts per connection.
Our Garages offer five superior footing connection options; including
continuous columns cast directly onto concrete footing, separate stub
columns to be cast in to footing, columns Dynabolted or Chemset in to
concrete slab, bolt cages or fixing to pad footing. We offer a variety of
premium cladding and rainwater products which are available in a variety
of stylish COLORBOND® steel and ZINCALUME® steel options, long lasting
anti corrosion coatings with a superior guarantee. We offer a full choice
