Philippine Islands Cruises is based on the
owner's country of location which is the
Philippines. The Philippines has been
known to have a total of 7,641 islands which
is blessed with natural and scenic beauty
that serves as a home for the Filipino
people. The owners wanted to come up
with a name that will immediately remind
their customers of the Philippines and its
culture. The names of the ships Luzon,
Visayas and Mindanao were based on the
three main islands of the Philippines where
characteristics of each island shows
diversity in its language, religion, and
culture.

(the great landmass that it shares with Asia) and

Port of Copenhagen “Copenhagen Malmø Port”
Copenhagen Malmo Port is a major turnaround cruise port in
Northern Europe and among the most popular departure ports for
Baltic Sea itineraries. Among those are the round-trips to Norwegian
Fjords and to Scandinavia and Russia (visiting ports in Norway,
Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, Russia). Cruises
leaving Copenhagen comprise 45% of the ship calls. Copenhagen is
also a significant port of call on Christmas cruises leaving from UK
ports
Frihamnen Port
The Ports of Stockholm authority also manages Port Kapellskar, Port
Vartahamnen and the new Port Norvik. The new cargo port has
capacity to handle the largest vessels. Port's cruising season is in the
summer. As call port, it is included in most Baltic Sea itineraries.
Stockholm is served by regularly scheduled ferries to Turku and
Helsinki in Finland also to Tallinn (Estonia),Riga (Latvia ) and to St
Petersburg (Russia).
CRUISE PORTS
Tallinn Estonia Cruise Port
Port's cruising season runs late April-early May through late
October-early September. The average number of cruise ship calls
per year is around 300. Tallinn Passenger Port is among the busiest
Baltic cruise destinations and serves over 0.5 million cruise tourists
annually. Since 2011, The port has also been a turnaround destination
(homeport) for cruise vessels leaving from Tallinn on roundtrip
itineraries. The new service is via cooperation with the international
airport Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (Estonia's largest). The airport
is located approx 4 km / 2,5 mi from downtown.
St.Petersburg Cruise Port
Peak-season June 2017 alone, the cruise port handled a total of 56
ships and 122,770 passengers. Two new ships (TUI's Mein Schiff 6 and
Regent's Seven Seas Explorer) made inaugural calls. On May 2, 2017,
was the maiden call of the newbuild ship Viking Sky (Viking Ocean
Cruises). In 2017, the port handled 243 ship calls with over 540,000
passengers (19% increase over 2016). The port had 20 long-term
berthing contracts with cruise companies and the ferry operator
MOBY LINES.
