4 ABOUT US Due to increasing demand for high quality Islamic Education, Pusat Pendidikan Al-Amin Berhad (PPAAB) is set to expand its chain of Al- Amin Islamic School at Seksyen U20, Shah Alam since 2015. This school aims to serve the surrounding community. PERSONAL GOALS Islah (Embracing Transformation) Ithar (Preferring others above oneself) Ihsan (Striving for Excellence) Mardhatillah (Seeking Allah Pleasure) EDUCATIONAL GOALS Students are able to obtain appropriate and sufficient academic standard to pursue territory education. Students are able to sufficiently carry out their role as ‘Abid and Khalifah’ benefiting themselves and others. 7 WORDS FROM PPAAB CHAIRMAN هَّللِ ٱلهر ۡح َٰ م ِن ٱلهر ِحي ِم ۡس ِم ٱ بِ Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, All Praise is to Allah for granting me to pen a few words in this annual magazine. Let me first congratulate to the organizing committee and the publishing team for successfully produce this magazine. It is my sincere belief that the magazine will provides a good exposure in potraying the overall holistic activities of our students. These holistic activities would be best viral through social media to the nearby communities around Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara and as far as Rawang because we have students staying in those areas. Sincerely, we hope that some of the activities can be a model to other schools. There are pertinent lessons to learn from the glorious history of a race who had conquered a major part of the civilization through knowledge and akhlaq. Their origin were simple normadic life but has brought to the world, the scientific and civilised society through their subservient to the Mighty, Allah. They have built a civilization within a short span of time never experienced before by other civilizations. It is through their great observance and submission to Allah’s commandments that Allah has bestowed upon them success upon success. Known as Khairul Ummah, they were graced with extraordinary personalities that our present ummah can embrace and emulate. They were the Quranic generation under the leadership of our prophet Muhammad SAW. We dream to build these generation through the process of our tarbiyah in our school. One day this generation will be our leaders of tomorrow who will lead our nation to success in this world and the hereafter. We need leaders who have the highest integrity and akhlaq of the Quran. Once again I would like to congratulate the committee for producing this magazine. My thanks to all the teachers who have constantly sacrificed for the benefits of the students and the school. Alhamdulillah, all praise to Allah for giving me the opportunity to express my words in this school magazine. Congratulations and well done to the Al-Amin Tropicana School Magazine Editorial Team, who are so dedicated and committed to publishing Al-Islah which is our Al-Amin Tropicana School Magazine. Al-Islah is one of the medium that captures academic achievements and various activities throughout the school year for the attention of the students and the general public. In addition, it also serves as a platform for students to hone their talents and creativity in various fields. Education is the engine for the development of people and society. If we believe that education can change our lives and families, we must work hard to equip ourselves with all kinds of knowledge. In fact, there are wide open opportunities for students to seek and gain knowledge. Students as the future leaders of the nation should be prepared and constantly equipped with a wide range of knowledge in order to overcome all challenges ahead. 9 WORDS FROM PTA CHAIRMAN هَّللِ ٱلهر ۡح َٰ م ِن ٱلهر ِحي ِم ۡس ِم ٱ بِ Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Alhamdulillah. It gives me great pleasure to provide my foreword to AATS’s Al-Islah school magazine for the 2019 edition. As one of the pioneering parent from the school’s inception in 2015, it is heartwarming to see how much the school has evolved since those early days. The publishing of Al-Islah is one of the markers of its commendable progress. The 21st century educational requirement has become increasingly dynamic, whereby learning is not confined to within the classroom anymore. In the face of this challenge, an ideal learning experience is one that first addresses the need to shape the personality and character of the individual. Once the mind and body are sowed with the right content and exposure, the product of it will not just be individuals who are ready to take on the challenges in this world, but also those who are able to make good of their knowledge to bring improvements to their society as rahmatan lil alamin. In my opinion, this holistic approach to education is the essence of AATS’ motto soleh wa musleh i.e. to produce desirable individuals to bring desirable impact to society. I am sure you will find and sense this essence as you peruse through the pages of this school magazine, through the sharing of the school and club activities in the year 2019. The school magazine also provides a window for the parents to look into the makeup of the school and learn of the people who spend every day of their lives shaping our children to become the great khalifahs of tomorrow. It is indeed the most noble of contributions in this world of which the fruits of your labour will be to the benefit of future mankind. For that, I can’t thank you enough, and only Allah can reward you befitting of such noble deeds. Praise be upon our prophet Muhammad SAW, the last messenger, the best figure of the universe. Highest gratitude to my beloved parents who has given me full support and encouragement throughout all these years. Besides that, not forget to mention, Ustaz Usaid, Headmaster of AATS and Mualim Faiz, Head of Nuqaba for giving me opportunity to be the Head Student of AATS for 2019. I also want to express my gratitude to all AATS teachers who had guided, supported and taught me throughout my school journey here.
