PROBLEM STATEMENT DESIGN CONCEPT TARGET USERS The target users of this military buggy are the army at the national border or open border. The military buggy should be small and light with advance technology that can be carried easily in a transport aircraft compared to military trucks or tanks. Develop a future soldier military buggy for Malaysia Armed Force that can improve the surveillance and reconnaissance system. The current surveillance system of the Malaysia Armed Force is not strong enough which can be improved by implementing the new technology and design a buggy to enhance it. Legoland project


This internship project is to design the inner part and modified the Legoland props that can function properly, can be assembly and disassembly.


DESIGN BRIEF DESIGN STATEMENT DESIGN OBJECTIVES DESIGN CRITERIA The Legoland’s props should present the functionality with different colors of LED light and can be disassembled when need to repair the inner electronic part. To design the inner part of Legoland’s props and to create a functional props for clients which can be assembled and disassembled. To design the inner part and modified the Legoland’s props that are functional, can be assembly and disassembly. To design the inner part and modified the broken Legoland’s props that can use screw and nut to assembly. We need to measure and draw the whole outer with inner part of the sword and dragon egg that are functional for the musical performance purpose which contains electronic parts inside the models. LEGOLAND PROPS DAILY TASK 6 The props that have broken are scanned by using the 3D scanner. Then, traced the line on the scanned model’s mesh data and scale to the nearest size according to the actual sword. After that, compared the size of the original props model with the modified version by using Netfabb. Another task is used the surface modeling technique on the ellipsoid to build the dragon egg. The daily task in this project is to discuss the drawing with the supervisor, sanding the 3D printing model, glue the sticker on the plastic rod, and assembled all the parts.

TURTLE SHELl COVER


This internship project is to develop a new turtle shell cover that can allow the injured turtle swim again in the water by using the reverse engineering.


DESIGN BRIEF DESIGN STATEMENT DESIGN OBJECTIVES DESIGN CRITERIA The design criteria is the turtle shell should present the functionality that can cover the injured part or wound and avoid the water leak into the shell. To develop a new turtle shell that can cover the wound and protect the lungs. To create a suitability of 3D CAD drawing that matches the size and surface of the original turtle shell by using the reverse engineering method. To develop a new turtle’s shell cover that can allow the injured turtle can swim again in the water. To develop a new turtle shell’s cover by using food-grade material to fit the injured turtle which includes the design problem-solving process and reverse engineering process. In this project. It is needed to conduct research and undergo the process of reverse the surface for the original turtle shell. TURTLE SHELL COVER 7 PROJECT BRIEF


TURTLE SHELL COVER INTRODUCTION 7 On 17 February 2020, a customer and a veterinarian went to the office and sought for help. The problem they faced is the turtle’s shell is cracked and damaged after had been hit by a car on road. The request of the customer is to create a new shell which can help to cover the turtle’s wound. This is one of the most common problems seen in freshwater turtles is shell injury. Treatment of these animals is unique given the complexities of turtle anatomy, semi-aquatic lifestyle, and rate of healing. As the turtle had recovered, repaired the wound itself and remain in a good condition with the care from the veterinarian. The owner decided to find a solution that can let the turtle swim inside the water again. Material Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing For Final Turtle Shell Cover The outcomes of the turtle shell’s cover are printed by using material which is KS-158T. The clear stereolithography (SLA) resin that has accurate and durable features. It is designed for solid-state SLA platforms. It can be applied for the functional prototypes in the field of medical. The typical benefits of this material are superior clear, less part finishing time, and easier post-curing. The transparent SLA resin is used to enable the owner or veterinarian to observe the condition of the turtle’s wound.
