TITLE:
IT IS HURT,
BUT IS BETTER
THAN BEFORE

Love is something that is a ‘mystery’ to me. It was not easy to find true love in our life.
We need to search everywhere and we need to face many unexpected things. I think many
people have their own experience about love. Same to me too, that was a memory I
remembered in my life. Therefore, this is my story about love. I had a nice and sweet boyfriend.
He was a popular person in high school. Many juniors love him and want to try to get him.
However, I was not interested in him at first. Then, he approached me and tried to talk with
me because he knew I was not easy to get. He gave me many presents like chocolate,
keychain and others. However, the thing that I like about him is that he always gives me some
food like cakes, cookies, donuts and others. Nevertheless, the unique thing is he put all the
food in Tupperware. It made me fall in love with him at that time. Then, we started to be friends
at first because I wanted to know more about him. After a few months, we got into a
relationship as a couple and it was fun at first. Like the other couples, we still had a fight but
we tried to settle the problems nicely.

Let us start my story. 2 years ago, he invited me to go on a date at the mall. He planned
to watch a movie and shopping for some stuff together. I was accepting his invitation and like
the other girls, I felt happy and excited to go on a date. It is because we rarely meet each
other. We arrived at the mall around 9:00 a.m. Firstly, we went to the cinema and got our
tickets and we chose a love story. That story was very fun and it makes me feel like I am the
main character in that movie. Actually, I was having a fight with someone last day and I want
to talk about that problem. It is because he was my boyfriend and for me, he needed to know
about my problem. If you want to get a strong relationship with someone, you should share
and understand the problem with each other. Therefore, I decided to tell him about that after
we watched a movie but he told me to go eat first. Therefore, I just agreed and followed him.

Then, he brought me to the restaurant near the clothes shop. The restaurant sold a lot
of western food like burgers, chicken chop, french fries and others. When I wanted to get the
orders, his phone was ringing and he left me because he wanted to pick up the phone. I
ignored it because I think it was just a normal conversation. After I got my order, my food just
arrived and I decided to wait for him because we wanted to eat together. I was waiting for him
for like 30 minutes and I started to feel worried about that. I feel overthinking and my face turns
sad because I think he left me. Before that, I tried to call and message him but he still did not
answer. Then after 2 hours I was waiting for him, I decided to go home. Therefore, I called my
grab car to send me back home. I went to my bedroom and started crying. Nevertheless, I
was still waiting for him at that time because I tried to think positively that he has a problem.

Therefore, I decided to ask his friends about him because I thinked his friends knew the reason
why he did that to me like that. It is because I trust him and I knew he was a mature person.

After a long hour, I saw my best friend’s status on WhatsApp. She showed her chat
with my boyfriend but I already knew they were close as best friends before. I try to think
positive about it but I feel bad because he still replies to her messages but he does not reply
to my messages and answer my calls. Then, his friends messaged me, they told me their
profile picture on WhatsApp was the same. I felt shocked and had nothing to say about it. It
hurt me too much and I started to cry again. I was asking myself “Did I do something wrong?
Did I hurt him? ” Many questions came to my mind but they did not have answers. As a girl, it
was hurting me so much because he did to me like that. I tried to be strong and think positive
but it was already the answer. I was just daydreaming and thinking about the misfortune that
befell this.

Suddenly in midnight, someone texted me on WhatsApp and asked if I was okay or
not. Then, I started to cry at him because I felt emotion and stress to think about what
happened. He tried to talk with me because it is one of the ways to calm someone down. He
talked with me a lot and without me realizing it, I started laughing and smiling when I heard
his story. He said to me that he wanted to visit me now. It was because he wanted to make
sure I was in a good mood and did not skip eating. Therefore, I was waiting for him at my
house and my face looked so tired and stressed. After 20 minutes, he arrived at my house
and I was shocked about something. He gave a teddy bear and some chocolates to me .That
was very cute and I just laughed about it because it is so funny. Actually, that person was my
boyfriend’s friend and his name is Lucas. He always help me when I have problems and
arguments with my boyfriend. I was more comfortable with him and decided to know more
about him. From this experience, I learned that not all people could accept yourself and be
sincere to be your friend, boyfriend and anything else. It is because a kind person will accept
you, treat you like a queen and the most important is he will always be with you how matter
what happens.
