Reflection on the business:

I learned that it is very important to be extremely organized with
starting the business. In the beginning it started as a brainstorm.
Brainstorming requires a lot of special attention in specific topics. For
example: the first thing is to know what type of business I want. Here I
have to think about what can benefit me and also the community. In
this project I decided to have my business in my community in
washington heights. This means that I have to do a business that the
hispanic community will approve of by making what ever I am going to
do popular. After my decision of the business i wanted then I needed to
think about why i wanted this business and also how i am going to make
money. I had to write down my vision for this project, this meant how i
wanted this business to look in the future. Then I write down my
missiion statement which includes a persuasive statement that involves
my attitude towards my business and helping the community. At the end
my business is having a healthy cooking class that will benefit all
residents of my community. It will be affordable and helpful to each
individual that needs help changing their daily diet. Another important
concept in having a business is a budget, this means how much am I
willing to spend for an empty space I could have and also all the
equipment needed to continue my plans. The reality of money is that at
the end of this plans, loans from the bank have to be taken. A lot goes
on in having a business and it is very important to keep all
records/documents of everything you do.

FACEBOOK :

Facebook, American company offering online social
networking services. Access to Facebook is free of charge, and the
company earns most of its money from advertisements on the Web site.
New users can create profiles, upload photos, join a preexisting group,
and start new groups. The site has many components, including
Timeline, a space on each user’s profile page where users can post their
content and friends can post messages; Status, which enables users to
alert friends to their current location or situation; and News Feed, which
informs users of changes to their friends’ profiles and status. Users can
chat with each other and send each other private messages. Users can
signal their approval of content on Facebook with the Like button, a
feature that also appears on many other Web sites.
