HIP LANE PROJECT

This year SK Parit Kadzi had decided to create one project which
focuses on an “English-friendly” environment. Since this project can
be part of the out-class program in the HIP (Highly Immersive
Program), they took a different approach this year because the school
had never done or created any “special” place for students to learn
English. Therefore, the main objectives for HIP Lane are to create an
English environment in school and to encourage students to learn
English.

ACHIEVEMENTS

As the teachers are aware English Language is an important subject,
their team decided to make English in a fun way and let the students
learn English through games such as word search, snake and ladder
and hopscotch. When students walk through this lane, they will learn
about basic grammar rules and spelling in English. This project had
involved school staffs and teachers from different options to show that
HIP does not only revolve around English teachers but also for the
whole community in school. This HIP Lane is hoped to bring more
interest among students to learn English and learn it in a fun way!
