BETWEEN PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE Competition

Every National Day is a special day at JPS but this year it was
even more special because the UAE celebrated the 50th
anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates – The
Golden Jubilee.

As part of the celebrations, JPS held an exciting art competition.

Children in FS1 to Year 2 constructed any piece of art that
represented the UAE using a variety of materials .

Children from Year 3 to Year 6 were tasked with painting a
canvas at home of something that represents the UAE between
past, present & future.

Abdulla Kulaib Emirati ambassador at Jumeirah Primary School
contacted the amazing influencer, MAX Stanton. He asked him
some questions about how he learned the Arabic language and
more to inspire our students and show them that nothing is
impossible!

Emirati children are celebrating a hundreds
of years old tradition to mark the arrival of
Ramadan, known as Hag Al Laila, which
means ‘For this Night’.

Ramadan, Month of Giving.

In cooperation with our Head Boy & Girl, Deputy
Head Boy and Girl, Wellbeing Leaders and the JPS
community, we were honoured to be part of this
initiative to spread happiness by gifting all our lovely
support team a hamper each and sending additional 300
gift bags to a local labour camp with GEMS and STA
staff.

Ambassadors represented our Emirati Families and JPS
community by gifting our support team and Iftar meal and
Edaya.
